I'm a side sleeper and was having problems with my hands falling asleep while I slept. My shoulders were really giving me grief, so I ordered the thickest mattress topper Overstock had. My topper arrived on Saturday in a relatively small box for a 4" queen size matteress topper. I opened the box, pulled out the plastic wrapped "ball" and placed it on my mattress topper cover. I followed the directions and slowly unrolled the ball to watch the miraculous expansion occur. The two pillows looked like pancakes, but magically expanded to beautiful pillows. The topper is fabulous and fits my queen (sleep by number) mattress like a dream. My hands are now happy as well as my shoulders. I can't wait to sink into that dream cloud every night!

I have the oppertunity to try two brands of memory foam mattress. Premium Memory Foam 4-inch Mattress Topper Serta Ultimate 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper Originally purchased the "Premium Memory Foam 4-inch Mattress Topper" and love the Gel-like matteress and decided to try the Serta for my other bed. I was a bit dissapointed by the foam. I felt more like laying on soft bread and it did not help with my back. I really prefer the Premium matress that feels more like soft clay. So you need to decide what feel you are more geared for before getting the foam. They are different!

I purchased this matress 15 months ago. I loved it! It was a life saver for my aching neck and back! HOWEVER, after having this product for 15 months, it NO LONGER springs back to its original position. It pretty much has the form of our bodies permanantly imprinted in it now. My husband and I are fit people (not overweight). We flipped the matress every few weeks, and didn't sleep on it for more than eight hours a night. However, the matress is no longer helping my back, rather it's making it feel worse. I was hoping it would last at least a few years, given that it cost $169.00, but this was not the case. I will be purchasing another, as I cannot stand the pain in my back any longer. Just KNOW that this matress does NOT have a long life!

I purchased this mattress topper after reading SEVERAL reviews about them on Overstock. I have had a mattress that I called 'the mean mattress' for several years and I refused to pay the asking price for a new one when the one I had was in perfect condition....just mean. So I went to Plan B and researched the memory foam toppers. It was between this 4 inch one, which was described as a 'gel-like' feel and the 4 inche Serta memory foam, described as more of a foam feel. I got so confused I finally had to pick a review that matched my problem. I am a side sleeper and my mattress was hurting my shoulder. I LOVE MY PREMIER MEMORY FOAM TOPPPER!! Finally my body can feel some give when I lie down!! It is heavenly!!! It has solved my problem comletely! I put a 3 on appearance because as far as I'm concerned, foam is NOT cute! I put a mattress cover on top of it and I am in heaven. I have a king mattress and everything I read said to buy a size bigger, well, I think I screwed up a little when I got the california king because the sides are a tiny bit short but the length is perfect. I probably should have ordered the KING just for the side measurements because I didn't need the length as much as the sides, but it turned out OK. I think I got screwed up on what a Cal King actually was. I think it's just longer, but actually narrower than a regular King. If you're thinking about getting one of these toppers....do it! My husband can't tell the difference because the 'mean mattress' never bothered him, but I SURE CAN! You will LOVE IT! I let it puff up for about 24 hours before I put it on my bed. It looks very strange when you pull it out of the box, but be careful you don't open it too fast and tear it because it's kind of stuck together and flat when you get it. Be gentle!

I was so excited when I ordered my 4 inches foam mattress I coudn't wait to received it... finally the day arrived. I opened the box and spread the mattress as the instructions said. I noticed it was kind of thin.. just 3 inches instead of 4; I called overstock, and they said I needed to wait 24 hours so the topper will get its full shape.. 24 hours passed and i measured again 3 inches... Then I decided to lay it on my bed (quee size) and was 3 inches smaller in each side of the bed.... I called overstock again... they want me to put the topper back in the tiny box... and returned it. Imposible task considering the original packing was vacumm sealed.... Conclusion, I ended have it another 1 inch topper to compensate the first one... What a mess! Last time buying at this site.... PS. The quality is ok, not such a miracle topper to sleep in...

My son has a metal bunkbed and the mattress that came with it was horrible-useless. We added this mattress topper and voila, he sleeps at night again. I'm sure that if you were to add this to a regular mattress it would be like sleeping in heaven. We have had the mattress only 3 months but it seems to holding up fine.

I have a KING mattress in my waterbed.Four inch topper fits conner to conner.Sleeping,just like everyone else.VERY,VERY,VERY comfortable. P.S.Ordered Cal.King.

I missed the review stating that the mattress was not a great help to another 200 pound male and thus wasn't aware that the mattress would not help me as much as smaller folks. Though I am not getting the terrific results that many have reported, it has helped my chronic pain issues somewhat- enough for me to keep the mattress. I can see, however, how the mattress can be a great boon to lighter individuals. Like others have stated, be aware that it looks strange when you first put it on the bed but will assume its natural shape after 2-3 hours and it is a bit smaller than the standard mattress size. I can't say enough about the super quick delivery- I received mine in just three days after ordering.

I ordered a queen size but it arrived 5" too short and 3" too narrow. I am in the process of returning it to get another one but so far I've had to call 3 times within a week for them to email paperwork and now it will take ( I just got off the phone) another 2 to 4 days. Then another 2 weeks before they will send out a new one. I hope it's the right size. We did try it for one night and felt good ( except we felt like we were sleeping on a double bed). Putting it back it the box was no easy chore, either....

it is my best investment in my bedroom. I love sleeping on this topper. money well spent. I am glad I purchased thickest one. One thing though it is not 4 inchs thick as it saids. after 3 days laying in my living room and I measurd and it was 3 and 1/2 inchs thick. that is the only reason that i can't rate 5 stars.

We were in the market to buy a new cal-king matress set for about $1500. I thought I would at least try ot the 3" memory foam for $130. It has changed our lives! I added a nice matress pad from overstock for $25 and have been sleeping in heaven! And I saved $1345!!!!!

We are completely thrilled with this memory foam topper. I've tried the Tempurpedic mattresses in other stores and I think this 4 inch topper feels as good (but for a fraction of the price!). I would highly recommend it for anyone who is looking for more comfort and back support but doesn't want to go out and buy a completely new high end mattress. Thanks!

My husband and I love this matress topper. We recently moved and getting into bed at night was a treat due to this topper. I was leary of buying this on-line, however I would not hesitate to do so now. The product was shipped in a small box, and I thought they had sent the incorrect size. It was the correct size and only took a couple of minutes to lay flat on the bed. We love this topper and would easily recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful sleep at night!

What a great and easy product to purchase! After unpacking the topper, it only took a few moments for it to expand to it's full thickness. i didn't have to wait very long for it to be delivered and it certainly adds so much comfort to the Queen mattress i purched it for. Great product ..:)

Better watch out, Temperpedic! This mattress topper will give you a REAL run for the money! We bought our topper over 3 years ago, and we have LOVED it! Our bed sleeps like heaven. Not too soft, not too hot. Every night my bed feels like a *** mattress....but I paid less than ***! Don't hesitate...buy this topper. The 4-inch thickness is perfect!

I recommend if you want a thick topper. It's waay to thick for me.

This mattress topper made a world of difference in sleeping. It is so nice to get a good nights sleep.

We have purchased several of these. They make our beds so soft & wonderful to sleep on! Put this in our RV, really can tell the difference. Would not buy anything but the 4" Topper.
