After reading other reviews about the actual colors being different than pictured, I decided to order anyway since shades of green can be forgiving. But I found this to be really pretty accurate in color to the photo. Hunter green is mentioned in the description, but it's definitely not that. It's a soothing sage/light olive with pretty accents of gold in the pattern. Very nice the for price.
I took a chance on this relatively inexpensive set, and am glad that I did. The colors are only slightly less bright than shown in the photo, but I am very pleased with the textured weave. And it fits our queen size bed perfectly. I am not sure how it will fare after being dry cleaned but I would still recommend it.
The comforter set is a really nice material and quality. Even a little bigger than my last queen sized comforter. I agree with the other reviews though; I too wish it had a matching accent pillow or two and the color is not as "sage" as one would expect. It is very light and gets a little lost in the gold. It looks more of an olive/beige than sage, but my walls are sage and it works. Very few choices out there for gold and green these days and this set was a lovely addition to my room.
I would not recommend this product to anyone...it was cheaply made and the colors were not as stated in the ad. It was shiny gold with a little green and lots of orange. The ad says it is sage...no. I ended up donating it to an abused women's shelter. I will not order anything with fabric on the internet again.
