I have always wanted a buckwheat pillow (after napping on one a while ago), but could never find one that wasn't noisy. The pillowcase it comes with plus the bits of shredded foam among the hulls makes this the perfect pillow. Plus, they give you so much buckwheat and shredded foam, I could easily make another pillow. I just need the perfect case. . .

I've used this pillow now for 6 months or so, and it is the perfect pillow (at least for me). Soft but with a heft to it. Love it!

I have purchased memory foam pillows and they were very expensive. Thought I was on right track but when I slept on this pillow my search is over after 40 years of marriage and dozens of pillows. My husband had similar pillow when we got married. I have never been able to find one since that compared. Very comfortable. The latex foam is the best. Would recommend this pillow. Very reasonable too.

I you like the heft of a foam pillow, these are what you want. I love foam pillows and don't like other pillows that flatten over a short time. What I also appreciate is that these came out of the box VERY BOUNCY and sturdy but after a few nights they took on a softer quish-ier quality which is so perfect. They are great LEG pillows too. After a week weeks they are beyond perfection but still have the foam quality I prefer.

Excellent quality and fast delivery. Never fluff a pillow again! I got 2. One medium and one soft...... I prefer the soft.

This pillow came in a very small box that didn't weigh very much, and I was pretty sure that Overstock sent me something other than a pillow. But, I was wrong. My latex pillow it was! My pillow did have a typical latex odor, as it came wrapped in plastic. Having had other latex pillows (and a latex topper), I know that the odor will go away over time. The pillow expands very quickly when you open the plastic packaging. It's a very bouncy pillow and feels medium to medium soft, which I like. I am an average-sized woman, and my head does not rest on the mattress, but rather on the pillow, which does compact where you head lies and feels firmer. It's very comfortable and there are no issues with your ears hurting. I love the size as it gives you lots of room to hug the pillow, if you are so inclined. I recommend it, but have to say that if you are a person who likes a pillow with shelf-like support, I don't think this is the pillow for you. It has support, no mistake about that, but this is not a dense piece of latex that doesn't give/move a lot. So far this "airy" quality of the pillow also keeps it very cool for a latex pillow. So, again, good pillow. Medium is a good call on this, but it may feel very soft (maybe too soft) if you are a larger person.

I have searched everywhere for a pillow that can stay firm enough to keep my neck off the bed and cradle my head. Ive looked everywhere. I will be buying these pillows from now until the end of time. The first thing I noticed, It scared me when i opened the box to find this small packaged pillow, it was tiny. I opened it and it unfolded before my eyes. I knew right then that I would love it forever. Last night was my first night sleeping on this pillow, at NO point during the night did i need to reposition it, fluff it up or grab another pillow. Its absolutely perfect.

Great latex pillow. This is the second one I have ordered. Just the right thickness for a side sleeper.

At the end of the day, it is a real comfortable feeling to see your pillow is ready for another night of restful sleep. No pushing, pulling, or fluffing to disturb your partner as you slip into bed and slowly drift into dreamland on the most comfortable pillow ever.

I bought this for my daughter. She likes a flat pillow. After reading reviews, I went with this one. I feel the price is a bit high, but she likes it so far. It does have a weird odor. Hopefully that will go away. She's only had it a few days.

I have purchased so many pillows during the last several years. Never was happy with any of them. This pillow is similar to one I had when I was a kid. That pillow was perfect and lasted for forever. So far, this pillow is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm not expecting to have to purchase any more pillows for a long time.

This pillow is by far my favorite! It's just a little high for me. Perfect for sitting up in bed and studying (I am a student). I decided to buy a soft one as well, but it is too soft so I've returned it and I'm exchanging it for a medium density which I think will be perfect to sleep on. Just difficult to know what density you need when buying online!

Hate these pillows -- my head slips off, like sleeping on a slab of glass. These would be great if you need to sit on them, but not for head & neck support. Go for shredded latex -- the best pillow I have found is ****** ******* ********** ****** **** ****** --- you order this pillow according to your shoulder width (not your height as suggested) if you are a side sleeper.

I've used this pillow for a week now and every night I sleep like a baby. I realize it's the pillow and mattress combined, but we have a mattress less than a year old. I have a lot of joint pain, including in my neck, and so good support is essential for me. I've tried the "ergonomic" foam pillows and the "bump" just causes pressure and more pain. This pillow is enough support to cradle my head while still being soft enough to lay on my side (which is my primary sleep position). I honestly had a better night sleep the 1st time I used it! The zip protector is great under my pillow case, but it does shrink just a bit if not hung to dry (I put in dryer). My pillow still fits just fine. Now that I've used it with great results, my husband is fighting me to use it now! Time to get him one! And the smell...let it air out one day without the zip sleeve and it's fine. No issues on my end.
With the advent of memory foam, deciding which type of foam pillow you should buy is no longer the snap decision it once was. Pillows are highly personalized possessions. They impact not only your sleep but also how you feel during the day. Below, you'll learn how to compare foam pillows.
You spend a third of your life with your head on a pillow, so a memory foam pillow may be worth your attention. Memory foam has become popular in recent years as people have discovered what a difference it can make, but you don't have to invest in an entire memory foam mattress to get a great night's rest: Just a pillow can make a difference. Here are some facts that can help you find the best memory foam pillow for you.
You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.
Memory foam pillows and mattresses are perfect for people looking to have a great night's sleep. They can help you sleep better, ease your back pain, and reduce snoring. The biggest challenge you'll face with memory foam is the cleaning process, but cleaning it is easier than you may think. Follow these simple steps to make your memory foam bedding like new again.
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
Foam bedding is becoming more and more popular, but traditional memory foam is usually the often the only type you hear about. Did you know that latex foam bedding has been available for years and is preferred by some to memory foam? Here is more information about the strengths of both traditional memory foam and latex foam, so you can decide which bedding is right for you.

Many people have heard of memory foam mattresses, but few can tell you what they are made from. Memory foam is a combination of polyurethane and additional ingredients which increase foam's viscosity and density. It was originally developed by NASA to improve the safety of their aircraft cushions, but now, it's used in mattresses, pillows, and other bedding. The soft and inviting material is what makes these mattresses so appealing to people looking for a good night's sleep.

When back pain strikes, specialized pillows can be a lifesaver. These pillows are available to help you alleviate minor back problems while you sleep. Take a look at the guide below to learn about some of the best pillows for back pain.
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
