What does the king sized pillow weigh?
This is a great pillow. It reminds me of pillows of old. I stole one of my father's latex pillows years ago and it took another several years before it finally fell apart. These pillows are made like that. I, personally, found it too high for me. My son loved it. It has good bounce, shape (which lasts) and strength and I am betting they will last a long time. Unless you need some major give like I do (i.e., feather pillows are too soft, this is too high, so a little flatter and it would have been perfect). you will love this pillow!...

It was too hard for me. Cannot use at all. Nice pillow if you need a firm one.Read More
I expected more from these pillows after reading some of the reviews. I like a firm, plump pillow. Latex usually offers that. These pillows were long and low. They were fairly firm, but I used another pillow on top of them for the desired height and firmness. They are uniform in size and look nice on the bed, but aren't the pillow I needed or expected.Read More
I was very excited to fine these pillow online. The quality is excellent and the bargain price was great. The medium firmness provides perfect comfort.Read More
This is a little more expensive than most typical pillows, however, it is worth every penny. I like the fact that is is longer that even a King-size pillow, it is almost like a side pillow, the kind you snuggle next to while sleeping. I believe you will enjoy the comfort and firmness of this pillow. Thank you.Read More
We upgraded from regular-sized latex pillows to these king-sized pillows; they are well-structured (maybe too well for me!), dense and bouncy/resilient, and I'm sure they will keep their shape for a long time. The pillow is a little too high for me but works well for my husband. It took me several nights to get used to it, and it still feels a bit uncomfortable when I'm on my back. I like my head to be almost neutral and not propped up a lot when I sleep. Great for side sleepers though. Definitely on the firm side. I'm hoping that if I sit on it for a while then it'll flatten out a little more.Read More
This is THE perfect pillow for both my wife and me. It has excellent head & neck support, while at the same time remaining soft and comfortable in any position. The latex foam is long lasting too, we had our old ones for about 8 years! Well worth the $ you will not regret it!Read More
These pillows are a wonderful investment. The same pillows at department stores or mattress stores sell similar pillows (latex) for a lot more. I'm a side sleeper and my husband is a back sleeper; we both love these pillows. They are just comfy and they maintain their form. It molds the weight of your body (or head for that matter). I'm so glad I ordered them.Read More
I purchased a latex pillow about 18 years ago and loved it so I purchased these to go on a new bed and they are as nice as the one I have enjoyed for many years.Read More
Quality was great, down to the soft zippered covers, but this picture is SUPER misleading. The pillows are very firm and high - not comfortable at all (for me personally). I am returning these pillows. Overstock has GREAT return service. I highly recommend you getting the Premium Natural Latex Foam Pillow instead. I received these today and they're exactly what is expected from latex pillows.Read More

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
