Serta Egyptian Cotton 600 Thread Count Damask Queen Sheet Set with Bonus Pillowcases

I was so excited to find these sheets in "sea foam" as my bedroom color scheme is chocolate brown and sea foam. Now I take sea foam to be a light, cool-color green/blue, which is what I have in my curtains, even in my lampshades. The other thing about these sheets is that they are 600 thread count and also Egyptian Cotton! How could I go wrong? I had looked forever for the color sea foam, and this was one of the first sheet sets to come up with that color. Most greens are a 'sage' color these days. What can I say? I guess I am about a decade too old in my decorating schemes. So I get the sheets, I open the package and what do I see? A beautiful, smooth-to-the touch sheet (gorgeous feel) but they are...........dark olive/sage in color. The color looks NOTHING like sea foam. In fact, I had ordered extra pillowcases (400 TC feather-touch) in a sea foam color, and they arrived a few days later. The two colors were NOTHING alike! When I called customer service to complain, they asked me to take a picture and send it to them, so that they could better understand how the the description was so off. So I lined up the pillowcases with the sheets for the picture, and they are so different that there is absolutely no question about the mistake in labeling them "sea foam" when in fact they should have been labeled either olive or dark sage. This is Sealy's fault, not Overstock, however I think that Overstock should update their description with an ****Seafoam is not as pictured - it is more of a dark sage.*** So if you are looking for that color, I think you will like these sheets. I did not remove them from the package, so I cannot comment further except they felt extremely smooth to the touch and I think they had a pretty decent density/weight to them.
