THIS IS A VERY COMFORTABLE MATTRESS TOPPER. IT HAS REALLY MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF SLEEP I AM GETTING. THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT IS VERY EASY TO TEAR. YOU HAVE TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING IT. THE PILLOWS THAT CAME WITH IT ARE VERY COMFORTABLE TOO.

I recently bought a generic 3-inch Memory Foam Topper from overstock. Description was exactly the same as the Serta-branded Foam Topper. I was satisfied with it and decided to buy another one. This time, the prices for both the generic and Serta-branded Foam Topper were the same, so I bought the Serta Foam Topper. This item proved to be SO MUCH MORE comfortable than the other one I bought, which I thought was satisfactory. I was pleased with the generic item, I am very very, very pleased with the Serta Foam Topper.

I read the reviews and so I decided to order the mattress to try it out since the price was resonable enough plus I had a disount coupon. I received it and agree with the others, and the directions that came with it, that you have to allow it to roll out on its own and that it has a very strong smell, but it does go away, again as per the intructions. For me it was a good 24 hrs when the smell started to disappear...The original reason why was even looking into something like this was because I was having a really bad lower back pain for like 2-3 days. So, again, I decided to give this a try, for the reasons stated at the beginning. My experience the first night: I was on my back waiting to see if anything would happen. I purposely didn't take any pain medicine to see how good this mattress would be. I used the pillow that came with it as well and just layed on my back...the first few minutes, I was noticing nothing and said to myself, "well this isn't working!", but then all of a sudden, I started to feel the pain and the tightness start to loosen up. As the time passed and I layed there, I noticed how comfortable I was starting to feel, to me it was like I was on one of the spa chairs when I get a facial. The mattress started to completely contoured to my back and the pain finally left. I woke up that morning without the pain and every night since then has been with the same results. So I'm very, very pleased with the product and do recommend it. To me it was better than taking pain medicine every night...

The memory foam topper is very comfortable and the price was great. The only downside is that there is still a slight odor that's prevalent after 1 month. I'm also a little disappointed that it is not of the same consistency as the bonus pillows, but still provides a great deal of comfort.

I purchased this set in an effort to save a dying mattress that is only two years old. The first few weeks on the topper were great. No more back or shoulder pain from the sagging mattress. Unfortunately, after about a month the underside of the memory foam actually begins to mold to the valleys in the mattress. The topper is still comfortable but not saving me from back pain as much. The pillows are also very comfortable, but not great for side sleepers. They work best if you sleep on your back.

I love my memory foam mattress topper! My bed is soft but supportive. I am sleeping more soundly and I don't wake up with aches anymore!

We really like the mattress topper. Our mattress has never been very comfortable so it definitely helps. We would probably have never tried the pillows had they not come with it but we also really like them and will probably never go back to a regular pillow.

The mattress topper by Serta is a great product. I have slept much better since it arrived -- no aches and pains in the morning and no nights spent trying to get in a comfortable position. If you only want 3 hours of sleep, do not buy this product because you will find yourself sleeping 7, 8, 9 and even 10 hours!!!!

We are in need of a new mattress, but our budget is not cooperating - so our daughter suggested this memory foam topper and pillows for us to try. We just love it!! the topper is soft, yet firm, and comfortable. It has transformed our bed and sleeping experience. We bought the full size and it fit our bed perfectly. I would recommend getting deep pocket sheets so that it completely covers the mattress, topper and mattress pad if you use one.The pillows are a great bonus, and I was really surprised that we would sleep so well on them. If there was one drawback - I think others have mentioned this, there is a slight odor to the memory foam. I would take it out of the packing materials and let it 'breathe' overnight or even for a day or two before placing on the bed.Excellent bargain over all - thanks!!

I ordered the 3" queen sized memory foam pad to be delivered to my son's home on the West Coast prior to a visit, since we would be sleeping on an old mattress there. I paid for expedited shipping and was very pleased that it arrived a few days ahead of schedule. I thought the item was a great value based on comparisons I made before buying, and it was very comfortable, giving new life to the old bed. I would have given it a 5 for comfort, except that my husband found it a little too soft, while I thought it was perfect. Maybe for him the 2" pad would have been better. Altogether, a great buy!

This bed was a great buy but just very uncomfortable. I had to return it and get the 2 inch topper which was much better. You would just sink into this one and not get the support you needed. My wife would wake up complaining that her back hurt int he morning and she is a very small lady. I am a bigger guy around 200 lbs and I didn't have as big as a problem as she did but I admit the 2 inch topper is much more comfortable.

I bought this matress topper in order to prolong the life of our current mattress. I read all of the reviews on this site prior to making my pruchase and thought it would be the way to go. But now that we have had the mattress topper for a few weeks I have found that the memory foam does not spring back to it's original shape. (and we are not big people) When we get in bed at night, there is still an impression where we were laying the night before, which basically leads us to sleeping in that same spot. I think we will have to just spring for a new mattress, this did not give us the results that we thought it would. Maybe if it was a denser foam it would have more memory and spring back. But I must say, the pillows that came with the topper have worked out well.

My friend is staying with me for a few months and can't tolerate the extra firm mattress in the guest room. This foam topper did the trick. She likes a soft mattress and this topper is very comfortable for her. Puffed up quickly once unwrapped, and by nightfall she was sleeping like a baby. No smell. I like sleeping on a really firm mattress. I tried this out and was suprised how supportive it is.

My husband and I recently purchased a serta memory foam 3in. topper. We were a little nervous about pruchasing something that was not returnable after opening but gave it a shot anyhow. Once we opened the memory foam topper it did have a strong smell for about 2 days or so, now it seems fine and we don't notice any smell. The quality of the memory foam is amazing and once we slept on it we were in HEAVEN! I did not want to get up in the morning! we put the memory foam topper on top of a "memory foam mattress with it's own topper." However I wouldn't quite call the mattress high quality. But the Serta topper really added a lot of comfort and we will see how long it lasts. We were very pleased with our purchase and we are thinking about buying another serta mattress topper in the 4lb. density and 4in. On a side note, we have a king size bed and the topper is about 2 inches to short in width, but we did not see that as a big deal.

I returned a 3-inch foam topper to a retail store because I was not satisfied with the 'memory foam' effect. My thought was this mattress has a memory like mine - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I ordered the 3-inch Serta brand from this website and thought for the value I had to try it. I have a sleep disorder and low back discomfort. After 2 weeks (I'm only 130#) I found this Serta mattress also has a bad memory. It indents where you sleep and I find I need to turn it around alot to get a firmer effect. When it is good and not dipped in the middle (where I sleep) it is very comfortable. So may not be for everyone. I am keeping it even though the mattress it is covering is expensive and firm. It was too firm.

I purchased this 3" foam topper for my bed and a memory foam body pillow hoping it would stop the hip pain that I was experiencing. It has made a huge difference. After the first week, my hip pain was a fraction of what it once was. The foam topper is heavenly. The foam topper is thick enough to give you that feeling that you are sinking in but also firm enough to support you. I debated on whether to purchase the 3" or 4", I am glad I went with the 3". The bed had a a deep matress to begin with and the additional 3" on top causes me to make a little hop up to get on the mattress. I have been using the pillow and foam topper for about a month and on the few days that my hip pain is noticeable, it is very mild. As far as the smell, it was very mild. The topper is treated to minimize the smell. It was money well spent.

This mattress topper is fantastic. I've been living with back pain for years and this really helps. Its a little warm but if you use your summer sheets along with a mattress cover, its great. Also, you should get deep pocketed sheets because the topper is thick. I would definitely recommend.

I did my due diligence and read all the reviews on mattress toppers and bought the 3" memory foam topper from Serta. I took other reviewers' advice and bought the Cal King even though we have a Queen-sized bed. Didn't have to cut much off! This topper is absolutely heavenly and I am a lover of Firm/Extra Firm mattresses!! If you are a side sleeper, this will save your hips. I would recommend this topper to anyone.

I purchased a memory foam topper for my daughters room and she loves it. She would wake up at least 1 or 2 times each evening - now she sleep through the night.
