I've been a C-Pap user for over nine years now. I spent the first six years looking for a good pillow. And the last three using what I had determined was the best. I bought this several days ago, and now have a new favorite. My off the top of my head appraisal is that it's like an infinitely variable, infinitely adjustable foam pillow that you can make into any shape you like. Want more neck support? Rearrange the beads with your hand. Want some cutouts on the ends? Hit the end with your hand, and the cutout is there. The big difference between this and the foam pillow I've been using, is that this doesn't compress like foam and lose its support. Nor does it get warm like the foam. Top quality materials and a warrantee unequaled in the pillow industry. Glad I bought it.

I know there are tons of options out there regarding pillows but the old fashion latex foam pillows are the best.

This is the perfect pillow for me. It really is cooler than others, with its little holes in the foam. It is comfortable and malleable enough for me to scrunch it a bit so that I am in perfect bliss. I use an old, flattened pillow underneath it because it works best that way for me. Yet if the pillow were bigger I don't think I'd like it. I'd recommend using a smaller pillow beneath it for the most comfort. I'm a small person, but I still need that height. Anyway, if you need a pillow and are looking at all the possibilities and getting both dizzy and concerned that you have no real way to know whether you'll like a pillow until you try it, go with the tried-and-true latex foam rubber. I'm certainly glad I switched from "down alternative" or whatever my last seven pillows have been. One of them is now the flat pillow under my new foam pillow!

I was sad the pillow wasn't a bit more firm ( I think it said it was 'medium' density). My last was more firm so I returned this but still think it's a fine product & good for someone who was a more softer memory foam pillow.

I've used this pillow now for 6 months or so, and it is the perfect pillow (at least for me). Soft but with a heft to it. Love it!

My family has been using latex foam pillows for 30 years. Over the years, they have disappeared from store's shelves, and we had to try other "hypo-allergenic" types. Nothing could compare to the latex foam ones my kids grew up with. I have bought other ones online that turned out to be way too firm. FINALLY I found this soft density one! It is perfect. All my children have allergies, and I have found that this type is the absolute best. This particular model is the perfect firmness... no neck pain from being raised up too high. One of the best things about this pillow is that it can be washed easily (keep the zippered cover on) and it maintains the exact same shape and density for many, many years! My kids are thrilled! Finally everyone is getting a great night sleep!

The pillows are great and thus far holding up to the firmness.

I have searched for the "perfect" pillow for years. Soft, squishable and still able to hold and maintain its shape. This is darn close. A little bouncy at first, but I got used to that quickly and finally sleep the whole night without switching pillows.

I have been seeking a soft foam pillow for years. While this one looks too thick (I have a neck problem) it is so soft that I have no problem with its thickness and find it very comfortable.

I am a long time +8yrs CPAP user and I also sleep on my stomach rather than on my back or side. I use a Full Face mask as well which means that I have to sleep with the mask hanging over the edge of the pillow with the rest of my head supported by the pillow. I have been using the older version of this pillow for some time and I liked it. Giving this newer bigger pillow a try out. The package arrived with a pillow casing with a quilted cover with a zipper on one side, the long side instead of the end like the other model, a mixed back of Buckwheat Hulls and foam pieces and an instruction sheet. The instructions suggested filling the pillow with between 1/4 to 3/4. I decided to fill it up about 3/4's full. I used a plastic Solo cup to move the contents from the bag to the pillow. It is very light, but unlike shipping peanuts, not really sticking to things. So it was fairly easy to move, though each cup full felt like I was moving air. After filling it up to where I wanted it, I zipped it close and then just to make sure it stayed zipped, I used a safety pin through the hole in the zipper to the pillow so it won't open on its own. I also put the pillow into a pillow case. Somethings about the pillow: NOISE, Not really an issue. The mixture of Buckwheat Hulls with pieces of foam in it keeps the it from making much noise while it is moving around. However, once you have molded to the shape you want and start to sleep on it, it really doesn't move much and if you are using Cpap would pretty much prevent you from hearing anything. SMELL, I didn't notice any real smell from the pillow or the contents. HEAT, I live in a fairly hot area (Phoenix Metro area) and as like with the previous version of the pillow, it doesn't really heat up and stays fairly cool. SLEEPING WITH THE PILLOW. Basically, I treated it like I did with my original pillow, lying on my stomach, I just circled it with my arms and molded it into a little mound where I could put my head facing on either side with the mask overhanging the pillow. This allowed me to sleep without getting mask leaks and be able to shift my head from one side to the other without really having to keep molding it over and over. The pillow once molded into the blob that I wanted pretty much stayed there and provided a good solid but no hard sleeping surface. I have now used it for around 3 nights and a couple daily naps with GREAT SUCCESS and WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PILLOW TO ANYONE WHO USES CPAP.

If you like soft pillows this is a great product and we started having a good sleep. The extra covers makes it easy to maintain from dust. Initially I felt the height of the pillow was high but now I am used to it. My son uses and Memory foam pillow and sometimes I feel that's better than Latex foam. Memory foam pillows are little hard than the Latex foam pillow.

This is a very comfortable pillow. It doesn't make my head or neck too warm (and I cannot sleep if those two body zones are too warm). The only reason I rated this pillow as "Good" instead of "Excellent" is really a personal preference and expectation - I thought (maybe mistakenly) this pillow would be firmer. I have problems with my neck, and down and fiber-fill pillows tend to aggravate my problem. Having said this, I'm realizing that this pillow does NOT cause my neck to ache at all (nor did my ears feel as if they were pressed against concrete...!)! Therefore, I would say this pillow is really good!

I bought these pillows to replace other latex pillows that had been great for me for many years. These pillows were a perfect replacement. Not too firm or soft, just the right amount of support. It took no time at all to get used to them. I am definitely happy with this choice!

With the advent of memory foam, deciding which type of foam pillow you should buy is no longer the snap decision it once was. Pillows are highly personalized possessions. They impact not only your sleep but also how you feel during the day. Below, you'll learn how to compare foam pillows.
You spend a third of your life with your head on a pillow, so a memory foam pillow may be worth your attention. Memory foam has become popular in recent years as people have discovered what a difference it can make, but you don't have to invest in an entire memory foam mattress to get a great night's rest: Just a pillow can make a difference. Here are some facts that can help you find the best memory foam pillow for you.
You never realize how many muscles it takes to turn your head until you have a stiff neck, and the wrong pillow can leave your neck stiff for days. A good pillow, however, provides the neck and back support you need, and this depends on how you sleep and what you're looking for in a pillow. Compare the qualities of down pillows and memory foam pillows to see which will provide you with the comfort level you need.
Memory foam pillows and mattresses are perfect for people looking to have a great night's sleep. They can help you sleep better, ease your back pain, and reduce snoring. The biggest challenge you'll face with memory foam is the cleaning process, but cleaning it is easier than you may think. Follow these simple steps to make your memory foam bedding like new again.
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
Foam bedding is becoming more and more popular, but traditional memory foam is usually the often the only type you hear about. Did you know that latex foam bedding has been available for years and is preferred by some to memory foam? Here is more information about the strengths of both traditional memory foam and latex foam, so you can decide which bedding is right for you.
Having the right pillow can help induce sleep and extend a good night's rest. Some people, whether because of allergies or personal preference, avoid traditional feather and down pillows in favor of modern ecologically-friendly and animal-friendly alternative pillows. From professional-grade buckwheat to memory foam, the top 5 alternative pillows welcome tired heads with the best in quality and comfort.
Since children spend a large amount of time sleeping during their crucial development stages, it's important to help them rest comfortably. Memory foam pillows will improve your child's sleeping posture, resulting in restful and productive sleep. The dense material molds to the child's shape, cradling his or her neck and head. Here's what to look for when you shop online for your child's memory foam pillow.
Many people have heard of memory foam mattresses, but few can tell you what they are made from. Memory foam is a combination of polyurethane and additional ingredients which increase foam's viscosity and density. It was originally developed by NASA to improve the safety of their aircraft cushions, but now, it's used in mattresses, pillows, and other bedding. The soft and inviting material is what makes these mattresses so appealing to people looking for a good night's sleep.
Are you having trouble sleeping? Gel memory foam could be the solution. It's similar to traditional memory foam, but the gel adds benefits that many people find to be the secret to comfortable, restful sleep. Because it's a new product, you may not be sure what to look for when you're shopping. This information will help you find the gel memory foam mattress topper, pillow, or mattress that could help you get a better night's sleep -- every night.

When back pain strikes, specialized pillows can be a lifesaver. These pillows are available to help you alleviate minor back problems while you sleep. Take a look at the guide below to learn about some of the best pillows for back pain.
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
