I bought this because of night sweats. I would have to change my gown at least once a night. Since I bought this pad, I've only had night sweats a couple of times. I have a foam mattress, and it might have been some of the problem. Whatever the reason, this mattress pad is well worth the money!Read More

To get the most Ďcoolí experience I would personally recommend getting the duvet (or blanket) and pillow too. It is good quality and washes well. So far, I am very pleased.Read More
I'm a hot sleeper and my wife is a cold sleeper. This has presented us some issues in terms of the products we purchase. Either I'll like something and she won't, or vice versa. We read up on Outlast and decided to bite the bullet and purchase everything, including pillows, a mattress pad, sheets, and a new comforter. When we laid everything out and went to sleep that first night, the differences were apparent. Everything is cool to the touch, and the sleep system does a great job of taking the excess heat away so that I can enjoy a night of sleep without constantly shifting my body or flipping the pillow. My wife says that the system stays at a good temperature for her and doesn't cool down to the point of making her feel cold. Needless to say, we're both very impressed. We already have an adjustable bed due to our different needs for firm vs soft sleeping, and these items finished off exactly what we needed.Read More
The main reason I ordered this mattress pad was because of the "Outlast" material used in the product. After reading numerous reviews, I was convinced it would help keep me cooler during the night. I don't suffer from night sweats, but I do wake up occasionally during the night, throwing back the covers and flipping my pillow because I'm quite hot and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it's not as effective as I thought it would be. Maybe in the summertime, it will work better, but right now, in the middle of winter, it doesn't make a difference. And we turn our thermostat down to 60 at night. I do want to mention, though, that the quality is excellent. There's generous elastic around the entire pad, and fits nicely on our oversized Kingsdown mattress. Bottom line, a little pricey for a nice mattress pad.Read More
