good old muslin
I love these sheets! The color and print design are really unusual--not geometric, not flowery--but really attractive. They are very soft rather than crisp, and get softer with each washing. If you are really fussy about perfectly smooth hems on top sheet and pillowcases, you would have to iron these, but I'm not that fussy--it's all about softness for me. The only criticism I have is that the pillowcases are a bit skimpy--even an extra half inch on each side would make a difference, because you have to sort of stuff the pillow into the case. If you have large or fat pillows, you would have a problem.

What I liked about the sheet set was the color and pattern. However, the product was described as "sateen" but was not, at least not in texture. It was stiff and did not feel like it was 300 thread count. The real problem was that upon opening the product it reeked of chemical and so I washed the set hoping it would go away and that the texture would soften. Following the instructions I washed in cold water and dried on low heat. It made no difference in the latter. As I fitted the items on my bed I found the flat sheet had a manufacturers stain, one side had a 5" sewing botch, the pillow cases' seams were askew and the fitted sheet barely fit. I have returned the items. Yet to know if Overstock will honor return as the item was opened.

Not so good..
The pattern design is very nice and soothing, but the hand feels is very harsh even after washed.

Seconds with very bad stiching
I will not buy any thing from Overstock again. These should have been designated as seconds, for the price I am very displeased.

Soft sheets in a versatile design
I got these sheets and quickly and they did not disappoint! I love the beige/cream color combo as it is very versatile. The fitted sheet wasn't too big for my mattress which was very important to me. They are soft and a good price for the thread count and quality.

Disappointed
The only good thing about these sheets is that they are soft. I ordered the queen size and the bottom sheet barely fits. The top sheet is not wide enough and after 3 washing they are pilliing already.
