Satin Sheet Set
 from Iowa,  Nov 18, 2009

A Satin Bottom sheet was recommended for helping my husband to get "in and out" of bed easier (Advice was from our "Parkinson Support Group") This set has been very helpful, as well as beautiful. Since a top and bottom satin sheet set made EVERYTHING slippery (comforter, blankets, etc) I use a top cotton sheet and have remade the original satin top sheet into a spare bottom sheet by putting elastic around edges and tucking in.

satin sheets
from Gig Harbor, WA,  Jul 1, 2009

My husband wanted satin sheets bcs he'd heard they were cooler in the summer. I was ambivalent. But the price was good, so I bought the set. For some unknown reason I forgot we have a queen bed and ordered king size sheets. I only figured out that error after I'd washed the sheets prior to putting them on the bed. Too late to return them. Oh well. Put them on the bed and thought I'd never get them to stay. They kept slip-sliding all over the place. Hard to get the quilt to stay on top of them too. I was afraid we'd slide right out of bed that night!! But we didn't. The sheets didn't feel any cooler to me than our regular cotton ones and the fitted sheet tended to pull up from the corners. Not sure if that was a function of the sheet or of the oversize. So... The price wasn't bad, but I'm not rushing right out to buy more.

quality and price
 from Utah,  Dec 9, 2009

I really love these sheets. The fabric quality is a little on the low side, but for the price, they are totally worth it! They're very soft and only shrank a little after washing, not enough to really effect the fit. I think they're beautiful and I'm very happy with them. My husband complains about his pillow sliding out from underneath him and has since changed pillow cases. But satin sheets are always slippery. I'm very happy with these sheets even if he's not.

Satin Sheets
from martinez, ca,  Nov 1, 2009

I'm really glad I purchased these sheets. I was doubtful of their quality based on the price, but was very pleasantly surprised. We have a king size bed, the sheets and pillow slips are ample in size. They are a little slippery, but it makes turning over from one side to the next so much easier, even in flannel pajamas. Making the bed is very easy, although sometimes the top sheet comes loose from the bottom. Just need to tuck more in, I guess. We received our order very quickly.

not bad
from South Jersey, NJ,  Sep 2, 2009

This was our first experience with satin sheets so I have no reference for comparison. We like them for sleeping on, but making the bed is difficult. They slide all over the place. I love the gold color though. I have a king and they are very generously cut for fit. Easy to wash.

So nice!
from Los Angeles,  Aug 21, 2009

This is my first time owning satin sheets and I think they are great. First of all, the price and shipping costs are amazing! And the sheets were delivered incredibly fast! They are very comfortable and beautiful. I almost ordered gold but decided on ivory. I'm glad I got the ivory because they are pretty dark. To me, they look like the gold does in the picture. I was afraid they were going to be white but they are a beautiful color. I've only washed them once so far but they dried really quickly and they are just beautiful. I love them!

Great Value
from Durham, CT,  Aug 20, 2009

These sheets were even better than I expected. I have them on my bed now and can not believe how soft they are. They were a great buy and the price was even better. I recommended them to my family and friends.

Good sheets
 from Texas,  Jul 24, 2009

My husband also wanted to try satin sheets because he thought they would be cooler in our hot Texas climate. They have worked well for us. We sleep with a fan on and the sheets definitely seem to make it cooler. They feel good against our skin and the sheets have stayed in place. The fabric quality is okay, I've seen better. There is difficulty keeping our bed spread on top of the sheets, but we're enjoying them. The pillowcases our great for my hair and the fabric feels sensuous on my skin.

lush
 from Michigan,  Jul 19, 2009

I love these sheets-I have been trying to find some for the longest-you can have your 600-800-1000 thread count cottons-give me my polyester satin-so smooooooooth-what a dream when you roll over in bed & get in & out-no sticking to the sheets & night gown all tangled in the sheets-the only thing is they unfortunately do look like the picture (good thing usually) was hoping they would actually look purple but they don't they look kind of like a raisen color more brown than purple-lucky for me I have a turquoise bedroom set & they look great anyway. I can't say enough good things about satin sheets. I hope they never stop making them & if I could always get them for $25 I would be extremely happy-oh! I know, purple & turquoise? I have a contemporary original watercolor painting in my bedroom-shades of purple, turquoise mostly & I love it.

nice
from Lancaster, CA,  Mar 29, 2012

in the summer they are awesome! do not use the flat and fitted sheets at the same time or you will spend all day trying to get them to stay on the bed. satin fitted sheet + satin flat sheet = you wrestling to keep the sheet from falling off the bed...you will lose and find it on the floor in the morning. they make a nice accent to the bedding when used with cotton sheets

Pretty but slippery
 from NY,  Sep 15, 2010

I love how the sheets look and feel. My boyfriend hates them because he literally slides off my bed. My blankets also slides off.

Decent for price
 from NY,  Jul 23, 2010

Have had these a few months now. They aren't the greatest, but could do a lot worse for the price. They seem a little thin. I've washed them a number of times and they are still holding up, so they can't be too bad.

I am happy with the sheets. The material is not super high-quality, but for the price I am still happy with the purchase. The color in the photo is accurate.

Good Value
 from Chicago,  Mar 2, 2010

These are not super luxurious satin sheets. They are a great starter set to see if you like Satin sheets or not. They are a great value buy to test and if you like sleeping on satin i would suggest an upgrade.

good for the money
 from Littlestown,PA,  Feb 25, 2010

This is a great set for a small amount of cash. The price is so low I didn't expect the quality to be this good, but it is. We bought a king set and the size is great, it fits into the "this has room to shrink and still fit the mattress " area. I washed them and the soft shimmering material became even softer!

Love the sheets!
 from Texarkana,  Feb 24, 2010

I got these sheets because my husband always complains about how some sheets aren't soft enough. So I bought these per his request, thinking they would be a waste of money and WOW I was blown away. They are awesome, so soft and comfortable! We turned the sheet so the silky side is down because the other side of the sheet is very rough, that is the only down side

i had these sheets my bed last week and it wasn't freezing when i climbed in.. which is saying a lot when you live in colorado, its snowing outside and you leave the window cracked all day. i really like these sheets but it's weird sliding around sometimes. and i find it harder to make up the bed neatly.

Satin Sheet Set
from Fort Myers, FL,  Feb 22, 2010

I purchased these sheets on a whim, and not really to use as an every day sheet set, but more as entertainment. For the purpose of entertainment they're definitely good, as they are soft and satiny, but they're quite impractical for daily use. Satin-on-satin is a recipe for all of your blankets landing on the floor, so if you're looking for daily sheets I'd go in another direction. If you're after fun sheets for a romantic evening or the like, then these are a good value for the price.
