BLACK, purple, and white
I'm sending this back because the description does not accurately specify that the colors of the comforter are BLACK, purple, and white - not strictly purple and white. The side shown in the picture is black and white. The opposite side is purple and white, though the white on this side had a slight purple tint to it. The pillow covers are black and white with a purple back and trim. The bed skirt is purple. The color purple is a nice shade, I expected it to be darker, almost an eggplant (I suppose because it is actually black not purple in the picture provided), but it was pleasantly brighter. The comforter is very pretty and I liked the feel of the fabric, but I have too many browns in my room for this to match. I did not try washing it or even have it out of the package for more than a few minutes, but it did come out of the packaging slightly wrinkled. It is not terribly plush, but I don't like a big, puffy comforter so I was a good weight and thickness in my opinion.

Not Recommended
Stop ! Before you buy this bedspread. It's not a comforter. It's a super lightweight 100% polyester plasticy feeling cover. The design is very pretty, but it looks so cheap on the bed that I would not put it on a bed that isn't used. If has a creepy feeling. In addition, when I set up the return, I had to pay postage. They call it buyer error. No matter that there was not satisfaction with the product, the buyer pays for all returns unless O.co makes an error. Sad situation

Chintzy
The comforter is extremely thin & made with a cheap fill, definitely not worth the price. The white looks like the purple ran on it, there's a distinct pinky hue to it & the colors are not quite true to the picture. Also, you could see where obvious flaws had been sewn, as if it was a second you would find in an outlet. It's too bad that it's so poorly made because the design is really nice. I returned it immediately.

Not quite as Expected
The picture of this product does not do it justice. The fabric is described as polyester, however this polyester fabric is cheep, and shiny. It is not worth the money paid for, likely will send it back.

disappointment
This item lasted maybe a week before it started to fall apart, the seems weren't quality and I had no problem sewing them but it got to the point where it couldn't be fixed anymore.

Just a pretty face
The color is pretty, but the quality is really cheap...esp. if your use to at least 400 thread count sheets. I bought this for my (preteen) stepdaughter's room and there are pin stains and miscolorations from candy.

I love this product it is soft with a surprise on the reverse side of the comforter. I just thought the purple was a bit darker than what it is, but no matter - I love it!

great set
This is a great set, fits my deep pillowtop mattress with a feather bed on top perfectly. Most queens are too small for my bed. The colors are perfect for what I wanted, and the light weight of it is very comfortable, both winter and summer. The colors are true to the picture though it looks like the scroll work going up the center is dark purple when in truth, its black, which absolutely delighted me when I received it. The wrinkles it acquired in packing have not fallen out and needs ironed or steamed. All in all, I love it. Exactly what I wanted for my room.
