It would be a great little blanket...warm, thick, etc., BUT it sheds like nothing I've ever seen before. There are chunks of fuzz all over my apartment, and to boot it gets in my eyes and makes them itchy; it catches on my razor stubble and I go to work with fuzz all over me. If you don't mind the crazy shedding, then its a good blanket.

When I read a previous review on this throw I was intrigued. The review stated something along the lines of ugly as homemade sin but the most comfortable throw this person has ever owned. Being a morning book reader I love to cover up with a cozy throw and read the morning away, so I had to give this one a try. It is by far the best throw I have ever owned (and I have a closet full). It is just as ugly as the picture shows, but it is the only one DURING THE WINTER TIME for me. Sadly, I will have to give it up during the summer months since it does heat you up quickly.The only complaint that I have but do not let this deter you from comfort like you have never known before with a throw is that it does lint quite a bit. The first run through the dyer and cleaning the lint trap will give you an idea how linty it is. I am sure that in time it will reduce in shedding.All I can say is buy (such a low price and such a bargain....why resist?!) and enjoy.

At first sight, this blanket is a steal! I wanted to buy 3 more. They are great as travel doggie blankets because of the padding inside. The only problem is that it sheds uncontrollably. It's sort of out of control. No matter what they look like though, my dog cannot get enough of it, so I might have to buy more inspite of the shedding.

This throw is SO warm and snuggly, but it will leave its mark anywhere you use it. The throw sheds quite a bit, though not as much as when I first got it. Despite the shedding, I still LOVE the blanket. It is very soft, and keeps you so warm.

Ok. This is a nice throw, BUT it sheds like there's no tomorrow. My whole house, including kitten's tail, is full of little brownish blue tidbits... You absolutely need to wash this throw before using it. Now it's super uncomfortable to get all those tiny pieces off the sheets, clothing, etc. Price is good. Throw is soft and big enough. But, boy, does it shed! I would not have bought it if I'd known. But what's done, done...

This throw is the perfect size to cover up with anywhere. It looks beautiful and feels so soft, but it sheds on everything it touches!!! I am afraid to wash it in my own washing machine because of the amount it sheds, but I am planning on taking it to the Laundromat to wash & dry it. If it turns out good, I will increase all the ratings to the best they can be. Everyone who sees it comments on how soft and beautiful it is, but their clothes are covered with fuzz after they cover up with it. It is a steal at this price if it just didn't shed.

Oh I HATE what you do to my washer, blanket... I hate all the extra fluffy! I hate laying on you with my stockings and all the lint you left behind. But I LOVE YOU BLANKET! I'M ONLINE looking for another one of you! Please come back to overstock! My husband calls you the "sleepy blanket" and I fight him for it every night. :(

I will admit this blanket is ugly, but it is soooo warm! My daughter made fun of it when I got it, but guess what? Now she wants one of her own! Of course they are sold out so I will be on the waiting list for one! I don't buy blankets for looks, I buy them for warmth and this is by far the warmest blanket I have ever owned!

This product is a good quality product. However, don't make the mistake of washing it on your own. It will break apart all over the place. I don't underatand why a throw can't be made to be machine washable. Why must it be professionally wased? This would be a much better throw if you can wash it at HOME yourself.

This blanket is absolutely wonderful and comfy!!! It definitely surpassed my expectations!

I had read the reviews of others and decided to take a chance this would work for us. I bought 2 of them for our basement room that we were just about done with. When they got here my 13yr old son ask me why I bought rugs, everyone joke about them not being cute, but I tell you they are wonderful and warm. Everyone loves them even the dogs and cats. They do shed like everyone else said but I dont find it to be to overwhelming. I bought 2 more a week later and I am on the list to be emailed when more come in. It is very much worth the price I paid.

I bought this quilt for my daughter-in-law, for her Mother's Day gift. She called me and told me she loved the quilt and how it matched her furniture. But, most of all she could not stop telling me how soft the quilt was and that she was never sharing the quilt with anyone else in the house. The quilt was hers and her alone. I am convinced I need to buy one of these fantastic quilts for myself now. Thanks to all who shared about the quilt, because that is what convinced me to buy it!

I bought these for myself and my husband because we are both tall and can never find a throw blanket that would cover our feet. Well these do the trick and quite well. The only downfall is they shed ALOT! It says they need professionally cleaned but we shall see about that. I highly recommend this throw if you want to keep warm and look good. My 7 year old absolutely loves them!

I love this throw!!!! It is so soft and cuddly. I would definitely recommend to it to everyone. We all fight over who is going to cover with it. I may have to order another one.

OMG!! Have you ever wondered what the clouds would feel like if you could touch them? This blanket will give you the answer to that! This is the 3rd one I have ordered!! My whole family races for these blankets when we stretch out for TV time, even the animals fight over who gets to lay on it!! I know the color is not so perfect, but it's a cheap enough price, dye it! Don't let the price fool you either, this is the most wonderful blanket I have ever felt of! It does shed ALOT when you first get it, so don't use it till you have washed and dryed it about 8 or 10 times. That takes care of all the shedding and then you have your own little piece of the clouds!! I will be ordering more, until everyone has one of their own, but you better hurry, because I need 8 more and I hope they keep them in stock, but at this price, they are bound to sell out!

I bought this blanket for my son, which he loves. After I used it once, I had to get one for myself because it is so nice. It is not heavy weight but very soft and warm. It does shed a little at first but it does stop. I would recommend this product it you want a cozy blanket.

This blanket is ugly as homemade sin. But it's still my favorite out of about 10 throw blankets that I own because it is sooo snuggly. The weight is perfect (a little heavy) and it is really soft. I don't have trouble with the fuzz. Bought one for myself because of the price, but then bought 6 more to give to family members. As others have said, it should come in other color options,but I still love it!

This blanket is incredible! VERY comfortable and warm, and oh-so-nice to snuggle up with. I wish it came in more colors, I'd buy more!

A warm blanket. Size is good for average person. Someone over 6' wouldn't be completely covered. My only complaint is that it sheds a lot. You have to wash it once or twice before you use it. Otherwise very good.
