First, I will say that I really, really like these pillows. They are quite lofty, seem to be well made, and are holding their shape and thickness well so far (after a month). However, I must also say that I would not actually classify them as 'firm' since they sink down quite a bit under the weight of my head. Fortunately, the extra thickness compensates for their lack of traditional firmness, and actually provides nice support for my neck. I find that I'm sleeping much more soundly and waking up without any neck or back pain. I've gone through several different brands of pillows in the last couple of years (all of which cost more) and these are by far the closest to exactly what I was looking for. I also have high hopes that they will hold up much longer than the others... at least they're off to a good start!! All in all, I am very happy with them and feel the quality and value is great for the price.

the ads for theses pillows read like the greatest pillow ever to be made … swiss … blah-blah-blab … like " cotton candy " wrapped in a super thin burial sheet … when your head hits the pillow … it does not stop till it hits the mattress .. super -super thin, flat and not worth the money … in other words … these " pillows " are not for you !

Needed to fill square shams for new bedding. Perfect fit and nicely full. These are good pillows. I don't think pillows require a better review.

I've been looking and looking (and LOOKING!) for a really good firm pillow. I mainly want a FIRM pillow because, for some reason, any pillow I've ever used as an adult has rather quickly, well, fallen. I LOVE big squishy pillows, and if they would stay big and squishy and not collapse, I'd love to have some of those. But I've learned that's NOT the way to go; buying firm pillows works much better. These pillows kept their shape, "squish", and firmness for less than 2 weeks. Pretty awful. Don't buy them.

This is a great Talalay latex pillow. It is low to medium loft and medium firm density. The wool and cotton cover adds an extra level of support and comfort. This pillow can be scrunched up under your next to provide the perfect level of comfort and support. I have tried MANY latex pillow and this is the best I have found. Highly recommended.

I used to own one of these, & it lasted for about 30 years, & was certainly my favorite pillow. After it finally wore out, I spent many years looking for a similar one, but I didn't remember where I bought it or what brand it was or what it was called (I had cut out all the labels). Since then, I've bought 10-12 pillows, looking for a replacement, but didn't like any of them. I like a firm pillow, so I stacked up 2-3 of the others at a time. I had given up on locating another one, thinking that they weren't made anymore. I finally found this one by searching for "latex foam". I was very surprised when I received it, because it's identical to my old one, with the ventilation holes & all. I was so happy with it that I bought two. Some of my favorite things about this pillow are: 1) it will last a long time; the ones I just bought here are sure to outlive me 2) they're not expensive at all considering their durability & quality 3) they are indeed firm 4) unlike some other pillows (especially synthetic fill), my head doesn't sweat, due to the ventilator holes 5) it never loses it shape (I shouldn't say "never", because it will lose it's shape after 30 years or so) 6) partly due to the high quality, smooth cotton case in comes in, & partly due to it's consistency & retaining its shape, it's the easiest pillow to get into & out of a pillowcase. What some people may not like: 1) if you're used to feather or down pillows, or even polyester fill pillows, this pillow will not feel the same (it has a bit of a "springy" feel to it, but remember, it is latex, after all) 2) if you like your head to sink all the way into a pillow, this is not it 3) it is not a "standard" size; it's a bit narrow, but it will fit well into standard pillowcases. This is an excellent bargain for an outstanding pillow.

Good quality for the money - very nice. I am happy with these pillows. They are full, soft and comfortable to sleep on. When I received the first shipment, the pillows were damaged - UPS returned them to Overstock and within two days I had replacements.

The only problem I've had so far with these pillows is finding shams. But they are well worth the buy even if I end up making the shams.

I thought I had ordered two of these pillows but, on checking my order, saw I had only ordered one. On receiving the second pillow I was surprised to find that it was a) firmer then the first even though they are both supposed to be firm, b) the second pillow's outer case was a soft waffle micro fiber type of fabric compared to the first pillow's, sateen striped cotton cover( as depicted on the photo). c) the second pillow's inside cover is some sort of nylon which makes it "sleep hotter) than the first. I am surprised by the inconsistency because I ordered them within days of each other .I'll keep both as my husband doesn't seem to notice the difference! However, Overstock's prompt shipping and customer care is impressive!

I have been using a water pillow for about 10 years now. They have served me well, but when my latest one sprung a leak I decided to look at alternatives. I had a latex pillow when I was a young boy, but that was long ago, and I wasn't certain it it would be the right solution for me now. I looked at down alternatives (I am allergic to down) as well as granulated latex, and pillows made of wool batting as well as pillows filled with wool "pearls." I decided that a solid latex core would probably work best for me, and boy does it. I am a side sleeper, and sometimes I have neck issues. This pillow is soft and springy, and at first I was concerned that it was too soft to provide proper support for my neck. It has not been a problem at all. Latex is naturally resilient, so when I first lay my head on the pillow it descends into a cloud of softness, that then subtly rebounds until my head has just the right level of support to keep my neck in line with my body - it's almost like magic. Combined with the 100% latex mattress I purchased recently, I am now sleeping better than ever, and waking up in the morning without aches and pains. If you are worried about a latex pillow sleeping hot, this one does not. The cotton cover is quilted with wool batting, this gives it a nice surface feel beneath the pillowcase, and it hasn't felt any hotter than your run of the mill fiber-fill pillow. I highly recommend this pillow.

The CPAPFit pillow is a terrific product that offers ideal comfort for CPAP users, with any type mask and any preferred sleeping position. I found that this pillow does all that is advertised and described, along with offering a ten year warranty – wow!! The pillow is well constructed, with three layers of quilted cotton material, so I have no doubt this product will hold up over time and maintain long lasting support and comfort. Extra buckwheat hulls are included with the product, and instructions are included for how to adjust the pillow to your liking. It is super easy to add or remove buckwheat filling; this design has a long zipper running the length of the pillow that makes for easy adjustments. I have found that foam or feather pillows don’t adjust at all to head movements and pull my CPAP mask out of place the minute I try to move or change sleeping positions. The CPAPFit pillow is a game-changer here! The buckwheat hulls in this pillow move against each other, allowing for those slight head movements or changes in sleeping positions, without the mask being pushed or pulled every time. It has no pressure points, and is easily adjustable to cradle your head, neck, and shoulders in ultimate comfort – every time. As it turns out, I had to have a tooth extracted two days after I received this pillow; the pillow easily adapted to my mask and ice packs with no problem, no matter what position I slept in. What a relief when you are in pain or not feeling well to know you will sleep comfortably with this pillow, regardless! As a new CPAP user, it can be difficult to get used to the pressures of a mask on your face/ head, and titration pressures. Who wants the added frustration of a pillow that doesn’t adjust no matter what you try? This product eliminates the need for different contoured pillows, and encourages quality sleep and CPAP compliance. The buckwheat hulls in the CPAPFit pillow have no odor, no dust, and minimal noise during movement. I also think this pillow would be a great choice for anyone that is pregnant and/ or anyone who suffers from pain, stiffness, or joint problems. It is easy to tailor this product to your individual comfort level and needs. This pillow is unique and there is nothing else like it on the market- I highly recommend it!

These pillows were a great deal, so I decided to give them a try. We have had the pillows for a couple of weeks now. When they first arrived they were soft and fluffy, like hotel pillows. As time went on, they lost their loft and now they are not comfortable at all.

We were in need of some fresh new pillows for the guest room. Ordered these mainly for the hypoallergenic quality; however, I found them to be very, very soft -- really little support at all. They were fresh and clean and I liked the cotton. Simple. Pretty. Not expensive. Just, rather ordinary.

Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Throw pillows covered in delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, will have to be dry-cleaned, as will throw pillows stuffed with down or feathers. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
Down provides a luxuriously soft pillow that will cradle your head in a cloud of comfort. Not all down pillows are the same, however, and your personal sleeping habits, combined with the pillow's construction, are important factors to consider when choosing a down pillow. By understanding some of the industry standards, you can compare down pillow attributes and select the best pillow for your sleep needs. Look below to learn how to choose a down pillow.
