These seem very nice and a great price, but the color was not at all what I expected. I ordered Stone which I thought would be the grey-ish taupe color pictured. However it was a deep gold color. I'm still not sure if the grey-ish taupe sheets in the picture are called a different color or if the picture just doesnt depict the true color. Another review had said they ordered Cafe and got a really deep golden color as well, so I'm not sure whats going on with the colors. Aside from that they appear to be very nice and I liked the pattern/quality, but I returned and bought a completely different brand
I think this is a good value for the price and quality. It isn't fabulous, but it is not poor - somewhere above average. My duvet is not as wrinkly as some customers have indicated, after washing and perma press drying. I sewed ties to the corners and to the comforter to hold it all together.
The pale green is a lovely color and the cover and pillow cases have a nice feel. I really like that one side is slightly striped and the other side solid, nice to be able to change it a bit depending on what sheets I have on. My only wish is that it has ties or something on the inside to keep the comforter from moving around and bunching - I know they usually don't but maybe one day....
Ordered the matching sheet & duvet set (Renaissance 600ct) Queen size, ivory color. Received in just 2 days! I have a 90x98 comforter, fits great, no empty or bunched up places. Sham (20x26) fits our fat & firm pillows. I was worried they would be too tight, as our previous shams were. The sheets are ivory, like butter (yellowish), but the duvet is a bit tan, it has a brown tint, so they don't match perfectly. One can barely tell under natural light, I only noticed it at night with the lights on. I admit I don't know how 600ct supposed to feel like. My other sheets are 300ct and in comparison these new ones are truly softer, much denser, heavier. Made in India. 'Wash cold' says the label. (I prefer warm, but ok.) They got very wrinkly after the initial wash & dry. If you like your duvet smooth, prepare for ironing. Stripes on one side, plain on reverse side, both pretty. Have not noticed any wrong sewing, loose buttons, threads, tearing or any similar problems. I think these are good quality sheets, I'd certainly buy them again.
We ordered microfiber sheets (all the rage among teens today) for both our son and daughter, and also the renaissance reversible 600 thread count cotton 3-piece duvet cover set. Both products were exactly as described on the website and arrived quickly. Of course, the price is what sent me to Overstock in the first place, but the quality of the products and the quick delivery will send me back there, next time I need something.
I ordered this product after finding it at Macy's (they did not have the color i wanted). it was so soft and comfortable. i came right to overstock to find it for half the price and cheaper shipping! its been a month now and am just finding i need to refluff it after the duvet sliding a bit. i bought the king size for my king size duvet and it fit perfectly with just a small amount on the sides (about an inch or two). love how easy it was to take on and off and washes without a problem! great product!! its also not too heavy which was something i was looking for, as most covers this time of year are heavy and flannel like. am going to look into the other colors for the future.
I love this duvet cover. It feels as soft as my other 600 thread count cover. The color is beatiful (I got pale green) - bright, as if it has some lime color in it. Shiny stripes look like more expensive bedding and classy. Highly recommend to anyone. And the price is definitely right - you will never find anyhting so good for such a low price in retail. Was delivered promptly, i think 2 days.
For the price I couldn't be happier. From the picture I thought the color "Stone" would be silvery, but it is a light tan. I'm a dude and could care less about matching. If you have bulky pillows, the pillow covers are not ideal though.
Ordered this set based on price, it was wll worth it. The striped pattern looks better than the plain pattern. We did wash them first, I left in the dryer too long. I should have taken out slightly damp and then ironed them. But spread out on the living room floor made it easy to iron. The buttons are sewn on good, and do not seem loose at all.
i ordered the teal, which from the pictures online i expected to be a dark teal. it is in fact a very pale and subtle color, which i am very happy with. the only reason i rated it 4 instead of 5 is because of the color fakeout. i have not yet washed it to see how it comes out of the wash, so i can't comment on whether it is wrinkled or smooth. but new, it is very nice and soft, and the striping is classy and also subtle.
