Satin Down Alternative Pleated Comforter and Sham Set

After reading some of the reviews and finding out the sage green was more an apple green, I decided to buy the taupe set. I really liked and wanted a sage green but definitely did not want an apple green color. I'll never know if I would have liked the sage green, but I know I love the taupe. It's just beautiful. It's actually pleated - that stripy look in the picture I thought was just a pattern on the fabric. But no, it's actually pleats. The effect is very classy. And underneath, the microsuede is extremely soft. We bought a king size, and the only drawback is that it doesn't come very far down on the sides. You can actually see a little bit of the top mattress. I would have expected a duvet to at least cover the top mattress. But it's not worth returning. I don't think I could find something as beautiful for such a great value, esp in king size.

Light, comfortable, a little bit of "crinkly " noise when you move it, but not enough to disturb any but the lightest sleepers. Light but warm, should be good for any season. Blue color is a little lighter than it looks in the photo, a rich but light periwinkle blue. One big problem that makes it less of a value despite low, low price....DRY CLEAN ONLY. I now face the decision of paying as much for cleaning a few times than I paid for the thing in the first place---or risking ruining it in the washer. I'm HOPING the drycleaning requirement is just because of the pleats, and am willing to risk losing them, but hope the fabric and filling are able to survive the washer--can't afford to go to drycleaner every time with this comforter.

This comforter has an expensive appearance, most of all it is very comfortable. I t does not slide off the bed while in use and the pleats are perfectly pleated. The stitching is solid. This comforter is beautiful, comfortable and very pleasing to look at.

I would absolutely recommend this product. It is gorgeous on my bed and the comfort level is awesome. I plan on purchasing 2 more for family members who were drooling over it on the first day I laid it out on my bed. The microfiber side is divine and my little ones love to curl up in it. Even my toddler who is extremely devoted to her blanky will sleep with this one. The funniest fan of my new set is my Yorkshire Terrier Abby! She drives me nuts burroughing in it all night long.
