First thing I did was wash these sheets in cold water. I put them in the dryer using extra low heat and they came out un-wrinkled and were equally as soft as some 600TC sheets I have purchased in the past. The trick to sheets coming out of the dryer un-wrinkled is using cold water and extra low heat.....high heat wrinkles them badly. I have arthritis in my hands and trying to get a fitted sheet over my tall pillowtop mattress has been a chore for a long time. FINALLY a sheet that is generous and easy to put on without hurting my hands. I am sold on these sheets and believe anyone who tried them would love them as much. The pillowcases are generous and the top sheet is finally long enough to tuck in with some to spare! Generous in length and width. I am definitely going to order another set!
very heavy fabric with genuine deep pockets! Wash and dry beautifully-fabric wrinkles a lot in the dryer, but this is common I think, for high quality cotton fabric. I don't care about the wrinkles. I would definitely order more of these sheets in other colors in the future!
The quality of these sheets is very poor. They are thin and wrinkle and feel unpleasant against the skin. Also, I ordered the steel blue and the sheets are actually gray with no evidence of blue. When I initiated a return I found out I had to pay over $10.00 in shipping to return them. Stay away from these sheets!
I ordered these sheets, received them and washed them, obviously, before putting on my bed. One of the pillow cases fell apart and the sheets are very flimsy. Now my washer is a top of the line front loading Samsung. Washer is not the issue. Anyway, I called Overstock about eh sheets the day after I received and washed them to learn that they "normally do not take returns once an item has been washed"; however, "they would make this one time exception". Wow! Who orders sheets and places them on a bed without washing them first? I am happy that they are taking the return but that is poor service especially for an item that would require washing before using.
I have a pillow top mattress with a 4 inch memory foam topper. This says deep pocket, but it wasn't deep enough for my mattress. I washed the sheets, put them on the bed. Corners were a little snug. The next morning the seam on one corner had come all the way undone. Called Overstock and they were great - said to send them back. Went to take them off the bed and after two nights of use, there was pilling at the bottom of the sheets.
Awful!! I ordered these because of the good reviews this product has had. They could not be further from the truth, or I got a bad set. I have a Temper Pedic mattress. Anyone who has one knows how hard it is to get sheets that fit and do not come off. I washed them as recommended and placed them on the bed. They were a little tight but I thought that because they had just come out of the dryer they would be fine. There is a large pull on one of the pillow cases that looks like the fibers have stretched out that I did not notice until the next day. The sheets pulled up on the corner after a night of sleeping. I went to put them back on and the corner of the seam tore. I was not forcing it and there should be no problem fitting my bed because they are supposed to be 23" deep. They are deep but the quality is terrible. I thought they were a bit thin but figured they would be ok. I should have returned them the minute I received them. I am sending them back and buying something else. Disappointed and angry at how much it is going to cost to return them...$9.60 plus I paid for shipping to me. DO NOT BUY!!!
These are the cheapest, thinnest sheets I have ever seen. After just a few days, the pillard up and felt disgusting. This has been a most horrible and disappointing shopping experience and would never ever recommend anyone purchasing sheets from Overstock.com.
I love these sheets - super soft, do not pill and fit perfectly on my bed. Even with dogs that stain sheets from time to time these are easy to clean, hold up well and most importantly do not pill. I've also noticed these sheets do not make me hot or itch which is fantastic.
Am contemplating a second set. Lovely soft color...think it's a pale sand. Finally a sheet that actually fits my bed and whose elastic is encased , rather than sewn on and actually feels stretchy. Tucked in and stays in, also the top sheet is wider than regular sheets, so if you want to tuck it in., too, you can. Wash well, no pilling so far. Wash cold, learned that lesson the hard way.
I would not recommend these sheet sets to anyone. I ordered 2 sets a King and Queen, the King set arrived, I took it out of its package and washed it before putting on the bed. The top sheet can be used as a tent, I have no idea why it needs to be this large it hangs almost to the floor. The finish of the sheets is close to sand paper not smooth or soft and make for a uncomfortable nights sleep. I plan to return both sets and would not recommend them.
We were so excited to get these sheets. They are very soft. Problem is the stitching is falling apart, and I mean whole sections after just three washings. I wash in cold, low heat to dry. The only conclusion is the quality is just not good. Very disappointed.
Over a year ago I ordered sheets from Overstock and LOVED them so much I saved the email confirmation so I could reorder the exact same thing. I did so, except in a different color. I loved that they were oversized, were stretchy all the way around, and felt rather thick and substantial. The sheets that came were oversized, have the elastic all the way around, fit the bed easily, but are VERY thin and flimsy feeling....not at all like the cotton in the first set I bought. I decided to keep these sheets but I would not order them again. I feel I did not get what I ordered! The color is much more gray than blue, by the way.
I bought Egyption cotton duvet covers and sheet sets from Overstock before and I absolutely love them! But not these poor quality sheets. I am not so picky and I knew the price was good...But I am still seriously disappointed with these sateen sheets with what I paid. They are flimsy, and piled so much after first wash, it feels very rough and uncomfortable to sleep on. I am ordering new sheets and willing to pay more, so that I do no have to throw them away and waste my money.
After owning these sheets for 5 months I can say that I'm not pleased with having to mend the corner seams on the fitted sheet. They have been washed at least 6 times per mfg instructions and each time we put them on the bed I find another seam that has split. There are also some areas showing wear in the foot area of the fitted sheet - almost like the weave of the fabric was poor.
