Is the pad cover water proof or resistant?
I was looking for a 2-in twen foam topper to place on top of my twin bed mattress, and found this Sealy. It was sent promptly and has a zipper cover on it, and it is very nice. I am very happy with it. But be warned--note it says "twin/full" and "queen/King" . I took a chance and ordered the twin/full not knowing WHICH size bed it would fit. I was concerned because I was told could not return it unless it was flawed. However it turned out to be a twin and am pleased with it and would like a full size now, but apparently it comes in twin. This is odd. but I am very happy with it. since I wanted a twin. size. I would think it would say it comes in twin or (probably a queen?) only....

Was in really bad need of a new mattress but while saving up to get one decided to at least try to get some comfort in the meantime, so , I purchased this topper to put on my older mattress. I was very impressed after just 3 days I felt relief from the back and hip pain I had been experiancing from sleeping on my old mattress and while I definately still need a new mattress this topper has bought me some time and muchj needed sleep. Also, once I get my new mattress this topper can go right on that one. Love this produch and the fact that it's latex which is what I wanted.Read More
I purchased this topper because latex is suppose to be cooler than memory foam. I have issues with getting hot on my pillow top mattress and thought a latex topper might solve the problem. Unfortunately, it retained even more heat than my mattress. If you don't have a similar problem, you might like it since it is very soft and comfy otherwise. Returned it with no problem.Read More

I bought this after having disastrous results with a 2.5" Canopy brand memory foam topper from Walmart. Although the Walmart topper was cheaper, it was 6" shorter in length and 5" shorter in width than my bed -- and worse yet, it made me wake up constantly because it was clingy and hot. The Sealy, on the other hand, fits my full size mattress perfect and (best yet) it's made of really good quality latex which not only cushions, but also does NOT heat you up during the night. This mattress topper has ventilation holes that work to keep things cool and, of course, it's made of latex rather than memory foam. I had a mattress cover that I'd been using for allergies -- I tried it on this mattress topper and the ventilation holes STILL do their job! I've already had this topper for about a month and it is not breaking down, sagging, wrinkling, or getting body or butt-sized holes or pits. Sealy has done a great job on this product! Oh, and compared to the Canopy -- which came with a too-small cover that the customer had to wrestle on to the floppy mattress cover, the Sealy's cover is already on the mattress cover. One last thing -- memory foam and other cheap mattress toppers have a smell that is SOOOOooo disgusting that it's impossible to even have the topper in the house for the first 3 or 4 days. Not so with the Sealy. No smell at all. I really, really recommend this product!Read More
Bought this for the very firm, non-pillow-top mattress on a platform bed. Now it is a nice supportive mattress with a little luxury. We had a guest sleep who slept on it before and after topper and he said it made a BIG difference in the comfort of the bed.Read More
There is no mention of this latex pad having zones. There are two quite large zones which are filled with air holes 3/4" across every 3/4". That's more air than latex giving me absolutely no support. Even the other three zones have over-sized air holes. In this case the latex alone is not worth the money. So sadly it goes back.Read More
I bought this for my son's room and he loved it immediately. No smell when he unwrapped it, and it fluffed up right away. The 2 inch loft is nice. I think when I purchase one for my bed I will go with a 3 inch loft. The 2 inch softens the bed considerably, but a 3 inch loft makes you feel you are sleeping on a cloud. :)Read More
nice quality, love latex. am satisfied with this purchase. I put it over a futon which has softened it up a bit.Read More
This was a good purchase. I am planning on buying a new bed, but this makes things just fine for now while I make up my mind. I like the fact that one sleeps ON a latex mattrsss pad, not IN the pad, which is how the memory foam feels to me. it is ever so comfortable, not hot, and so far has not developed any dips or dents in the area slept on most. And, when I get the new bed, it will transfer beautifully. The cover is of a crisp higher count cotton, so I expect it to be washable. Delivery was fast, it arrived in perfect condition and I was sleeping on it that night. I even plan to take it with me once I narrow down my choices for a new mattress to see how it improves things. I've even thought of buying three more and combining them, thus becoming a new mattress, but now sure how I'd get them to stay together. I think this means I'll probably be shopping for a latex mattress.Read More

Is this product 100% latex? If not what is the % latex?
Yes, this product is 100 percent latex.
Is this talalay or dunlop latex and what density? soft, medium or firm? thank you
This item doesn't have an exact density for this item. The item is more of a soft to medium level of comfort. Latex foam will naturally conform to the body pressure points and provide spring-like resistance and support. It is not firm and unlike memory foam, does not need body heat in order to soften and conform to the body.
From the previous description, this sounds like a 2 pound density foam which would give an ILD of a soft 18 pounds. It would be soft like a latex pillow but firmer than polyester batting in a pillow. If it is it will not give a lot of support. Medium density foams have ILDs of 30 and equates to 5.7 pound density Talay foams. Dunlop would feel a little firmer but less resilient than the Talay process foam. Most latex foams have a 80% syn to 20 % natural blend.
FAQs about your Latex Mattress
If you're looking to upgrade to a latex mattress or have already bought one, you may have a few questions. Often used to replace innersprings in a mattress's core and provide a base for memory foam mattress toppers, latex mattresses are gaining popularity because their unique elastic properties provide a firm sleeping surface that conforms to your unique body shape. This guide will answer frequently asked questions about your latex mattress and provide you with all the information you need to become acquainted with this new bedding trend.
FAQs about Deep Pocket Sheets
If your mattress is thicker than 14 inches, you may have struggled to find the right sheets. No one wants to worry about keeping a fitted sheet on the mattress, but if you have a pillow-top mattress or you use a mattress topper, that may be an issue for you. If you're not sure what to shop for, take a look at these answers to frequently asked questions about deep pocket sheets.
Facts about Memory Foam Infused with Latex
While there are many mattress toppers that claim to provide comfort, latex memory foam provides a firm, durable, breathable material that relieves pain and draws you into deep, restful sleep. Check out the facts: There are five reasons memory foam with latex is a good option for you.
How to Buy Sheets to Fit a Pillow-Top Mattress
Everyone knows that pillow-top mattresses are designed for additional softness and comfort. Due to the padding, pillow-top mattresses have more depth than regular mattresses. The height of the padding varies, but generally, manufacturers make pillow-top mattresses in depths varying from 7 to 22 inches. Specially made deep-pocket sheets for pillow-top mattresses are available; however, it is important to know the depth of your mattress before purchasing sheets. Here's how to buy the best sheets to fit your pillow-top mattress.
How to Recycle a Memory Foam Mattress Pad
Once your memory foam mattress pad stops providing springy support for your mattress, it's time to let it go. In fact, switching out your memory foam mattress topper every 10 years is recommended to ensure that you're getting the support you want while you sleep. Rather than throwing your old memory foam bedding away, try repurposing it with a few helpful tips. Keep reading to learn how to recycle a memory foam mattress pad in an eco-friendly way.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
How to Compare Memory Foam Mattress Toppers
An investment in a good night's sleep, a memory foam mattress topper is made to mold to your individual shape, support every part of your body, and cut down on painful pressure points that can develop when you're not properly supported during sleep. Mattress toppers also add a bit more padding to your standard mattress, making your bed even more relaxing. Here's how to choose the best one for you.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
FAQs about Pre-Owned Rolex Watches | Overstock.comFAQs about Pre-Owned Rolex Watchesby Shawna Edwards I've never made a large purchase online. Why pick Overstock.com?Overstock.com is one of the largest retailers of high-end jewelry and watches. This allows "first-time buyers" to feel more secure in making a large purchase because they have an added layer of security via their credit card company. Do all your Rolex watches come with their serial numbers?Every Rolex watch sold by Overstock.com will have its unique Rolex serial and reference numbers in place and viewable by removing the watch band from the six o'clock and twelve o'clock ends. What is meant by "Perfect Like New Condition?""Perfect like new (day one) condition" watches are pre-owned Rolex timepieces that are purchased by Overstock.com in pristine, mint and immaculate condition. This obviously is the case cosmetically and mechanically. Every timepiece is thoroughly inspected to ensure that they are authentic and meet our quality standards. These luxury watches are so pristine that, in most cases, they are indistinguishable from new watches. Our men's watches and women's watches may have miniscule markings, and the watch bracelets will have miniscule amounts of stretch. Will my watch come with documentation?Every watch will come with detailed documentation stating a full watch description, serial number and model number. Being that the manufacturer's warranty has expired, you will receive a limited one-year warranty from our vendor. Will my watch be covered by a warranty, and what about post warranty service?Being that the manufacturer's warranties on these timepieces have expired, our vendor issues a one-year limited warranty on every watch. The warranty work is done by expert watchmakers who use only original manufacturers' parts and have decades of experience working with Rolex watches. After the one-year limited warranty has expired, you may continue to request service through our vendor who will service the watch when needed at industry cost prices. How can I be sure that the watch will fit my wrist? All our watches will fit up to a 6-and-a-half-inch wrist for a woman and for a man will fit up to a 7-and-a-half-inch wrist (extra links are available for additional charges). Rolex watches can be easily resized to fit any wrist by your local jeweler. How do I measure for my wrist size? You can get an approximate measurement of your wrist by using a soft measuring tape or measuring the inside of your best fitting watch. If you don't have a soft measuring tape, you can wrap a ribbon or a piece of string around your wrist at the wrist bone, mark the spot where it meets, and measure it against a ruler to determine your approximate wrist size. To get the best fit, measure fairly snug at the wrist bone. This is approximate sizing not a 100 percent guarantee of prefect sizing. If the watch is a gift and you do not know the recipient's wrist size, you can use the following as a guide (as with all products, the standard sizes depend on the manufacturer):Men's Standard Bracelet SizesInside, including watch face while bracelet is closedAdult Small5-1/2" to 6-1/2"Adult Average6-1/2" to 7-1/2"Adult Large7-1/2" to 8-1/2"Adult X-Large8-1/2" to 9-1/2" Women's Standard Bracelet SizesInside, including watch face while bracelet is closedAdult Small4-1/2" to 5-1/2"Adult Average5-1/2" to 6-1/2"Adult Large6-1/2" to 7-1/2"Adult X-Large7-1/2" to 8-1/2" Will the watch be fully water-resistant? And can I go swimming or shower with my watch?Every Rolex watch is fully tested for water resistance; the total depth rating is listed with every model. Drawing on years of experience, it is our recommendation that, though Rolex watches are water resistant, because of the fine nature of the timepiece, we discourage our customers from making a practice of taking them in the shower or pool. If for some reason the stem, which is the round mechanism found on the side of the case, which is unscrewed to set the time, is not completely screwed down, water could leak into the movement and damage the watch. (Please refer to your warranty card regarding water damage.) The chances are incredibly slim that this will happen, but nonetheless it is our recommendation that our customers refrain from taking their Rolex watches into the water to avoid any unnecessary problems. How does Overstock.com offer such great prices when my local jeweler has a similar piece for considerably more?Overstock.com has built the best connections in the business, affording us the ability to buy from dealers at the highest level of the industry. Through these connections we can buy in the largest quantities while getting the best pricing. Being that we are not an authorized dealer of Rolex or affiliated with Rolex, USA we are able to offer our customers rock bottom pricing without being subject to any manufacturer's price controls or policies. Do I need to be present to sign for the package? For your safety, you will need to sign for the package that contains your watch. If you are not present when it arrives, the package will not be left at your door. A door tag will be left to inform you when the courier will come to redeliver your package. Alternatively, you can call the courier to arrange a better delivery time or pick-up (with photo identification) at the local hub. What is the benefit of buying a pre-owned Rolex over a new one?Unlike new Rolex watches, pre-owned Rolex watches do not depreciate in value immediately after purchase. Therefore, buying a new Rolex watch is like buying a brand new car: The moment you drive it off the lot it has lost 20 to 30 percent of its value. With buying a pre-owned watch, you have effectively cut out any value depreciation and retail markup. Rolex watches hold their value over time; in most cases, a pre-owned Rolex can be resold at a price very close to your purchase price.Rolex designs don't change too often; therefore, owning a perfect condition pre-owned timepiece is as good as a new one, with no one knowing that the watch was purchased pre-owned. No one can spot a used Rolex on your wrist. With the proper care and maintenance, a Rolex lasts forever. How do I determine the age of my watch? You are guaranteed to receive a desirable modern watch with a fully automatic self-winding (or quartz movement depending on your purchase), with quickset date feature. Due to the fact that Rolex models are manufactured for a number of years, the year of your watch will be circa 1980s or 1990s. Every Rolex watch sold by Overstock.com will have its unique Rolex serial number, which determines the year of manufacture. Overstock.com and our Rolex Vendors are not affiliated with Rolex or Rolex, USA Inc., and are not an authorized Rolex dealer. Third party One-Year Warranty.
