I have been using canvas shower curtains for years, because they don't billow into the shower stall like vinyl, cutting into your space. But I have previously paid $50 -$60 for them, so this was a great bargain. The pattern is a soft sage green, very pretty. The background is not as light as it appears in the picture, more of a natural fiber color, like muslin, with a slight yellowish tone. My bathroom tile is a cream color and it looks fine. The tag on the curtain says "dry clean only" but I plan to wash mine. I have always washed by canvas shower curtains with a little bleach and will probably do the same with this one. Over time, the canvas becomes whiter. The curtain fabric has good weight to it and hangs nicely. The top is reinforced with vinyl along the grommets, which helps it to hang crisply on the hooks. I recommend this curtain to anyone who hasn't tried canvas before, and if you already love canvas, you'll like this one. Much prettier than the plain curtains I had been able to get before.

I like the look (casual) and weight of the curtain. The reason I did not give it a 5 is because dry cleaning is recommended. I'm sure if I had noted this prior to ordering I would not have ordered. However, it worked perfectly in my bathroom so decided to keep it, although I really really doubt I will ever have it dry cleaned! ( I will have to wait to see how it hold up to gentle washing before I actually know if I would recommend to a friend) Shipping & delivery were prompt and I am sure it will not be my last order from Overstock.

I ordered this shower curtain thinking it was a white or cream background. I will be sending it back because it's darker then cream so it won't fit in my bathroom. But it's great quality. Very durable looking canvas. It's a very casual shower curtain. I would keep it if that's the look I was going for.
