These pillow protectors feel plasticy and have an abrasive surface that can be felt even through a pillow case. The plastic inside also traps air, making my pillow feel like a balloon. I suppose if you truly need allergy relief from your pillow and a cloth pillow protector won't do, then these will do the job. If you're looking for just a pillow protector or moderate allergy protection then definitely find something more comfortable. I ended up throwing these away my first night after not being able to sleep.

These pillow covers were as stated on the site. There were six in the package, at a bargain price compared to other pillow covers I have seen in different stores such as macy's and bed, bath and beyond. However, they were not very comfortable. They changed the feeling of the pillows and made the pillows uncomfortable enough that I decided to stop using them. The material is not total plastic. It's something like a hybrid between fabric and plastic. They make some noise with movement, but it's not very loud or perceptible. My main complaint about them is, as I stated, they changed the comfort of the pillow, making it less soft and squishy. For me, the covers seem to almost fill up with air and create almost air pockets between the pillow and the cover. When I let the air out, it still was uncomfortable and almost heavy on my pillows. I use both feather and synthetic, feather-like pillows. I think if you use Firm or very Firm pillows it might not be as much of an issue.

Very poor quality, but relatively cheap in price. Half of them did not survive the initial laundering.

Good pillow cases. Quality zippers and a good value.My only complaint is that they have a bit of a plastic feel. They make a little bit of noise when you move around on them, similar to crinkling paper. But I anticipate that will stop over time as I wash them more. Overall very happy.

I recently purchased some new pillows from the O along with these pillow protectors. The protectors fit very well and will do what they are intended to do just fine.

These case covers are extremely well made and a great bargain for the price. They are a bit of a tight squeeze for overstuffed pillows, normal and flatter sized pillows fit fine.

they had full size and finished look. could be used by themselves if you were short of pillow cases.

These are nice pillow covers that are well-made. They had a bit of a chemical odor out of the package, which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, and they required a bit of airing out before putting them on the pillow. I like the fabric as well; they have an interesting weave pattern, unlike other anti-allergy pillow covers that I've purchased.

These work very well and are quite comfortable. I highly recommend them.

I've never purchased pillow protectors before, but since I invested $$$ in new pillows, it seemed like a good idea. These feel sort of paperey...like paper coated with a some type of flexible plastic. They rustle a lost and I'm not sure I am going to be able to deal with that. I have only had them less than a week, so I will see how they work out. They seems a little over priced for what they are, but as I said, I have never purchased pillow protectors before.

Very nice quality. Intend to replace all my pillow protectors with this product.

These pillow covers were not what I expected, but they go on easily, are very easy to cover with a normal case, and feel good under your head. I really like them! They are light weight, too. Although I have not washed them, yet, they are of a material that feels as though it washes well and dries quickly.

bought these for guest pillows - think they may make a noise while being used. they feel (and look) like paper covers.

I bought new down pillows on Overstock, and wanted to protect them from allergens and other stuff that might like to take up residence in them. Also I often have company visit, so good linens and bed dressings are important to me. I am very happy with this product.

These covers are more for hotels. The cover makes you sweat because it does not breathe. These will protect pillows from staining but not comfortable for everyday use.
