  i was really excited about this item when i saw it online - i had researched a lot of different mattress pads, pillow tops, etc. i decided on this item - it arrived quickly, on schedule. when i opened the package, i was a little surprised at how thin the item seemed. but i put it on my bed and *i have never slept so well* - i have had it about a week. i really thought that i would need a thicker one, but this has done the trick for me! additionally, there has been no smell from the pad, it fits the bed very well, no problems with slippage. i was additionally concerned that it might make me too warm during sleep (i am a hot sleeper), but temperature hasn't been a problem either! it is winter, so i guess i will really find out when summer time comes. anyway, i love this mattress pad and you might, too. well worth the bucks, and great for both me (who needs lots of cush) and my partner, who didn't want too much loft... it's a good balance.

  Not sure if this was just a fluke, but quality is not super. Some of the colored threads are outside of the design, but very visable. Love the soft foam and the length of this. Looked at hundreds to rugs, but none seemed to be long enough for the length of a double vanity. I am keeping it because outside of the thread issue, it is just what I needed.

  There are a lot of reviews of this, so I will start with a point that no one has yet made. Please take a moment to consider, and even look up the abusive treatment of geese to produce those luxurious down comforters everyone is so hooked on. I dare you to watch a video of it. Now think for a moment of sheep that are made more comfortable through annual shearing--their parasites controlled, the mats removed for the hot summer months. The ancient tradition of using goose down wasn't even similar to the travesty we practice today. I have pet geese, and I won't participate in this cruelty any more, though I've owned countless goose down comforters and pillows over the years in my ignorance. You may be a vegetarian, and I applaud you for it. I am not. I believe in humane use of farm animals. Commercial use in this country is not humane. Now on to the comforter! I wanted to sleep under it in warm weather before reviewing, but then thought I might be waiting a bit, since we live in the mounta...

  Great product for the price!! Gives a firm -tight top mattress the plush feel - the 4" depth allows for NO pressure points. Like floating on a cloud. May be too deep for some that like to feel of the firm base. Then this in a 3" depth would be perfect. This was for an elderly relative who didn't mind the warmth of a non-ventilated product.
