Is this a 100% latex only topper with no other kinds of chemicals or foams mixed in??
I bought this because I have severe arthritis, fibromyalgia, and a host of other problems including nerve ending problems. I needed to soften up my mattress and memory foam I use to use was horrible! Went with latex this time and it is a world of difference. It definitely has the softness and support both I needed. this is not like memory foam at all. There no off gassing, it has buoyancy rather than feeling like sleeping in a slab of clay, and wont heat you up at all. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you have arthritis and or fibromyalgia. To me, it has a medium firm to softer side of the medium feel. Hope this helps someone else with information they are needing to make the decision to buy. Well worth the money!...

This is an excellent buy on a great product. It has real latex in it, and you can feel the difference from the so-called "foam" toppers. It makes sleeping with my arthritic shoulder joints much more comfortable and should last ca. 10 years. I have tried them all, and this is by far the best.Read More
The major negative for this topper is that there are 3 sections-it is not one continuous piece of latex. Plus it's a bit on the warm side, which latex is not supposed to be. But it is comfortable and my back and hip pains have improved.Read More

I'm not sure what 3 layers means- are there 3 different layers of latex, or is there a mix of latex and other types of foams? Also, is it Talalay, and can you please specify the ILD rating?
We don't have an ILD rating on latex foam. This generally applies to memory foam. There is a fill of 2-inch thick Latex Foam. The other layer is going to be Poly/Cotton.
can you give a IDL load rating in say 22-24 38-40. also what is the weight and is this dunlop/
The item's firmness level is Medium and the weight is approximately 30 pounds. This item is not Dunlop.
what does 3 piece mean...is the latex in 3 pieces? also who is the manufacturer
The topper has three layers, and the brand for this item is Sealy.
Just received this item yesterday in Cal-King size and slept on it last night. The word "layers" is incorrect. This topper is in three "sections". These sections are separate and distinct blocks of 2" thick latex inhabiting three pockets of the zip cover. For the Cal-King size, these three blocks span the bed left to right with small gaps between them. Also, for the Cal-King size, each of these three 2" sections of latex are made up of two smaller blocks of 2" thick latex glued together with a very hard glue bead running left to right the entire width of the bed in the middle of each of the three sections. These long lines of hard glue go around all sides of each of the three latex sections and can easily be felt while you are laying on the topper.
What is the IDL rating? Soft or medium?
This item is a medium firmness.
