I have bad allergies to dust and bought these pillow protectors along with new pillows. I bought the standard pillow size and they are more than large enough for the new standard size pillows. I have been using them for about 2 weeks now and I think they are great! I haven't noticed any crinkly sound that some plastic covers have and I haven't had really bad allergies either. I would definitely recommend this product to others who have allergies.

I was a little concern on the quality of the product because of the price. I was thinking to good to be true. But this product is great. I have some members of the family that drool at night and I was concern about keeping my new pillows clean. So far the product works great, pillows are clean. I also like that there is not "crunch" sound with this product like with other waterproof items in the past. So you don't get the noise when you sleep. The product is soft, but I put an additional pillow case on top. This product does not cause any sliding out from pillow case. My recommendation for washing is wash with warm and other like colors, but dry on low to medium heat as to not damage the product plastic or causing "balling" of the Terry cloth.

I had toyed with buying pillow protectors for a long time, but was surprised to find how expensive they were in most of the stores -- and usually they were 100% polyester or made of some sort of vinyl. But I finally found these on Overstock -- which were about 1/4th the price of those in the stores. They make SUCH a big difference. No longer do I have to wash my pillows so frequently, because no longer are they subject to perspiration stains and discolored now that they are protected with this inner case. I can imagine how it would be easy to overlook the need for such a thing, especially when there are so many wonderful items on Overstock that one can buy and actually see and display when they are in use. But even though this is an item you never actually see when it is in use, it is absolutely essential if you want to keep your pillows from being destroyed. Never again will I go without using pillow protectors -- especially at this price. I have bought them repeatedly for every pillow I have in the house, and I highly recommend that anyone else considering buying them to do so. Pillows are expensive! Protect your investment!
