I was nervous about spending for this item, but am now happy with the result. The topper is just as advertised, and it smells fine - which is to say, not at all. Just comfy and excellent.Read More
This mattress topper is organically friendly and odorless. It is a very comfortable topper and made very well.Read More
We had a hard Temperpedic mattress that we had tolerated for years. Our mattress sets high on our bed frame and I am short, so I hesitated getting a topper. It is worth the high vault. Our bed is no longer hard and hot, but soft and warm.Read More
The first night was like sleeping on a cloud! The pad settles a bit, but I just keep turning and shaking it... my back and limb problems have all but disappeared! I used to wake up achy on my 14 inch latex/foam bed (which is firm like I like), but I had planned on buying a topper I could flip and turn if I wanted, and replace if necessary.. I would never buy a bed with a built in topper, because they all eventually flatten out.....plus you can't flip the bed....this topper was the perfect solution. Again, like sleeping on a cloud...I have also tried down or feather beds...not supportive at all...this wool topper is the best topper of all. Also, no smells, light enough to shake out and flip / turn. No sleeping hot either. Also, I would not get a thinner one. In the words of Goldilocks this topper makes my bed "just right"!Read More
I bought this because I love love love my 1 1/2" pure wool grow mattress topper. I decided to give the 1 1/2" pad to my daughter and buy the 3" pad for ourselves because thicker must be better right ?(and her mattress is pillow top to begin with)? Your first impression is that you are on a cloud of comfort. I ordered a new firm mattress recently and it is too firm. So we slept on this seeming cloud of comfort and, unlike the narrower depth, this one does not allow air to circulate under the body as claimed. Instead ,during the course of the night, you develop hot temperature spots at pressure points. It is questionable that the outer cover is 100% organic cotton because it looks and feels like ordinary cotton sateen. If this too hot of a temperature continues every night, it will be a worthless investment I am sorry that I fell for a bigger must be better mentality. It is hard to believe that the two different sized toppers are made by the same company. This one's enclosed literature does not state even state 100% organically grown cotton and wool.Read More
I bought this because my mattress is high quality and in "ok" condition, it's about halfway through it's lifetime, but it's a traditional style with a small pillow top and I just don't like it that much. I wanted to buy a new latex mattress with natural wool topper, and a new frame to support it, but it's a big investment. So, for the time being, I bought this to make the top more supportive but soft, and to allow air circulation to move better as it's often too hot halfway through the night. Being that my goals were to: 1) soften the bed 2) even out the support of the bed on an aging mattress 3) improve air circulation so that we don't get too hot I would say it did a pretty good job, and was thick enough. I have a 14 inch thick mattress and this added another 3 inches. I have high quality but not super deep sheets and for the most part they work, though they're pretty stuffed now. You may also want to consider getting a dustmite cover or a zip cover for the topper so that if you have spills, or manage not to change your sheets as often as you'd like, etc, it won't gain any scent or stain as a result.Read More
Finally able to spend the whole night in my bed. It does develope some warm spots as the night wears on, but I just move to a cool spot.Read More
Absolutely wonderful for an older flip bed [or any bed for that matter]. Extremely comfortable, not hot nor cold, but just right. I have slept the best in years due to this topper...Better than feather, better than down, better than any of those latex toppers. I would buy another one of these toppers, rather than one of those newer synthetic non flip mattresses sold today...Read More
My husband and i are so happy with this cover we been on the search for a good cover that supports your back as well as gives svonfort I am so happy. We purchased cover in the past we have tried foam covers and i am not sure but i believe they hurt my back because they did not allow it to make it natural curve....I would recommend this product to anyone of my friends and it was a great price...no smell like some comments and if any it was a very pleasant rustic wool smell not strong and clean........very happyyyyyy!Read More
