The quality of the towels I'm sure are great but appeared thicker so I apologize for returning them but have used my credit already! Thank you for standing by your customers like me who is a new Customer to you! Thank you for your prompt credit! Sincerely!Read More
The towels were very nice and soft at first but after a few washes they aren't very soft.Read More
I was skeptical at first because they looked different than what I was expecting. Had going on a year now and still just as bright & white as day one. Been washed a zillion times and haven't lost their "fluff"!Read More
I married a woman who views bright orange as a neutral color. Thus, these towels were a must-have gift for her. They are somewhat thinner than I expected, but they absorb a lot of water, and dry out fairly quickly. They don't feel as luxurious as our other towels, but they sure are orange!Read More
Wonderful towels, and a fabulous bargain. I am a cotton fiend, critical in the extreme, but these towels are as promised, in fact they're better than expected, and that is the best review I can give about anything I buy. Some advice about the care of Turkish Towels -- when you get them, if you want them to be all they can be, you need to soak them. I have a front loader, so use my laundry wash basin filled with tepid water and one cup of white vinegar. I shake out the towels, and in they go. I soak them for 24 hours, this removes any finish or chemicals from your new towels, and assures they will be as absorbent as possible. After their soak, I drain and push the water out, then wash on delicate cycle. In their first wash, cold is fine, warm afterward, and never use hot water on good cotton, regardless of what you read. I use a LITTLE liquid ****** laundry soap -- liquid laundry soaps are superior to powder in hard water -- then I double rinse, and dry on delicate, never hot. If you really want fabulous, line dry. I know that's not very realistic though. NO FABRIC SOFTENER EVER! NO FABRIC SOFTENER SHEETS EVER! Softener will ruin these towels. Wash normally after this first treatment, but know that harsh detergents are never a good idea with cotton. All good cotton towel producers instruct to use 1 cup of white vinegar in the rinse rinse cycle, so try to remember to do so at least every six washes, as that removes any detergent build-up. Some people recommend bleach, and I imagine my towels shrieking at the thought, instead of bleach, please use 1 cup of PEROXIDE in the wash cycle when/if your towels look dingy. And a few words about peroxide, use it to boost any cleaner, it's a miracle on any stubborn stains, as well it's non-toxic. Lastly, if you notice the hems of your towels are a bit tight, a little tugging (blocking) sets that right, and clip any loose threads or pulls right away. PS Thank you to the manufacturer for the quality, and to the seller for the bargain price. :)Read More
After I purchased Salbakos Cambridge towels, I also wanted to try for our summer house less expensive Arsenal sets…..They really are incredibly nice, absorbent. But, compared to other towels, they are less thick. We have been so pleased with these towels. They dry very quickly and stay fresh-smelling between uses. I use them for 3-4 weeks. Kids like the Italian size of bath towels. Less laundry is good for wallet and environment.Read More
There is no need to ever look further for another towel. The Arsenal (Cambridge and different lines/types) of towels at their site, makes them easily accessible to all. BEST TOWEL IN THE MARKET! LOVE THEM-thank you.Read More
I ordered this set of towels based on all the positive reviews and was very surprised to find runs in the weave, loose threads, etc. even before they were used. Hoping this was an aberration, I called and a replacement set was sent out, but the same was true for these as well. I am very disappointed and plan to return these too -- why should a new set of towels already be falling apart? I can't even comment on how well they absorb water.Read More
I love these towels! They are exactly as described. Although not super thick you can tell they are very good quality. I bought these for my children who struglgle with really thick or large towels so these were perfect. It's summer here in Australia so we tend to hang our towels outside to dry after washing and these have still remained soft. I've only put them in the dryer once so not sure how they will hold up but most reviewers give positive feedback. Turkish cotton is suppose to be durable and long lasting so I think these are extremely well priced for the quality and I plan to buy more. I always add a little oxygen powder to my whites and towels have been fine so far. Also we have had very little lint from washing them (certainly no more than any other towels). When I bought these I also ordered organic towels plus a hotel and spa set. I was happy with the organic towels but disappointed with hotel set. There were so many threads loose and they cost more than this 8 piece arsenal set. I wish I had bought 2 of these instead!Read More
We have gone to white linens. It's just easiest. So when I saw this deal on towels, I had to jump! They are well made and very absorbent. The only issue I have with the product is the amount of lint these towels produce -- I could have woven another SET of towels from what was in my lint trap after the first washing . . . and it's only a bit less now, after several washings. Additionally, they "shed." I wondered why my husband was picking "fuzz" out of my hair . . .and then realized it was from the towels. I bought white towels for ease of cleaning and hoping for a well-made and absorbent towel -- I got that. If you don't mind lint and fuzz,, these towels are for you!Read More

Bath Sheets vs Bath Towels
Most bathroom decorators are accustomed to purchasing conventionally sized bath towels. Standard-sized bath towels are usually included as part of a set. Buying a set is often easier on the pocketbook, and there's no need to worry if your bath towels will match your hand towels and wash cloths. Don't scrub the notion of incorporating bath sheets into your bathroom sets, however. Bath sheets, due to their size and volume, add considerable luxury whenever you step outside of the shower or tub.
