My husband had his shoulder repaired and He could not lay flat.. This pillow was wonderful.. gave him the support he needed and it was very comfortable..Pillowcase washed up nicely.. I wish it had a higher thread count., but it was still as good feeling to it.. the pillow is a nice touch. It gives good support for your head and it comes off if you don't wish to use it...

I have been using this since 2008 to prop up my pillow when I sleep. The wedge is very firm and works well for me. The white "roll" is velcroed on, and I didn't need it, so I took it off.

Hi, i had a surgery on my nose and needed to sleep on a upward slant,. This is a wonderful affordable solution to what I needed. Also great if you are reading in bed, or have heart burn.....( also vera is alos good for heart burn ) You can aklso stacj another pillow on top of it. Excellent!

This pillow is very comfortable to use to watch tv or read in bed. I'm not sure about sleeping, because it is extremely firm. The little detachable half-round pillow at the top is soft, but the wedge part is not soft at all. That is fine with me, because I didn't buy it as a sleep pillow. I bought it to prop me up, so I could watch tv. The coverings come off to wash. The cover for the wedge is kinda scratchy but the small pillow cover is very soft. You could probably slip the wedge into a generous size pillow case and tuck the end under. I'm very satisfied with the pillow. However, the packaging was terrible. The cardboard box was haphazardly taped, and it was half-open when I received it. If the box had gotten wet, the pillow would have gotten wet. But luckily the pillow inside was ok.

Love to read before I go to sleep at night and couldn't get comfortable until I purchased the Read and Relax bed pillow....! It's great support for the back to read and even use the neckroll along with my regular pillow when I sleep. Just love it!!!!!!!

I bought this product because I read in bed a lot (which is bad for sleep I know).... anyway, I have an old shoulder/neck injury that is exacerbated by having my neck crooked up by pillows while lying in bed. The pain had increased severely over the past six months because I home more now and reading more in bed in the evening. I would wake up in the morning with a sore neck and shoulder and it would bother me all day. Out of desperation I bought this wedge pillow, and I have to say it is outstanding! It gives firm support under the mid spine and the neck. I use it with one soft pillow on top and it makes a perfect angle to read or use my laptop in bed without getting the neck shoulder pain I once had. In less than two weeks the neck and shoulder were not sore when I awoke in the morning. Great item!

I needed a pillow for TV watching (glasses hard to adjust) and secondarily for reading. This lifts the head nicely and with the addition of another pillow on top works well for TV watching. The down side is the tendency to slip down the pillow because the fabric is slick. All in all it is satisfactory. The pricing is not good as it looks like you could take 50% off and this would be about right for what you get.

i love my wedge pillow, its great for laying in bed reading to helping me get a more decent sleep. before i bought this pillow i was only able to get only 2 hrs of sleep before waking up to pain, now im getting 4hrs of sleep and alot less pain. its very comfortable and i can take it with me to use where ever i go to help me from having more back pain. i would recomend this pillow to anyone who has back and neck problems...

IT's ok. Needs to be a bit more memory foam and less rigid. Angle needs to decrease.

Nope, this is not working. I bought this pillow for my husband who is a champion snorer and who likes to watch TV in bed before sleeping. He says the problem with this pillow is that he rolls off it after he falls asleep. We are still searching for a pillow with supportive sides which will prevent him from rolling right off the slant because that is the only way to prevent the snoring and apnea he has when he lies flat.

I found this item to be disappointing. While the fabric was soft, the slant of the wedge made sleeping unconfortable. I ended up disposing of the wedge and using the pillow part under my existing pillow. I also put the top of my bed on bricks (as recommended by my doctor). The bricks and pillow top seem to be working well.

I received this recently and it has been great. I wanted to prop up and watch tv and read in bed. No reflux probs but, it would be great for that. Having a cover and extra velcro pillow attached is good feature. I rated 4 stars..It is hard foam so, I have an extra small pillow on top. I researched and it is more costly on other medical websites. This was my second purchase from Overstock so I rated 5 stars for value. I could not find anything else that would compare..and Overstock shipped so quick and got a deal on free shipping. Gotta Love Overstock.com

This pillow has allowed me to finally get a good night sleep. I have had serious surgery and in addition have sinus problems that make it difficult for me to get a good might sleep. This pillow has changed everything. It is comfortable and very well made. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to sleep in an elevated position.

Although I love this wedge and pillow, and it's been a boon, I was disappointed with how much unraveling the seams did in the wash on the covers, when I washed them the first time. Made a mess, with threads going all over, and tangled together, though it did not go into the seam proper. I would recommend washing on delicate cycle, which might avoid this.

I LOVE THIS THING! I AM 52 YEARS OLD AND SUFFER FROM CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE WHICH CAN MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE DROWNING AT NIGHT. I purchased this because of a recent illness that keeps me in be approximatly 90% of the time. I needed the added support for when I sit-up and read, work on the laptop (like right now) or watch a DVD (again, on the laptop). This is a nice solution. I've had pillows like this in the past. What makes this product different is the "half" round pillow is attached by velcro, so you can detach it if you don't need the lower back/lumbar support and want to use it elsewhere. This "half" round pillow is covered in some amazing fabric that is so soft. I actually use this pillow more often for head and neck support than lower back. If you are on bed rest for any reason - illness, pregnancy, hospice - this is a must have for your room. And, of course, if you just enjoy sitting up in bed to read or watch T.V, this is a must have for any bedroom. One final note, this was the first time I had used the Overstock Customer Service Rep in the "instance message" mode - VERY HELPFUL. My customer service rep helped me decided on different solution for my various needs in my bedroom (this pillow and a new mattress). If you've never engaged in the process, try it. You are actually IMing with a person, not software designed for such a purpose. I've used Overstock since 2000 and recommend it to all of my friends.
