Down and feather-filled products are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of airing usually removes the odor.
We recommend that this comforter is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.
The digital images we display have the most accurate color possible. However, due to differences in computer monitors, we cannot be responsible for variations in color between the actual product and your screen.

This comforter has some pretty substantial weight to it. Great for living in Michigan's winters....probably way too much warmth for a southern state. Beautiful and well made!Read More
When my comforter arrived and I unpacked it I left it out for a few days before putting it on my bed. It was still quite wrinkled. However, after several days the wrinkles did come out. I absolutely love this comforter. It is so warm and cozy and yet very light. We stay nice and warm even with our cold New England nights! I would recommend it. Be patient and tbe wrinkles will come out!Read More
Only trouble was when I bought a duvet for it and found it too hot. It's nice and toasty just like it is. Glad I bought it.Read More
I read a number of the reviews on this product and I'm glad I didn't let a few of the bad ones keep my from buying this product. It came as advertised and I did NOT notice any bad smell. It did sound a bit crinkly/crunchy as some have said, but I only think I noticed it because it was said in a few of the reviews. The comforter is large, more than adequate to fit on my queen bed. It is warm and most important, the feathers have not bunched up like my old comforter. What a relief. I keep mine in a duvet cover, but the color was true to the pictures. I live in Buffalo, so this comes in handy on cold nights! This is a great buy and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mostly down comforter.Read More
I usually don't buy something if I don't know the brand but I gave this a shot and am so glad I did! This comforter was made by Northern Nights to sell on a shopping channel. I know this because it is on the bag. Comes with a 5 year warranty. I had a Northern Nights comforter years ago and was really happy so this is great. I don't like the added weight of a duvet which is why I wanted a colored comforter. I got the Orchid which has more blue than pink in it. Although there is a different color on each side they are very similar. The diamond pattern is really nice looking and being oversized, which was a huge selling point for me, is fantastic. This is a great medium comforter for winter in California. Once I got warmed up, I had it tented over me with all this heat being held in. I was warm the entire night. It was perfect. I am thinking of getting another color just to have that is how much I like this thing.Read More
This comforter was much thinner than I was expecting - it's only about an inch thick - and it is very light. I doubt it will be very warm. The color of the picture lead me to believe the comforter would be more of a dusky rosy color, almost faded with just a little hint of grey. The actual color is peachy pink, and was my biggest disappointment. I plan on returning this item.Read More
This comforter is not a quality item. The feathers come through the fabric cover. It is awful. There is an awful smell coming from the comforter when you first get it. It will last for about 2 - 3 weeks. They warn you about this, but it was awful enduring it.Read More
Ordered in Cappuccino, color was a bit lighter than expected from the picture. Very warm, but the cover makes a sort of crinkly sound that we're hoping will wear down after a while. Stitching on the pattern has some sort of issue so that the threads keep coming up but are still attached on both ends so that our arms and wrists keep managing to get trapped under them. The "oversizedness" of the comforter isn't too impressive, but it does the job of covering the top of the bed.Read More
Very happy with this comforter...extra large, easy to fluff, very cozy (warm). Cover is dense enough that it does not allow down to escape. Only complaint is that it was very wrinkled due to packing, and it really needed a light press to make it look its best. Color was spot on to what I saw on the site.Read More

1. What is the weight of the full-queen? 2. How dark is the orchid, and is the reverse the same, but lighter shade? (I ordered the peony and it is a brighter PINK than the picture, had to return as it doesn't match my color scheme)
The weight is 7.45 pounds. It is a mid-tone. Both sides are the same.
What is the other color on the Sterling. I can't really tell what the colors look like. Is the sterling a true silver?
Tjhe comforter labeled as "sterling" as depicted as grey with pink reverse, they should order the "slate" option. The sterling color is more of an aqua blue than a true blue.
what is the origin of the down stuffing? We live in the North East USA would be all season? Is it box baffled so the down stays put?
The Comforter is mad in the USA. this is rated as a medium warmth, and the stitching is a diamond in diamond pattern.
