Overall I'm very happy with this comforter cover. I didn't buy any shams, just the cover. And actually I love that I didn't get stuck with shams because I don't use them. It fits my king size comforter with plenty of room, has a very nice button closure that is hidden five or so inches underneath so you don't see the buttons if the comforter is hanging over the end of the bed. The texture is soft, subtle, and silky. The fabric on the underside of the comforter cover is smooth and light so the cover is not heavy. Note that the pattern you see is only on the top not on the bottom. I chose the driftwood color which looks like it does on my monitor. It's an easy going taupe and would work with many decors. My colors are pale yellow, dark red and cherry wood. The comforter cover matches the carpet. It looks great. I figured I could trust Nicole Miller!
