These sheets are soooooo much nicer than what is available at Macy's or Bed, Bath & Beyond...they are soft and well made - solid stitching with no loose threads. Yes, they are a little heavier due to the quality of the sheet (they are not thin paperweight sheets), however we do not get hot like you would under flannel sheets. We are happy with this purchase and plan to buy another set.
I bought these sheets just a couple of months ago. I switch out with other pairs. One whole seam busted. They just aren't very durable nor is the softness what I'm accustomed to when purchasing great quality sheets. I'm pretty disappointed, and searching now for a new set!
I received these sheets, the color was not what I ordered. I ordered white, and received the cream color - which by the way has more of a yellow hue to it than what's shown in the picture. I called Overstock and they took them back and paid the return postage as it was there error not mine. I did feel the sheets prior to returning and they didn't feel that soft to me.
Great feel and quality. I've washed them twice and I'm pleased. The sheet fit is very good. The pillow cases are a bit big. I have a couple of older overstuffed feather pillows that are usually a challenge to jam into a pillowcase, my pillows are loose in these. But, a relatively minor issue. They feel great!
I love these sheets. The description mentions "fine linen," which is technically inaccurate -- but they do FEEL like fine linen. The weave is so tight the sheets feel crisp just like back in the day when sheets were put out on a clothes line and I love that! If you don't want wrinkles, don't let the sheets sit in the dryer. They need to be taken out of the dryer promptly and folded to prevent wrinkes.
My first time buying 800 thread count sheets. You can totally tell the difference between 400 thread count and 800 count. They also add a layer of warmth under the down comforters because of the thickness of the material. stays in place and doesn't get wrinkled easily.
