This mattress protector is a good value for the money compared to other types of mattress protectors.The cheapest is the plastic vinyl protector which never sounds or feels like sleeping on a regular mattress. cheap plastic covers feel and sound like sleeping on plastic and they always tear. This protector is a plastic product sprayed on a towel like material and it does not feel or sound like plastic. It is quiet and it does not shift like a plastic mattress cover. I was immediately aware of no plastic sound when sitting and laying in my bed when using this protector. .It is not thick so it fits well under my regular mattress pad and sheets.The protector is held on by a full sized fitted deep pocket netting material with elastic edges.It washes easily in cool water and I line dried it. I am quite satisfied with this product.

I ordered the Rest-A-Sure Mattress Protector after I bought a new mattress and purchased the protector they recommended. It was nice but pricey and I decided to check Overstock.Com to find something similar to go on the other three beds in the house. This mattress protector seems to be identical in features and quality at almost a quarter of the price that I paid for the orginal. I'm very pleased with the protector, we have puppies in the house and one of them christened it almost right away. I was very pleased to note that the mattress itself stayed completely dry and the protector came out of the washer and dryer looking brand new. It has extremely deep pockets and fits easily over the thickest mattresses so that it holds securely in place. I would definitely recommend this mattress protector since I've been able to compare it to a more expensive brand and just can't see why you would pay the extra cost for the same benefits.

My husband and I do not have babies and I am not pregnant, so I wasn't looking for those thick plastic water proof mattress covers. All I wanted was something thin and breathable that is comfortable to sleep on but provides a little bit of water-proofing for my husband who has a tendency to sweat a lot in his sleep. I didn't want to have to worry about our mattress getting gross and stained with sweat, but I didn't want him to be even hotter by the non-breathable kind of protectors. This one served just the purpose! When it arrived I was a bit skeptical. But when I put it over our mattress, and topped it with our usual sheets, I was happy that I didn't feel hot, and it wasn't making any uncomfortable plasticy sounds when we move on the bed. My mind is at ease to feel that the next time he ends up sweating in his sleep, I can just snatch all the bedding along with this mattress protector and wash them all! Now that issue is out of the picture, I am off to hunting for moisture-wicking sheets : )

This is a very nice mattress protector for the price. I chose this over other that are twice the price and I must say that I am completely satisfied.

I take care of a mid-90 year old couple and she experiences some incontinence problems. Her family and I have tried to talk her husband into letting us get adult diapers for her but he has fought this tooth and nail. She was recently hospitalized for pneumonia and after returning home, she wet the bed 4 times in the first 24 hour period. I ordered this mattress pad the very next day and picked up a pack of diapers that day as well. They have a 4 inch foam mattress (also purchased through overstock-another great product) and getting the urine out of it, not to mention the endless washing I had to do, precipitated those purchases. The mattress pad is great with very deep pockets which went right over the mattress and the foam pad with ease. As far as the protection aspect of this product, we may never know because once we put her in the diapers, her husband decided they WERE a great idea after all. It is great to know though we have the protection if needed. Who knows he is 95 and may face the same incontinence problems as well someday. And I'll be prepared!

I bought this item based on the reviews and previous comments. Thanks goodness I listened! This is not a typical mattress protector that is bulky and noisy. This is a very thin and breathable cover and exactly what I was looking for, not a crinkly, padded mattress protector. Another bonus is that it won't take up half your linen closet! I bought four!

Wife says she would have preferred it be a zip-on - this one goes on like a sheet and tucks in the corners. With a Cal-King, a zip-on would be hard to get on and off if you want to wash - just my opinion. Bottom-line - it works....

I PURCHASED THIS COVER TO PROTECT MY NEW MEMORY FOAM MATTRESS. IT IS EXTREMELY THIN. IF YOU HAVE NIGHT SWEATS, IT STICKS TO YOU. THERE IS NOTHING PROTECTING THE PLASTIC ON THE BACK SO THE PLASTIC IS DIRECTLY ON THE MATTRESS. IF I COULD RETURN IT, I WOULD. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

I needed a low cost mattress cover for my daughter's full size futon bed - this was exactly what I wanted. Good price, fits great and we don't hear that "plastic rustling" you can with other types of waterproof covers. I'm hoping to pick up some more for the twin beds in the house - you never know when you should have one in place !!

I think I was a little disappointed. I was expecting something thicker. It is not thick at all, just visualize terry cloth on onside and a water resistant rubberized backing. In addition to that the side is nylon tricot and lenght is very long from top of mattress to the elastic need very thick mattress to fit well. I won't send back but I would have preferred something different. I ordered this based on the reviews so I hope it's durability will hold up to what I thought was a good price.

This mattress protector was a great buy! It easily fit over our pillow top mattress plus a memory foam topper. We don't even know it is there, because there is no crinkle or noise.

This is the best mattress cover I have ever found. The sides are made of a silky material not that weird material that melts in the dryer. I have had this cover for over a year and after many washes and many dryings it has held up great. Would highly recommend.

This is a great mattress pad. It keeps "accidents" my children have from going through to the mattress. As far as I am concerned, it is great for the price!

I personally didnt care for this mattress protector. IT is very thin and loose fitting on the bed. It is waterproof though.

This mattress protector does a great job! I have spilled a lot of things, but my mattress has been spared. This protector is also very deep and accommodates my mattress and a mattress topper with room to spare. Highly recommend.

I've had this for more than a year now and it's just junk. it did not fit the bed very well, it was super loose. and now that the little guy has had accidents in the night, i've seen it was a complete waste of money. it did not REPEL anything except me! it acted like a very thin dishcloth and the liquid soaked right through.
