Rayon Bamboo not good for sheets
from Port Townsend, WA,  Nov 30, 2010

Suddenly we are told that bamboo sheets are amazingly: just wonderful! Luxurious, silky and eco-friendly too! Well worth paying a bit more money? NO! Rayon is rayon, bamboo or otherwise, and is a lousy choice for bed linen. That silky feel will NOT hold up more than a few weeks. You will quickly notice the texture of the fabric change & roughen. On sheets, you will notice it first where your feet & legs move around. Rayon does not hold up under abrasion, the fine threads break and pill. After only a couple of months, my once silky sheets feel rough & unpleasant, and have lost that nice sheen... The lesson is that companies will try to sell anything, whether it makes any sense or not. Bamboo rayon makes lousy bed linen, and I don't recommend it for washcloths that get much use either!

Excellent
 from Florida,  Oct 23, 2010

Excellent and soft. I'm notoriously picky about, well, everything and I like these sheets a lot. I've had these sheets for several months now and there has been absolutely no pilling. That's probably one of my biggest pet peeves about many materials. I wish I would have bought this in white though. The blue is very pretty but I think I'd be able to match white or the tan color with more (the blue is true to the picture). Paying more is always a drag, but I know that I tend to keep buying more and more things to compensate for what I want, so this is cheaper and nicer in the long run. Save yourself from having to stress about being in scratchy or uncomfortable sheets and get what you really want :)

Pretty Good Sheets
from New York,  May 1, 2009

I really do like my sheets. They are a nice pale shade of blue, and have a bit of silkiness about them. I was a little taken aback when I read "100% Rayon" on the tag, but I suppose rayon must be made from bamboo. For the price, I feel like I got a fair deal.

Soft and Comfortable
from new york,  Mar 6, 2009

Really lovely sheet set, They fit well and have room to spare. This is a great price for 100% bamboo sheets, if you research the prices, you can't beat Overstock. The package says 250 thread count, as I am used to much higher counts, these are perfect. I can't believe the thread count is this low. I ordered the Hemp, and they are a Vanilla color, which still works in my bedroom but I was expecting something a bit darker. Do not hesitate to purchase these.....

Really soft sheets
from West Harrison, IN,  Apr 9, 2011

These are the softest sheets ever and have a cooling effect to them. This is the second set that I have purchased. This set was for a guest bedroom. They do wrinkle unless you take them right out of the dryer and put them on the bed right away, but once you sleep on these sheets, you will not go back to regular cotton sheets.

Most Comfortable!
 from Chicago,  Feb 15, 2011

These are the most comfortable sheets ever! Way more soft and comfortable, and breathable, than the 1000 thread count sheets I have. They are a little lighter weight, but seriously the most comfortable and softest sheets you'll ever sleep on!

Nice Product
 from Oklahoma,  Nov 27, 2010

These sheets are very soft and very nice. Yes there was a some lint (but not an excessive amount) in the dryer filter after I washed/dried them but I consider that normal just like when washing some other new fabrics the first time.

2nd Set!
from San Francisco, CA,  Nov 6, 2009

I purchased a set of these in the Spring when because I knew I'd be spending a lot of time in bed while undergoing chemotherapy. They were so soft and fabulous. Now that I'm done with chemo, I put a different set of sheets (600 thread count) on my bed while these were in the laundry. I couldn't stand them! So I bought a second set and still love them. They do wrinkle a bit, but I've found that if I use the Permanent Press cycle on my dryer and get them out right away, they don't wrinkle nearly as much. I'll never go back to cotton sheets - bamboo for me from now on!!

Excellent Product
 from Houston,  Mar 1, 2009

This is my third set of bamboo sheets from Overstock and I would highly recommend them. They are nicer in feel than any of my 800 count sheets and are so soft to touch. I called a couple of friends and they have now ordered them also and feel the same about them as I do. So much cheaper than 800-1000 count sheets. I only wish there were extra pillow cases to order.

Good not great
 from Kailua-Kona, HI,  Oct 18, 2010

I bought these based on other reviewers saying they are cool. Bought them mostly for hubby who is too warm at night, and he is happy with them. They are a bit slippery, don't stay on the bed as well as cotton sheets. Size is fine, better a bit large than too small. They fit my fairly new and rather thick mattress easily. They are soft, which is nice, but if you prefer crisp sheets, as I do, these might not be the sheets for you. Now if only Overstock would ship things like this to Hawaii and I would not have to ship them to friends on the mainland to hold for my next visit....sigh.

Quality Sheets!
 from Gainesville,Fl,  Sep 23, 2010

I am very pleased with how these sheets feel and perform. They feel cool and smooth against my skin. It pays to buy better quality bamboo sheets. I wash them in cold water on gentle cycle and dry them on low heat. They also do not pill. I am more pleased with these sheets than any cotton ones I've owed.

Soft But Pricey
from elko, NV,  Sep 18, 2010

The Bamboo sheets are soft and silky, WAY too pricey for the quality. With only 250 tread count, not a do over.

Lucky Bamboo
from Atlanta, GA,  Sep 18, 2010

I had bamboo sheets on my bed before and always washed them and put them back on. After a couple of years, of course, they wore out. So I was very happy to find these. They are as wonderful as others have described. They wash beautifully and feel silky. My only disappointment was that the "white" that I ordered was not a bright white. It is more into creme.

Love love
from Wichita Ks,  Aug 24, 2010

I absolutely love these sheets. My boyfriend loves them too. They are not as hot as the 1200 count sheets we previously had and I'm not as concerned with wrinkles in my bed sheets. They are soft and very comfy to sleep on.

bamboo sheets
 from WV,  Aug 24, 2010

I love the feel of the sheets....they are smooth and cool....but overall I do not like the material. Being Queen sized they are hard to put on the mattress...it is like working with parachute material. And they wrinkle easily.......the wrinkles do come out in the wash but still it doesn't make for a nice looking bed in the meantime if you want to leave the covers turned back.
