We first bought a set of these sheets when Overstock had them a couple years ago. After a few months of wash and wear, they became THE softest, silkiest, most decadent sheets in our arsenal of 800 tc sheets (we have several different brands). If creme brulee came in sheet form, these sheets would be it. When we saw them again on the Overstock site, of course we immediately snatched up another set. While the new sheets haven't reached the buttery softness of the first set yet, they're already softer than any of our other sheets. The first set we bought was in the "bone" color, which we thought would be ivory but is closer to a light gold. The second set we bought was in "white," which is a good white that maybe hints a little more to the off-white side than to the blue-white side. Both sets have a nice, subtle sheen. One thing to note: these sheets have a "good side" (unbelievably soft and luxurious, as described above) and a "bad side" (more like canvas), that each became more pronounced as the sheets were broken in. I'm guessing this was something necessary in the weave to put all of the soft part of the fiber on one side. If you get these sheets and find them rough, try turning them over!

These are the most comfortable and soft sheets i have slept on. Had the best night sleep after a long time. The fitted sheet had elastic all around and extra elastic on the corners to allow for a snug fit. The flat sheet was very generous in size on my cal king bed. I have a mattress topper and i was still able to tuck in on both sides. Overall i recommend these sheets for somebody looking for quality sheets and I am planning on buying several more to give as gifts during the holidays. Thanks Overstock!

I ordered the cloud blue sheets, and overall I am pleased with the purchase. They are heavy, strong, and have nice stitching. I have washed them once and used them for a couple of nights. Although not yet super soft, I think they will get there and are by no means scratchy. Also, while not hot, they are warm sheets (because of the high thread count), and they do not have a strong "cool feel" when you first lay on them. The fitted sheet feels very sturdy with strong elastic. It fits my 15" pillow-top with ease. The only issue is that the blue color is not as blue as in the picture - it is a more delicate greyish/blue. Still a nice color, but if you want a strong blue, this is not it. Also, they do wrinkle something fierce, but a quick steam or iron (or even a few nights in them) will get that out. Great value. Quality sheets. Wish they had more colors. Would buy again.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Cloud Blue is lighter and more grey than on the web. Still blue, and good looking, but could pass as grey in some color schemes.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Solid. Good stitching, heavy feel.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Accurate measurements and details about the product.
Sheets were not very soft for being 800 count. I have 600 count sheets that are softer. Also, very hard to get bottom sheet on mattress and top sheet is not oversized. Why would you make a sheet set where the bottom sheet is oversized and the top sheet is not? Can not tuck the top sheet under.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Was fine, but pretty hard to screw up white

The sheet for the mattress ripped completely after only a few months of use. I have $20 sheets that have lasted for years and these couldn't last a few months. Plus, Overstock's customer service was horrible. They could not do anythingnto take care of this. I Will not be ordering from Overstock ever again.
When I bought the sheets I read the reviews and ones of the complaints was that after one time of washing the seams were coming loose. So when they arrived the first thing I check were the seams and sure enough there was an area that the seem was coming apart and there was a hole. Customer Service was great and took care of me, no problem.
These sheets are soft, but are nothing like 800-thread count sheets I ordered previously from Overstock. I do not recall the brand of the other sheets, but they are of such higher quality that these, while OK, simply don't compare. The older set is way heavier and, although a little more stiff, just have a better overall feel. The only reason I bought a new set is that, after several years and multiple, multiple washings, the old ones are starting to get, well, old... The new sheets are oversized a bit, I guess to fit thicker mattresses, but unlike most sheets I've ever bought, regardless of thread count, these don't seem to want to fit well, kind of bunching up and not lying smoothly, especially after just a few days. They only feel really good for the first night or so that I put them on after washing. I will say they are a little less wrinkly than the older set. The first set of 800 threat count sheet sets spoiled me. I'd tried a few other sets at lower counts, i.e., 300, 600, etc., but decided I was no longer going to buy anything less than 800 thread counts - yet these are simply nowhere near being even in the same category of quality. That's a testament to the first set I bought, and I only wish I'd saved the info so I could buy them again.
The minute I received my sheets, I laundered them as shown on the package....Cold Water, delicate and low heat dryer setting. This surprised me as whites would usually be washed by me on the warm, if not hot, setting. Guess this prevents wrinkling. Anyway they came out almost wrinkle free. The package says "up to 20" mattress" for the fitted sheet. That is not true as I have a 15" mattress. The fitted sheet JUST covered it with no extra material on the sides to tuck under the mattress. Acceptable, but not great. The sheets have a silky feel to them that made turning in the bed easy and pleasurable. For the money, these are a very nice buy. I would wish that there was an option to buy additional king pillow cases as I always have four on my bed.
I had purchased a set of these sheets for my (extra deep) King bed. My usual "test" of a good sheet is if they still feel and fit the same after several washings. These totally fit the bill - no pilling, no shrinking and just as soft as heavier thread counts. I liked them so much, this purchase was for my daughters Full size beds and an additional set for my King. Once I find a set I really like, I always want to have a backup set.
Sheets are super thick and rough. I've washed them in everything imaginable to try and get the "rough" feeling off the sheet - I've used baking sode, vinegar, detergents, softener, etc. And... I iron my sheets and that doesn't help either. They are so thick they would be a good choice for cold climates, but even then I don't believe anyone would like the roughness. Maybe after a few years of washing they will be where they should have been when purchased. These will be going to Goodwill. Wish I could return them. :(
Before we purchased these sheets we researched about pima cotton and saw nothing but great things. Unfortunately, our experience did not match what we had read about it. Although very well made and beautiful, the sheets did not feel luxurious at all! Quite the opposite, it felt rough, almost like there was "sand" in the bed. We gave it a chance and used it for two weeks, washed it twice, but no signs of improvement. Our cheaper sheets feel much softer than these ones. We returned it. :(
I was super excited when I ordered these sheets. I had purchase my favorite sheets that were only 400TC, but amazingly soft and luxurious. I figured these 800TC would be at least as good. Nope. I got them and washed them the same day so I could put them on my bed. SCRATCHY. I had to actually take the flat sheet off the bed and just use the fitted sheet & my duvet to just fall asleep. This is probably the last time I'll be ordering sheets online, instead I will go to the store and feel out the sheets before buying. I will say, however, they have gotten slightlyyy better over the last month, but still wouldn't call them soft.
These sheets are always pretty when the come out of the package. Because I have returned almost EVERY PAIR of sheets purchased from overstock due to pilling i.e. sheets feeling like sand paper, I tried something new this time. I washed them first. After one wash and about a week of sleeping on them, these too started pilling and felt like sand paper. I am stuck with these crappy sheets. If I return them it will be at my cost. I will NEVER ORDER another pair of sheets from overstock. It doesn't matter if the sheets are pima cotton, egyptian cotton, percale, sateen.... the quality is awful and the sheets fade! Overstock needs to do better! Extremely disappointed!
My husband told me there was a hole in the sheet. I thought he was crazy!! Sheets should last a few years at least and we switch our sheets when we change them. So, this morning I checked and sure enough, there is a HUGE hole and the sheets are like shredded!! I have never had that happen, ever. I paid almost $** for this sheet set and expected a little more than that. Terrible quality. What happened, Overstock? You USED to rule with these type of items!!
