This comforter was great when I first got it (9 months ago) - it fluffed up nicely, had a nice size on my full sized bed, and is very warm and cuddly. HOWEVER - months later, all the down has shifted from my half of the comforter, and is clumped on one side. (Which, consequently, provides the perfect warmth now that it's summer, but in a few more months is going to be a big issue). The description says the comforter has 'baffle boxes' which is supposed to keep the down from shifting. This comforter DOES have baffles - but they are NOT TRUE BAFFLES - only partial, which means the baffled walls sewn into the comforter are partial walls (think a wall with a door in it), allowing the down to shift. This is an easier, cheaper way to do 'baffles'. Only after having done a little research, about my problem did I learn that companies could call their comforters "baffle boxed" as long as there is *some* sort of wall sewn into the comforters (some the really bad ones just sew baffles at the corners). So PLEASE - TAKE THIS ADVICE. IF YOU WANT A COMFORTER WHERE THE DOWN DOESN'T SHIFT, LOOK FOR "***TRUE*** BAFFLE BOX CONSTRUCTION". True is the keyword there - this means the baffled walls are solid, not allowing ANY down shifting. Just listing 'baffle box construction' is not enough!!!

Before ordering this comforter I did as much research as I could. I discovered that Hungarian down is a product with very good quality control while most other down comes from China with little or no quality control. A gusseted sidewall allows the down to fluff to the max instead of compressing the way it might with a stitched sidewall. I received this comforter and it exceeded my expectations. I popped it into the dryer with two dryer sheets. It fluffed up beautifully and any small down odor was gone. I purchased the king size comforter for my queen size bed. I put it in an oversized queen duvet cover slightly smaller than the comforter. This combination makes for an extremely warm (but not heavy) and very fluffy bed cover. I just hate to get out of bed in the morning. I would highly recommend this product. It is totally worth a few extra dollars and a bargain at that! This is the ultimate snuggle comforter I've been hoping for!

I checked I would recommend, but ONLY as a summer weight comforter. It arrived promptly and I put it on the bed straight away. Noticed it didn't look anything like the fluffiness in the on-line version. Then remembered I needed to throw it in the dryer for a bit and I did on air setting only. No change. It is very very thin and while our summer temps only drop high 50s at night it's about this is good for. I will have to buy another for winter... That said, it works well for the summer but IS NOT an all season comforter.

This is my first Overstock purchase, and I have to say I am impressed and very pleased with the comforter. I did a lot of research before buying this item, including going to high end stores and specialty bedding places and this item has everything I was looking for. The fabric is wonderful, the hungarian down fluffs up beautifully, it has kept me warm during the cold nights and I have never slept better. I didn't realize how uncomfortable my bedspread and blankets were until I switched to this comforter. I love it and would purchase it again without hesitation. Worth every penny!

Not sure if this product is worth what it costs. The comforter comes in a clear bag that has no label. The comforter has a tag that says, "75% Down and Dry Clean Only". There is no way I can verify whether it has 650 fill power or 46 oz of down. It doesn't even say where it was made. Nevertheless, it is comfortable and warm enough (I keep the room temperature at 60F at night).

When this comforter arrived I was worried because it seemed thin. After I took it out and allowed it to expand you could still see where the squares were not filled fully. I had my doubts but put my duvet cover on it anyways and I have to be honest, its perfect! It is very cozy and has expanded nicely. I think of every excuse to run back and jump in my bed now :)

I was very skeptical at first to buy this product because I am a very picky person. However, when I received the comforter, it did not smell that bad like previous comments suggessted and after a few days it fluffed up. Now, I enjoy getting into bed. This is a great purchase for the amount!

This comforter is exquisite! The high thread count of the cover is strong and I don't forsee any down escaping. I refer to my dressed bed with its white duvet cover, as the Marshmallow because the down in this comforter fluffs up so beautifully. The boxed stitching keeps the down distributed evenly. I can't tell you how happy I am with the finished product. Because this comforter is the largest I found (king 106x90), finding a cover was challenging. I ended up getting the cover set: SATEEN SOLID 600 TC DUVET SET, which is 104x88. it fits fine and the comforter does not pop out thru the button closure at the foot. The comforter is toasty (like a marshmallow) and is exactly what I hoped for.

We love our new duvet - great for the price! It's thick enough to keep us warm during winter and light enough to use during the fall / spring.

Several years ago I "inherited" my first down comforter from a wealthy relative, and I fell in love with it. I didn't know anything about it, but I assumed it was a high quality item that I could never afford to replace. Alas, it finally wore down to the point where it had to go, and I was concerned that I'd be disappointed by anything I tried to replace it with. WRONG! This comforter is everything I could have asked for. It has that amazing cloud-like quality I was looking for, soft and luxurious, and it seems to fluff up more each day. I have not once felt like "This is OK, but not as good as my old one." People who are used to quilts with synthetic stuffing, which are thick and spongy, or big fat down coats, may not realize that down doesn't have to be huge to be wonderful. I love this comforter!

This comforter was better then I expected it to be. For our king sized sleep # bed, it falls nicely over the sides and bottom of the bed. It is very warm too! Our first night with the comforter, we had a hard time getting out of bed the next morning. It fluffled up nicely, very faint odor, and I did what another reviewer suggested, and put in the dryer with some dryer sheets for about 15 minutes. Fluffs up nicely when I make the bed too. The cats disappear into it as well.. they love it! I did a lot of research on sizes, price, and quality, and I will stand behind this comforter 100%. But I'd rather be laying under it!!

The minute I opened the box and fluffed out the comforter I could not wait to get it on my bed. It is so nice, warm and a fantastic bargain! I am buying another for my son. You will be extremely happy with the fill in this comforter and the fabric feels great.

My husband and I love everything about this comforter. The price, the fill, the softness, even the pattern on the outside. We have a king size floatation bed, our old king size down comforter barely went over the sides of the bed. I'm sure this goes at least a foot over each side. If you're looking for a big, soft, oversized down comforter, this is the one.

Fluffy, soft and a generous size I just love this. Can't wait for winter when I can use it full time.

This is a good quality comforter. The fabric is soft and attractive. The warmth level is perfect for year round use. I like the size, it works well on my king platform bed.

My husband and I prefer a cool environment when sleeping so we use our air conditioner nightly all year round. This comforter is a fabulous purchase. We purchased the king but because of the very generous size, a queen would have done the job nicely. The quality is superb. The softness and warmth of the down is incredible, and the price - it's amazing. It's very luxurious and we would recommend it to anyone.

I love the feel of the comforter. The only draw back is some of the squares have no down in them. I don't know what causes this. It is quite irritating when you make your bed when you pride yourself in making a bed. It looks very lumpy and lopsided. Sorry it couldn't be a better review.
