I bought a set of these satin sheets in red, queen size. I'd never owned satin sheets before, and I always thought they would be wonderfully slippery and bring a more romantic look and feel to the bedroom. They do look great on the bed. But what I discovered is that satin in theory is much better than satin in practice. They're so slippery that you have to clutch your comforter when you turn over at night because it will tend to slide over the sheets and off your bed. Same with your pillow. The other thing I discovered is that if you dry the sheets with a load of laundry, they wrap themselves around other clothing, wadding up clothes into a large, damp ball inside the fitted or flat sheet. This has happened both times I washed and dried the satin sheets. You have to extract the ball of laundry from the sheets and dry it separately.I gave the sheets four stars across the board because there's nothing wrong with them as far as look or quality. If you already love satin sheets, these are a good buy. But I won't ever be buying satin sheets again. They just don't live up to their romanticized idea.

I was FOUR HOURS late to work today. Literally. I have never had sheets that made me want to stay in bed this bad. I recently decided I wanted nice sheets and came to the conclusion silk was the best option for what I like; until I saw the prices on quality silk :o With that being said I looked for other options (I don't like heavy cotton) and I came across these. I LOVE them! I washed them before my first you and they came out even softer! No rips, tears or snags! I highly recommend.

This is a very pretty set, it is thicker than other satin sheets I have bought in the past, which is nice. I didnt have any snagging on them, which sometimes happens with satin sheets. The only thing about satin sheets is, you cannot use the top and bottom sheet together, because everything slides around! This set is definitely a good value though!

These sheets are very nice and feel great on your skin. They are difficult to tuck in though and they don't like to stay tucked in either, very slippery!

We love these sheets, they look rich and are very cool to the touch through out the nights sleep. The only downfalls are: obviously very slippery which we don't mind, kinda fun actually! Also the slippery-ness of the sheets makes the bed really easy to make in the morning. The other thing is if you have a rough nail or skin it will kinda snag the sheets. I just make sure to use lotion on my feet. Soft skin is better anyway!

I would never purchase anything like this online again.I would rather go to a store and see the quality.I'haven't had good luck buying like this,so I guess I wouldn't do it again.

We are now using the black set of satin sheets. One thing about satin sheets. I put shiny side to shiny side when making the bed and that seems to keep the other bedding from sliding off the bed. We have deep pocketed beds and there is plenty of room for the bottom sheets to be fitted to the mattresses. I did one washing of the gold sheets and they came out fine in the washer and the dryer. I did take them out when they were dry before the other cloths. We are very satisfied with them. No tears or rips noted after washing.

I have had these a while now and they have gone through the wash at least a half dozen times. Absolutely no issues with these and I was extremely worried that with my dog jumping on the bed they would get snagged. I have had similar sheets in the past that were ruined just from me having a rough heel and that hasn't happened either. I am thinking about getting another color and also getting some for the spare room. Some people complain that the sheets shift too much but that is going to happen with any satin sheet. It is a small price to pay for the comfort.

I was not sure about ordering these do to past reviews but i have a deep mattress and if anything these sheets are a bit big . beutifull color . so soft .

The satin sheet set is extremely comfortable and light. A great bargain for the price. My only question is how long they last - but at that price if they last a couple years still a great bargain.

As a long time fan of satin sheets I must say, "These sheets are nice." The color (ivory) was spot on and they washed nicely {cold water). I am always surprised that my order gets here so quickly. Very happy with this purchase.

At first I really loved these sheets. They were soft and nice to sleep on, however after only two washes the fabric had little balls on it as if they were older and used more then just a few times. Now they are uncomfortable to lay on because of the rough texture on your skin. Don't think I washed them in a way that would cause this, they just don't wash well.

i like how the sheets look and feel. i got the red set and it looks elegant and sexy. it didn't make it to "excellent" in my rating because it is very slippery like many other reviews said. it easily falls off the bed.
