For the price I couldn't be happier. From the picture I thought the color "Stone" would be silvery, but it is a light tan. I'm a dude and could care less about matching. If you have bulky pillows, the pillow covers are not ideal though.
Ordered this set based on price, it was wll worth it. The striped pattern looks better than the plain pattern. We did wash them first, I left in the dryer too long. I should have taken out slightly damp and then ironed them. But spread out on the living room floor made it easy to iron. The buttons are sewn on good, and do not seem loose at all.
i ordered the teal, which from the pictures online i expected to be a dark teal. it is in fact a very pale and subtle color, which i am very happy with. the only reason i rated it 4 instead of 5 is because of the color fakeout. i have not yet washed it to see how it comes out of the wash, so i can't comment on whether it is wrinkled or smooth. but new, it is very nice and soft, and the striping is classy and also subtle.
I've used this duvet cover for a month now, and wondered how I lived without it. It's everything I wanted in a cover, wonderful color (chocolate), washes well, stay put on bed(no sliding) warm and comfy! I would recommend it to everyone.
NIce product. I ordered white, and it is a nice heavy weight material that feels quality. The duvet cover does wrinkle, but that is to be expected with any cotton product. If you spay it with a light mist of water, you can smooth out the wrinkles.
Nice heavy weight fabric that washed up nicely without any shrinkage. Warm dark chocolate color that coordinates well with the Sage green and brown draperies I already owned. It is a little stiff before the washing, but as to be expected from such a high thread count. Love it- makes a lovely contrast to the drapes and creamy yellow walls.
The buttons that fasten the duvet are very loose; one is actually just dangling by a thread. The duvet cover also had a large patch of clear hardened glue smeared on the upper corner that I was unable to remove, even with a hot iron pressed over a wet cloth. These issues aside, the fabric was nice and soft, and the ivory color just what I was looking for. I am planning to return this one and hopefully exchange for another of better quality.
I received my duvet cover a couple of weeks ago, and I am very very happy with it. The quality of the fabric is excellent, nice to the touch, substantial without being too heavy of a weight. The color was exactly as pictured, and it matches my bedspread perfectly! The quality of the stitching is very nice as well, and I am sure we will enjoy this duvet for many sleeps to come!!
The duvet set feels really great because of the high thread count, but visually not so nice after washing. I had to iron the entire thing which still didnt take out all the wrinkles. Just took it off my bed yesterday and went back to a comforter instead. The duvet idea just didnt work for me. Maybe I washed it wrong. Permanent press really left it terribly wrinkled and still after ironing it wasnt ever perfect.
We are returning this only because of the color. We ordered Cafe because it looked pretty in the pic and ordered some Honey colored sheets to go with it. The Cafe color of this duvet cover is the ugliest mustard/gold color that we have ever seen!! The fabric itself feels absolutely heavenly and am sad we have to return it. Hopefully the rest of you are happy with your purchase.
