I purchased this blanket at the beginning of the summer, when my down comforter became too much. If you purchase this, don't expect to get a comforter with a lot of loft; this is a lightweight blanket with a small amount of down filling (only 18 oz. in queen blanket). POSITIVES: It's just the weight and warmth I like for summer nights. The color is very nice (the photo in the listing is pretty close to the reality, at least for the green blanket). The size is good (I bought a queen size for my queen bed, and it fits well). NEGATIVES: Only one, really. Other reviewers described the blanket as "noisy." I didn't know what they meant, but they were right. There's something about the weave of the fabric that causes it to "rustle" when it moves. (Think of multiple petticoats under a full skirt, that kind of sound.) It's not enough to make me stop using the blanket, but it isn't quite the luxurious feel that the description indicates. I have not yet washed or dry-cleaned the blanket, so I don't know if the fabric will soften with age. OVERALL: I am quite satisfied with this blanket and would recommend it to others.

I have three of these blankets and just ordered a fourth!...I LOVE them!! One is in Clover Green(which is a pleasant shade..also could be called sage green)..my son uses that on his bed with no Duvet....it is gorgeous just as is! Then I have it is the Rose Pink color(sort of a light to medium antique rose shade of pink....lovely on my daughters bed with no duvet even eccessary it is so pretty!...then I already have one in White, and just ordered a second one in White...both to use with my white and White/floral Shabby Chic Duvets. I fold one to place along the foot of the bed so I can easily interchange the look of my bedding..or add more warmth when needed, or it can be draped over a sofa or used on my window seat for a new look. I machine wash/dry mine and they come out beautifully...Such a nice alternative to a thicker down comforter, and great for use all year round....I add a regular thick down comforter in winter, but always have my down blanket handy as it adds even more warmth over the top of a regular Comforter..very versatile!..can you tell I think its one of my best Overstock purchases?..Enjoy!, and thanks Big O

I just love this down blanket. I would however recommend buying the next size up. I bought a queen for my queen bed and it's a little short, especially after I washed it. Very comfortable, not too heavy for our South Carolina winters. I plan to buy a few more.

I really am pleased with my light blue down blanket. The satin around the blanket is so soft. Very fast delivery. However, my husband teases me that whenever I roll over at night he hears me because my new blanket makes a 'crunchy' noise!!

These blankets are great, just the right weight for the south in summer, I sleep very comfortable, not too hot. They also look very nice, we use ours as the top covering, no bedspread needed.

Prepare yourself to spend eternity in bed with this blanket! I have waited several years to purchase a blanket of this quality. You will not find a better quality blanket for this price anywhere else! Pure luxury at a price you can afford!

I love this blanket. Hoping for the comfort and cozy feel of a recent hotel stay in a Nashville hotel, I ordered this down blanket. I wasn't looking for a lot of warmth because we live in Florida. This blanket is perfect, just snuggle in and you're ready for a good sleep!

I ordered 6 of these in total. Um, yeah, 6. This is the most wonderful blanket ever. I ordered one from a very poplular television shopping channel. I paid three times the price for the king size from that channel. Funnier yet, the sweet purple is made by pacific coast. The SAME maker of the blanket I paid almost two hundred dollars for. I really stocked up. I love this blanket for all year in Florida. I also ordered ivory but that was a different maker. Love, love, love.

Although it arrived with an OPEN package (unsealed with a big plastic bag..) , but since I was anxiously wanted to get a thin and a nice qulity blanket for the summer, I accepted. Overall it is a good blanket for summer. I give it three stars becouse it is very 'hairy'... the down comes everywhere (in my hair and in the air).. I am a bit worried what going to happen after being washed by machine.

This blanket is just ok. It has the darker goose down which shows through in the white color option. It also makes a "rustling" sound that kind of bothers me. Otherwise, it is a nice weight.

this blanket had an oder.... the feathers came out.... was jus gross... threw it out b4 end of season.

I consider my bed a hobby of mine. I've spent thousands of dollars on the bed, mattress, and linens. So listen up. This down blanket is attractive, but it is leaking feathers all over my bedroom. I am surprised no one else is writing about this problem, but it is amazingly annoying to me. If it was a duvet it would be fine because the feathers would be contained within a cover, but using it as a blanket is not a good idea. I'll be buying a different down blanket to replace this one soon. Maybe I can use this one as a feather duster or something...

When I received this blanket, I was a little dissapointed in the feel of the fabric. It isn't as soft as I was expecting. It is a nice looking blanket that was made well and it is perfect to use year round (in AZ). My husband and I both like to have a blanket on while sleeping and our house is set at 75 - this blanket isn't too hot for that temperature. I have noticed that this blanket does "Shed" a little - I find little feathers in our bed, but it isn't too bad.

Fabulous down blanket. Light weight, no smell, soft yet durable cover. White color is a bright white. Well made.I ordered white/king fits my Queen size bed like a spread to the floor. Down is distributed well, appears to be white down each box, fluffy. Very light, nice for summer or winter. The satin trim is so soft, and just plain elegant. Can't believe the low price. I would have paid double for this kind of quality. Fabulous to crawl into at night, hard to get out of in morning! Thanks - Overstock

Another wonderful purchase from Overstock! I purchased this in white and use it with Overstock's 1000 count sheets. Makes me feel like a princess! It is light-weight, yet warm, and it is oversized, which is especially nice, as I usually find comforters to be skimpy in size and every time my husband turns over, there goes my blanket. Not so with this wonderful comforter. Also, machine washable, just one more great feature. I am ordering it in two more colors!

I absoutely love this blanket. It's so pretty I've ordered it in 3 different colors and I'm using them as I would a comforter set. I don't like heavy comforters and this blanket is lightweight and is not overly warm as other overstuffed comforters. Plus it's machine washable! You gotta like that!

I agree with B. from KS - this blanket is handsome enough to use on its own. Beautifully stitched with satin trim on all four sides! I too dislike comforters due to their weight but do require some warmth during the Chicago winters. This blanket delivers warmth and is very light weight and easy to move around while sleeping. It breathes well and I plan on using it year-round. I purchased it in the Clover Green (celadon color)and just love it!

I love the light weight and the warm weather comfort of this down blanket, but it is rather noisy. Something about the fabric. Maybe it will be softer after it has been washed. Also, I bought white and you can see quite a few grey feathers through the fabric. I suggest buying a color instead of white so you won't notice them.

This is the second down blanket I have purchased and the quality is great. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants the warmth without the weight. I keep this on my bed year round.

I own several of these and love them. The weight of this cover is perfect on our bed during summer nights in air conditioned rooms and is used with an additional blanket for winter months. The weight is so light you barely know you have it on you and with another cover on top of it, it keeps you completely warm in cold weather. These covers are wonderful.
