    Down and feather-filled products are packaged tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove this item from its packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours for full loft recovery. In addition, products sealed in plastic packaging sometimes have a disagreeable scent because of concentrated natural fibers. A few hours of airing typically removes the odor.

    We recommend that this item is fluffed at least once a week to maintain down distribution.

  • Love this Comforter

    I did alot of research before I bought this comforter-- comparing the fill power and prices and finally decided on this one. And I'm so glad I did. It's so nice and warm; the fill power is just the right amount-- it's not too heavy but not light and flat either. It's just perfect.

  • Best for the buck

    Outstanding size and quality for the money. It definitely does not "crinkle" or "crunch", as some do, to keep you awake, is very warm especially with a fannel duvet cover, perfect for a 63 degree or cooler bedroom. The oversize is perfect for deep mattresses, and I had been looking for this for a long time for my King bed. The amount of down is just perfect. Nothing fancy with the cover, and don't think you have to have higher TC for a good comforter. This will satisfy and not break the bank!

  • No way this is 500 Fill!

    I am very disappointed in this product. It looks nice, but there is no way it is 500 fill. We already own several down comforters, so I can state this. This is a low-fill down comfortor for warmer temperatures. As far as it goes, it is fine, but don't be confused that it actually has much loft. Also, it is not "oversized" as is stated in the description. This is a standard size comforter, which means it is actually a little small for a duvet cover purchased for the same size. (For some reason, they make duvet covers much bigger than the standard sizes of comforters.) I will be returning my purchase, as it was not what I thought it would be. The photo on the page shows a plump thick down comforter, and this is NOT plump and thick.

  • Disappointing!!

    After carefully reading all of the reviews and doing some additional research, I figured I was getting a bargain. I was so excited to receive my purchase by the 3rd day, but my excitment quickly turned to disappoint. After "airing and fluffing" this item, it still does NOT resemble the "fluffiness" that is pictured. The over fill mentioned would lead you to believe that this is going to be super fluffy. This is not the case at all. Some parts of the comforter is visibly more flatter then others. Maybe I ended up with a bad one, but in either event, I am none to pleased to have spent money on something I am not happy with. It will be going back.

  • nothing oversized about it

    I received this comforter and it is flat as a pancake, has no lift to it at all even after weeks on my bed. As it's complicated to make a return and I've had problems before I opted to keep it anyway to use a a light light weight summer alternative

  • very good features in down comforter

    325 thread seems OK, but there is minor leakage of fine down. A duvet is recommended. The smell is non-existent in the unit I got. The stitching is very good quality. Got a duvet with button closure and that really makes this great. Remember that this Queen is 9 inches LARGER than standard queen. So when you get a cover, find the largest you can find. Used three times for overnight guests thus far. The people who used it loved its softness and its warmth. Make sure the cover will keep in the small amount of loose down that does get out of the comforter. This is my 5th down comforter (need ones in house and motorhome). This is one of the best thus far even though it has fewer ounces that other units. Only time will tell its durability.

  • The most wonderful comforter

    This is the most wonderful comforter. I looked for a long time for this and am so happy I picked this one. It was so worth the price. I have purchased several comforters from Overstock for gifts but this one is the very best. The moment I received it and shook it up I was pleased. It puffed right up and after putting it in the duvet It puffed up even more. After five months it is still puffy. I don't need to mention that it is so warm and like sleeping under a nice warm cloud. It was such a good buy. In a department store this comforter would cost $300.00 or more. If you are looking for a warm, evenly filled, puffy comforter definitely get this one.

  • Do not buy this

    Feathers everywhere in my room.. On my clothes, furniture.. I can't believe more people have not mentioned this!!! I would never have purchased.. To much of a pain to return
