I have read a lot of good reviews about this comforter so I decided to give it a try even it is quite costly. however, what I received that was a wrong product and the product was not made in the untied states but in china. I wanted to buy local made so that I did not even open it and immediate returned it. Disappointed.Read More
I wanted my hotel monogrammed duvet to be full and fluffy. Every other comforter was too small. This one fills every inch of the cover and my bed looks fantastic! It's fluffy, full and light yet warm! Even though it is pricey, it's worth the money.Read More
I bought this to replace the lousy feather comforter I had inside my duvet cover. This one is the perfect size and is a great weight. It was very difficult to find an oversized comforter and this one is is just right. It is a great buy and I would definitely recommend it.Read More

Very good quality, made a real difference with the appearance of the bed. Finally took up the extra space in the duvet cover. Very plump. Great price, quick ship.Read More
This arrives really deflated. When I took it out of the box I was really worried. But it respods really well to fluffing and it only took about 10 minutes to have it really full and fluffy. I think that it runs a bit large to siza. I ordered the queen for my temperpedic queen bed and it fits very nicely. The seams on the edges are very nicely done - setting it apart as a high quality item.Read More
I got mine yesterday and washed it immediately. The insulation stays evenly distributed and washed fine in my front load wash. Drying was more work even with the front load because this thing is big and fluffs up after washing even more. I dried on low to normal temp and manually moved it every five minutes or so to avoid heater burns from the drier. It took a while but it dried great and is fantastic! Nice and fluffy but the right amount of firmness. Was quite surprised with this being a down alternative!Read More
I love the size of this comforter, finally a true oversized comforter. It is a great value also, it was the first one I found this size that didn't cost three hundred or more. Very happy with it.Read More
Great product, exactly what I was looking for. Very warm--I'm always cold, but I get warm immediately under this comforter and stay warm all night. Lightweight and fluffy.Read More

Best Fills for Down Comforters
Warm and incredibly soft, down comforters are the height of luxurious bedding. Like all other bedding, down comforters can range from inexpensive to costly. The proof is in the filling. Inexpensive down comforters are filled with a combination of down and polyester or down and feathers. The best down comforters, which are usually also the most expensive, are full of pure, thick down. Take a look below to learn the best fills for down comforters. Hungarian goose down: Hungarian goose down is considered the most luxurious type of down. These extreme cold-weather birds have very thick, almost odorless tufts of down at the base of their feathers. This heavy, long-lasting down is most often used in comforters with a fill rating of 800, which means they can keep a person warm even in cold conditions. Eiderdown: Eiderdown is harvested by hand from the abandoned nests of Eider ducks, which pluck the down from their own backs and use it to cover their eggs. Eider ducks live in cold climates, so their down is thick and heavy. It is used in high-quality comforters with a fill rating of between 700 and 800. Eider duck down is the only type of duck down used in high-quality comforters. All other duck down is usually considered too smelly (and some duck down has tiny barbs) and is used in much less expensive comforters. Grey and white goose down: Grey goose down is used in dark comforters due it its grey color, but it is the same as white goose down in all other ways. Grey and white goose down, which is usually harvested from European or Chinese geese, is the most popular type of down used in middle-price-range pure down comforters. These comforters usually have a fill rating of 600 and above. Hypodown: Hypodown is a mixture of white goose down and milkweed. This all-natural filling is hypoallergenic and much more durable than pure down comforters. While pure down is still considered to be the preferable fill for comforters by most people, hypodown is gaining popularity with consumers who want a longer lasting product without synthetic fills.
