Ordered different sheets but got these! Yeaa! LOL
I had ordered the Hampton 300 Thread Count Printed Stripe Sheet Set in Chocolate. When they didn't arrive after almost two weeks I called and O had them tracked. They showed up a couple days later, but I got these instead. At first I was disappointed, they seemed very stiff, but the color was nice (Mocha) and the pattern was subtle and matched our decor. I washed them and they still felt kind of stiff, but after we slept on them a couple of nights I could tell they were softening. A couple washings later and I love them. Much softer than I would have thought possible considering how they started and the fit is good on our pillow top CA King. Happy mistake for me!

Nice and Soft
I was worried that 300 thread count sheets wouldn't be soft enough, but since these are sateen, I was pleasantly surprised. I got these to go with the duvet comforter set. I love love love these sheets. I washed them as soon as I got them and they are nice and soft. The only con that I have is that the fitted sheet doesn't stay tucked in, but that is probably the way my husband sleeps. I haven't found a fitted sheet yet that will stay tucked in at the corner by his head.

These Sheets feel really good.
I hesitated to purchase the blue sheet set base on the other review. But I already had the tan set and I love how soft they are. I took the chance figuring I could return them. The blue set did seem almost screen printed, but after a couple of washes, they are as soft and comfy as the tan. I love they way they feel and they were a great price.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color was fine, just what I expected.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality seems strange at first sight, like the screenprint mentioned before. However, after a couple of washes, they soften up nicely.

stinky sheets
What isn't clear from the details is that the stripe is painted (silk-screened?) onto the sheets. The paint that is used has a very strong chemical smell that hasn't really lessened after two washings. The sheets are of average quality and I had bought them for their appearance rather than thread count/ quality. If the smell doesn't go away though they will become drop clothes in the garage.
