This blanket is awesome. We had purchased another type of blanket last year that only lasted one year and it never really did get very warm. The first night that my husband and I used this blanket, it was absolutely wonderful. We turned the blanket on about 30 minutes prior to going to bed and when we crawled in, it was so nice and warm. It stays warm too. We have to remember to turn it down before going to sleep. The automatic shut off feature is a definite plus. The material is comfortable and we can't feel the wires through the blanket. I will definitely buy this blanket again especially for our family and freinds.

I purchased this in August of 2008 and waited to actually have some history with the item before passing judgement. My first impression was that (as advertised) the blanket was soft and snuggly, and the wires were more flexible compared to the many other electric blankets I've owned . While the wires become more visible as the blanket surface compresses (from sitting or laying on on top of it, I really can't feel their presence. I have since machine washed and finish dried ( partially air-dried in nice weather on my lawn, then machine dried on low for 15 to 20 minutes)at least three times, and it looks and functions like new. No pilling. No shrinkage. Warms beautifully. Good range of temperature. Up-right controls are easy to see use and find in sleepy confusion.

This is the softest electric blanket I've ever owned. It heats up fast. The controls are solid and easy to manage. Recommend highly!

This is one of many warming blankets I have purchased over the years and I have to say that this one is the softest and warmest I have used. The controls are great. You just plug in a control for each side of the bed and turn it on. No hassles with extra wires, making sure the right control is on the right side, etc. It warms up very quickly so it's nice to get into a warm bed now that the nights are cooler. I haven't washed it yet and am a little concerned as to how well it will hold up. Otherwise, a great deal.

This blanket was a real bargain. It washed up wonderfully, and is soft and comfortable. The color is beautiful. Love the way you can set it to warm up the bed before you get it. Would recommend purchasing it to anyone.

I have had many electric blankets and needed to purchase a new one. I decided to purchase this one because of the great reviews. I ordered the ivory one and was surprised at what great quality it was. It works well and isn't as heavy and bulky as others. I am very pleased with this item and am thinking of ordering another one for my daughter.

I just started using this blanket-it is so much more like the electric blankets of old where you can actually feel the warmth-It is so comforting that most times I can turn it off after a short period of time and I stay warm under the covers.The blanket could be a little heavier, but this is the best electric blanket I've found in a very long time and the price was extremely reasonable for a queen.

With the cooler evening temperature I decided to use the blanket last night and it was great. I can see that the coming winter nights will be much more tolerable. The dual side controls allow for personal comfort although my dachound wasn't complaining.

This is the first warming blanket Iv'e owned yet. This blanket does not shed lint. . The other brand I had shed a hand full of lint every day and seemed to be all over the house.Plus the controls do not slide off the night stands and are easy to manipulate.

This blanket is sooo soft and sooo;ight weight. It us great for us because my husband likes a very warm temp and I don't. This is the FIRST blanket to make us both happy!

I have been searching for a heated blanket for a gift and found that soo many had horrible reviews. The ones in the local stores were not of quality even the really expensive ones. I know that Royal Velvet is a popular well known name and when I saw this blanket and read all the wonderful reviews I had to order it! When it arrived it was even so much better in person. It is sooo soft and the dual controls are wonderful! The wires are also so small and like someone else said it is nice that the wires do not run all the way to ends and bottom of the blanket so that it can be tucked in. Beautiful blanket and the quality is amazing!

I am so pleased with this warming blanket. It is so wonderfully light and soft. And, because it is mostly cotton, it does not ball into hard little pills. The electronic controls are very efficient and easily seen in the dark. I have dual control queen on a double bed which works perfectly as I leave one side on low temperature and Off on the other so I am never cold or too hot. I love my new warming blanket and you will like yours also.

I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet in cold weather, but it seems to heat up quickly and warm enough for fall use. What I do love is the fabric-I've never before seen one made of cotton, and I've used electric blankets since 1966. It's wonderfully soft and I would highly recommend it for that reason alone.

I ordered the highest cotton percent I could find for my Mother. She asked for cotton electric blanket because "cotton breathes better". She is very pleased with it. She also commented that the buttons are easy to work with. She has neuropathy from cancer treatments, so, this was very important. I would recommend this for anyone, especially those who have older parents that have hand problems.

We are very distsatisfyed with thid product.. After 1 hour it does not warm or heat up. We thought the price was right, but not with no heat.

This blanket is very soft compared to other electric blankets I have had. Dual controls with dual plug ins. All digital with a "bed warming" feature. The fabric seemed a little thin at first - but the wires are well hidden. I've only had it a few weeks - so far I'm a fan.

This blanket was a gift for my Mom. She received it within 2 days of my ordering it and said it was beautiful, very soft and exactly what she wanted.

This blanket is fantastic, and I love all of the features such as the automatic shut off and the controls. It is better then any other blanket I have every had. I would recommend this product to a friend. Excellent value.

How nice to get into a nice warm bed. I like having the bed warm up and not the top. Warm air rises! I only need to turn it on the lowest setting and it keeps me nice and comfy. My cats love it, too.

I bought this for camping because it was so cold at night. I've used it many times, washed it, and love it.
