We had used "gel" pillows at a relative's home in Calif. and had looked all over our area for them. When I found them online at Overstocked.com, I quickly ordered them. I was ordering another item when I happen to see that they were available. They are very comfortable and seem to cradle your head and fit my sleeping pattern, as I sleep mostly on my side.. I can "scrunch" it to fit exactly how I want it. The pillows don't seem to get "hard" spots that so many other pillows get. My relative said that she had her pillows for several years and they are still in great condition. I told my sister about them in Florida. She said that she found some back there and she likes them also. My nephew in California also uses them. They aren't easy to find in the department stores, so it was good to find them at Overstock.com.

Both my boyfriend and I enjoy these pillows. We're side sleepers and tend to like softer pillows, but still need some support. These pillows fit the bill. The stuffing is even, and they do not go flat. I already had to wash one (after 2 weeks) due to an unfortunate beverage spill, and it washed very well and puffed right up again in the dryer.

I like a soft pillow but this is very very squishy. When you put your head down on it the polyester gel-fill part ways and your head it on the mattress

I have been using a water pillow for about 10 years now. They have served me well, but when my latest one sprung a leak I decided to look at alternatives. I had a latex pillow when I was a young boy, but that was long ago, and I wasn't certain it it would be the right solution for me now. I looked at down alternatives (I am allergic to down) as well as granulated latex, and pillows made of wool batting as well as pillows filled with wool "pearls." I decided that a solid latex core would probably work best for me, and boy does it. I am a side sleeper, and sometimes I have neck issues. This pillow is soft and springy, and at first I was concerned that it was too soft to provide proper support for my neck. It has not been a problem at all. Latex is naturally resilient, so when I first lay my head on the pillow it descends into a cloud of softness, that then subtly rebounds until my head has just the right level of support to keep my neck in line with my body - it's almost like magic. Combined with the 100% latex mattress I purchased recently, I am now sleeping better than ever, and waking up in the morning without aches and pains. If you are worried about a latex pillow sleeping hot, this one does not. The cotton cover is quilted with wool batting, this gives it a nice surface feel beneath the pillowcase, and it hasn't felt any hotter than your run of the mill fiber-fill pillow. I highly recommend this pillow.

Description reads "Gel - filled"..... The wrapper said it had "gel fibers". Seemed like a cheap pillow to me. HOWEVER, Overstock.com made the return very easy!!!

I was skeptical about buying pillows online, but I haven't had much good luck shopping for them in the store, so why not??!! When shopping for pillows, I squish them and squeeze them and try to lay my head on them in the plastic cover with my hand pretending to be the bed. I pick the pillows I like, and within a couple of weeks they turn to lumpy sacks of fluffballs. I am trying to stay away from feathers and down due to asthma, but it's all I've ever used until recently so I have no idea how to shop for a good pillow. Tada! Between dogs trying to take over my bed, my husband and I wrestling over the new pillows, sleep drool...etc, these pillows are holding up fantastically and are SUPER comfortable...and at a great price, to boot. I highly recommend them. :)

Sent these to my son for his "guest" bed. He tried them out and gave them 2 thumbs up. I think I'm going to get stuck with the old pillows when I visit!

These pillows are extremely thin and don't feel like much more than throw away hospital pillows.

I love these pillows. From the first evening I laid my head upon them, it was instant comfort. They are soft yet still provide good support. They stay cooler than other pillows I've had as well. Fantastic value--I may buy some more!

These pillows are hard to find, many pillows are memory foam with gel but these are simply soft like laying on clouds and hypo-allergenic as a bonus! Ordering four more as we speak!!!

I am in a never-ending quest to find pillows that are firm and retain their shape yet be soft enough to actually sleep comfortably on. I was excited to hear about gel pillows and quickly ordered this pair. I don't have anything really positive or negative to share, they are just extremely average. They do seem to be retaining their shape after a month of use, but are not any more supportive than any other pillow I've tried. For the price they are decent pillows, just don't expect it to be your miracle solution!

I've always loved down pillows, but they seem to get flat very quickly, and flat is not a comfortable sleep position. I thought I'd give these a try, because the price was right and Overstock has a great return policy. I will not be returning them. They are the right size (standard pillow) and they are as comfortable as down but they don't flatten easily. There was no smell about them, and they puff back up easily. I recommend these to down lovers and to foam lovers looking for a more comfortable night's sleep. I LOVE these pillows! Thank you, Overstock!

If you don't mind not seeing your mate for, say, the last trimester of your pregnancy, I highly recommend this pillow. I had some complications with hip pain and back pain towards the end of my pregnancy, and this provided a nice alternative to assembling and adjusting 5 or 6 bed pillows to cushion pressure points. Each night I made a nice comfy pillow nest, kissed my husband good night over the wall I had created, and settled down for as close to a comfortable night's sleep as I could get.

I was a bit concerned about purchasing pillows sight-unseen but I had heard good things about "gel" pillows. I really wasn't sure what to expect. These pillows were soft yet supportive and just what I was looking for. I was almost picturing some kind of strange, squishy, heavy, jelly filled pillow but these were light and (just the right amount of) fluffy. I bought them as guest pillows and I am using them myself on my own bed!
