I bought this for my son's birthday; good thing it did not get to us until after his birthday because I didn't like it and I didn't give it to him. I should have read the previous reviews and the description because it is as it says 95% - feathers and 5% - down. You can actually feel the feather stems and they feel like little sticks between the material. This one I'll return.

This thing is the best. Looks great, is soooooo comfortable. You have to wash and dry it to get the shape because it is so compacted when they ship it. But it looks fabulous. You can definitley save on your heating bill with this comforter as it WILL keep you warm. I don't think I will be using it in the summertime but I love it! Warning, I bought the king size for my queen bed because I like them to hang over and this things just fit my queen, so if you buy it for a king size you had better have a fullbedding skirt and all to make up for the shortness.

I read the reviews and decided to buy this product because of the great price, and just got it today, and you get what you pay for, its not super thick, and you can feel the hard feathers. Also I bought a full/queen size and it seems small for the bed, we have a pillow top, so if you also have a pillow top I suggest you get the King size.

I ordered one of these for my dorm back in college. It was quite nice and very warm, so my fiance ordered one, too. The color was great! However, I put mine into a duvet because after my fiance spilled on his we can't find a drycleaner who will try to clean it. I am not one of those people who likes super soft sheets, I prefer starched linen, so the feel was perfect for me. Yet, my sole complaint is that when we recently bought a new house and a king sized bed, I came back to Overstock to order this comforter in king. To my surprise, my order history indicated that the ones we own are supposed to be king sized, which they most certainly are not. However, with us each using our own blankets, we were able to survive through our first Minnesota winter. And I would recommend the king to anyone who has a full or queen sized bed.

I've shopped with overstock for years and this is the first product I have ever thought wasn't of good value. Do not buy.

I bought this in 2007, blue/beige. Still use it regularly. Yes, the feathers will poke you and sometimes end up on the floor. You really can't complain for the price that you pay. Sometimes I use a duvet cover. Sometimes I don't. I like it. But next time, I will get something with a whole lot less feathers, lol!

I ordered this blanket for my husband as he is a trucker here on the East Coast, we tried out this blanket in our bed before having him take it with him, and it did keep us warm through the night. My only complaint is (which agrees with a few other comments I read before buying this comrforter) that it feels a bit stif so when you move in the bed you hear the blanket. Other than that, it's great! My husband was content when he actually used it to sleep on his truck while on the road, it kept him really warm and was able to sleep well with out feeling cold.

This conforter is very good quality. My wife rally likes it, if anyhing its a little too warm for California. The only problem I had with it was that it was the wrong color. I ordered maroon and received blue. I do not like the hassles of returning the merchandise so I kept it anyways. Also, the conforter says "DRY CLEAN ONLY" but my wife washed it before using it and there was no problem.

being a traveling nurse I'm all over the country. different housing every time. my comfort is improtant to me. In the cold weather I'm enduring on this assignment I couldn't be more pleased sleep is of upmost importance to me. with this comforter I'ts warm softer than aanything down I have ever used. I give it an A+.

I bought this for my son who is at school. I got it in a King size for a Queen bed and he loved the extra size. It looks great on his bed and he tells me it keeps him warm. He really loves it and I highly recommend it to you! You will never find a blanket for this price. I think I may purchase another one for my daughter.

A nice addition to my bed. Not too heavy and the colors were exactly as the pictures showed.

The outer fabric on this comforter is like a sleeping bag. You definately don't want it next to your skin.

The fabric is not high quality but for the price I could tolerate that. However, when it accidently got wet, the smell was terrible. It had to be thrown out. I guess the old saying applies: You get what you pay for.

I gave my sister this comforter for Christmas because of the great price and fairly decent reviews. After receiving this blanket I noticed that the color was a bit duller than I'd originally thought, housing a lot of silver tones. (I purchased this blanket in Blue). I didn't open the blanket because of the fact that it was a gift and getting it dirty just wouldn't be fair. I have to say that I wish I did open it before I gave it to her. It feels like the same material as a sleeping bag which is very uncomfortable when you're trying to quietly sleep under something so dag-on noisy. Based on her experience I also know it is no where near as warm as a down comforter should be, and it's also a lot thinner than it looks on the image above. If it's a blanket you want to throw in the car to keep passengers warm on a long drive, go for it. I would not recommend this comforter to anyone looking for warm in their bedroom. Maybe using it as an a top sheet over an existing comforter, but you're never going to get the warmth you're truly looking for without having to add extra blankets to the bed. And that can get pretty darn heavy if you ask me. Buy a real goose down comforter, or even an alternative down. Get yourself a duvet cover to match your color scheme and the rest is gravy.

I am very unhappy with the shell of the comforter. It is not the quality most would expect for a down comforter. The quality is such that it makes like a cheap crackling noise every time you move. I thought maybe after being washed and dryed it would be less obvious but that did not make much difference. The price was good so maybe it goes back to getting what you pay for . I was not satisfied. My young daughter likes it so that is what I have done with it. My husband refused to use it.

It has a lot of quills in it but it is very warm and that is what I got it for.

I bought this for my son at college. He said it is very comfortable and very warm. And, it is lightweight!

Feather and Down Reversible Comforter Shipped quickly, good quality for price.

I purchased this comforter becasue it was reversible. I ordered the burgandy/taupe color. The taupe color is very nice but the burgandy color is dull. The comforter is not very thick a blanket must be used under it to keep you warm enough throughout the night. It is great for a summer comforter but on the chillier nights it's not enough. There was no smell to the item but feathers do poke through. Pet hair and lint easily attract to the comforter. The fabric is like a brushed cotton. It is not rough to the touch but not the best feeling cotton I've felt. I would not purchase this item again. There are nicer quality items available on O for a few more dollars.

My second one purchased. Just love it. Great Quality and good color. Would recommend this product highly. The weight is perfect for all seasons.
