WOW! This comforter is amazing. When I opened the box and removed it I thought there had been a mistake and that Overstock had sent a down comforter instead of alternative down. It's like sleeping wrapped up in a cloud.....so light and warm. No noise and absolutely no odor. Perfect for Oregon winters. Looks flat and fluffly on the bed. It truly is oversized and over filled. A Queen would probably have done the job, but if you like a lot of overhang, King is the way to go. No exaggeration, this comforter will make it very hard for you to get out of bed in the morning.

This is an excellent comforter. Our family has used down comforters for the past 30 years. My daughter (23) doesn't like them because you constantly have to shake them to redistribute the down. I got it for her for Christmas and she insists it is far better than down and it's like sleeping in a warm cloud. Very happy with this purchase and will recommend it to everyone.

We got this duvet just as the weather broke into cooler nights. My goodness, it's so warm and thick and heavy. We love it. It fit out king sized bed with a nice amount of overlap. The only thing missing that would make it perfect would be some ties at the corners and the middle of the top and bottom to secure to my duvet cover... other than that I'd recommend this duvet to anyone wanting warm, snuggly comfort.

I have a king size bed, so I’m looking for a comforter that is big so that I don’t have to fight for the comforter with my husband during the night. After we used this comforter for a couple of weeks, both of us love it so much! It is big enough to cover both of us on the king size bed, and it is so soft and comfortable, I can’t believe it works so well for us!! I will just buy another one to keep it since I’m just afraid it may be gone when I want to buy another one a few years later!! Highly recommend it to everyone!

I cannot believe how HEAVY and WARM this comforter is! We were only able to use it a few times this winter, however, because we had an incredibly warm winter this year. (No sub-zero temps that I remember.) Anyhow, I do think that was a great purchase because I am SURE that we'll need it next year. We only needed to have this comforter on top of our sheets and we were toasty warm. If you like the feel of heavy blankets, you'll like this. (If you don't care for that feeling, you might not like this.)

This comforter is definitely "oversized". If you are planning to use it to fill a Duvet Cover then be warned that it will not fit into a standard size. If you simply want warmth then this s the perfect comforter. Very warm.

I bought this comforter for our bed after an extenisive search on the internet and because of the reviews on overstock. It feels like a down comforter, and is very warm with a lot of loft. My husband loves it and it fits well inside the queen duvet cover. I think it is definitely a winter weight and will probably be too warm for summer weather.

This is a pretty warm comforter, I got the king size because I have a queen bed and wanted it to hang off the sides a bit. It is pretty soft on its own but I purchased a duvet cover to keep it clean,

Bought this for the guest room where my daughter and son in law stay. Added a little bit of Heaven to a nice bed and makes them feel loved and wlecome. I was tempted to buy one for me but the comforter I bought from Overstck a few years ago is still in great shape, fluffy and wlecoming like this one. It was much better quality than similarly priced local stores and arrived quickly in time for t he latest family visit!

It is definitely a winter comforter. Very warm. Ususlly I can wrap up in one of these watching tv and this one is ery very warm.

The product is huge and heavy in the king size, but it's excellent quality, lofty. and fills a duvet cover beautifully. Not too heavy to sleep under, just BIG and fluffy.

Gets 1 star for the way it feels because it is incredibly soft to the touch, another for the warmth factor (just the right amount), and I think it’s fair to give it at least one more for the price. Really can’t beat how inexpensive it is. The down fill however is lumpy within each boxed-stitch square, and is shifting pretty badly. One example – some squares will only be filled 1/4 – 1/2, and then the rest of the square will be totally flat. It’s put up now (hello warmer weather!), but while it was on my bed it did look kinda strange to be honest. Too much of a hassle to return, and again it does feel extremely soft, so what the hey, I kept it. Don’t expect high quality, but you can expect cuddling up with something very soft!

Cuddly and comfy, no need for any other bed covering and looks lovely in any room with its crisp white color. Don't hesitate to purchase this item.

This is a nice, lightweight comforter. The quality seems good and the comforter itself is silky smooth. It's a shame i bought it to stuff in a duvet. The reason i knocked off a couple stars is because it's a little thinner than i was hoping for. Also, some of the squares aren't as filled as others. But I will say it keeps me very warm. My last down alternative was heavy weight so it was an adjustment having such a lightweight cover on me but i like it. The size was good. My duvet actually isn't big enough to accommodate the comforter but it's nice because it makes it look fluffier because it's smashed in there. :) Over all this is a nice comforter for the price. P.S. if you're looking for something to look smooth inside you're duvet this may not be what you're looking for. I can see the squares of the comforter through the duvet. No biggie for me.

i had looked at many comforters because i bought a west elm duvet cover that is a unique size. this was a few inches of on one side, the price was right, and i took the risk. it fits the duvet well, is warm, and fluffy. so far it's only been a week but i am very content with it.

I ordered TWO of these comforters, and I was not disappointed. It is very soft and very warm. Great price and it is delivered to your front door--doesn't get any better than that!
