It's not a heavy-weight material but it is just the right weight for cool to cold evenings. It feels good to the touch. The quilt is convertible but I like the side with the large 'flowers'. The colors make the white background 'pop'. I like it.

I purchased this quilt to replace a similar one we'd had for several years. Comparing the 2 quilts: The weight and quality of both quilts are excellent. The main difference is the price. The previous quilt had cost me almost double what this quilt did! FYI: The colors on this quilt are a bit brighter than they appear in the picture ( but they are very pretty) and I love that it is reversible to various shades of blue. We have a king-size bed, and the king-size quilt was plenty big. I'm really pleased with both the quality and value.

The fabric wasn't very soft and the color of the shams and quilt itself didn't match up, shams were darker. Also I have a queen bed and it was way too short on the sides and bottom. I put it on my daughter's full size bed and she is fine with it. If she didn't want it, I would have returned it.

I am so pleased with this! The price was great, it arrived in only 5 days, and it's lovely. I took my time before ordering and read all the reviews. Although there were a few negatives, I took a chance because most were favorable, and I'm glad I did. I'd like to address a few of the comments: One reviewer said that the bedspread seemed to be "cheap". Well, yes, the price is pretty cheap ($** for king size). But as far as the quality, it is well made. Perhaps she said that because it is thin, but I was not looking for a heavy or thick cover. I live in a warm climate, and on the rare occasions that I need more warmth, I can put a blanket underneath. Quite a few people said their shams didn't match. However, most of those were from a couple of years back, and I was hoping the company had resolved that issue by now. Also, one reviewer said she returned hers because of that problem, and received a matched set in return. So I took a chance, figuring I could return it; when it came in, that was the first thing I checked, but they were perfectly matched. The colors are true to the picture; it's very neutral and could go with nearly any color scheme if you add a couple throw pillows. The pattern is intricate, almost Moroccan. It's a great choice for a married couple, because the overall look is a little bit feminine (with sort of a flowery print) and a little bit masculine in the geometric pattern. I would definitely recommend this!

This quilt is perfect for the early Spring. It makes my bedroom look like a floral garden. Of course it is stored right now to be resurrected in a few months.

I bought this product looking to buy a quilt set instead of another comforter set to avoid any fluff bunching inside after washing. When it arrived, I opened it and immediately discovered it was not even close to being a quilt. It had fluff inside, and the quality of the fabric was awful. I returned it the next day.

A few years I talked a friend to get this bedding she and I both loved it. I have since got this set for my bed. Only 2 complaints. 1. Full and Queen bedding are 2 totally different sizes therefore I'm not of F/Q. If the sizing on this set was correct u would not need a dust ruffle. ( I bought a quilt set a couple years back from here and the quilt was oversized. I totally love the size of it. I wish it were the same on this set,but I loved it enough to overlook it.. 2.When this set first came out it came with the sheet set. I am so bummed that u cannot find the sheets anyplace to match. My overall feel is that I am hooked on this style. I think the price is fair and Quality is above average.

This is my 2nd quilt set from Overstock, and it's another GREAT addition to my home. I purchased the Soho Quilt for my guest bedroom. I wanted something more neutral go do with the khaki green walls and dark furniture. The colors in this quilt are neutral enough to really go with any color scheme - a gray/slate blue, a warmer greenish gray, white, and pale yellow. Some of the reviewers have not been thrilled about the yellow - however, I think that because it's such pale yellow, it's really more like a dark ivory. The quality is great - it's the prefect lightweight quilt to go over the top of a down comforter in the winter, and use alone in the summer. I would definitely recommend this quilt!

This is a nice quilt, but I am giving it 4 stars rather than 5 because the colors are not as deep as I would have liked - they look a little muted or faded. .

I love this quilt. It is light weight but perfect for me. The colors are very rich and bright. It's oversized so it's perfect for a deep mattress.

This quilt is of high quality and has very generous proportions on my low profile queen bed. The stripes have more navy than I was expecting from the picture, but it is very attractive and fits my needs. I was sent the wrong quilt set but Overstock quickly sent me the correct set. They even expedited the shipping since I had some time constraints. Overall I am very pleased with the quilt. Overstock has great customer service.

I have two dogs and I've washed this quilt twice since I've had it...easily fits into regular washer and dryer....Excellent colors for my decor, pillow are very full and tight not like most bedding ensambles. I am 110% pleased with my purchase. Perfect weight for just the right amount of heat retention, but still breathes.

This is an outstandingly beautiful quilt, just as displayed. I laundered it and it washed and dried in the dryer beautifully, coming up soft and lofty and wonderful. The fabric is lovely, in both look and feel. And the price was terrific for so nice a quilt/sham set. I highly recommend this product.

Quilts are more than just bedding: They're also gorgeous pieces of art that can be used to decorate your home. A quilt makes a space seem warm and homey, and it's not hard to learn how to display quilts. By following these steps, you'll be showing off your quilts in no time.
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
