These are very nice sheets. They are soft to the touch but not flimsy. I got the navy and it is very dark, almost black, but since this sheet set is paired with a white bed cap, it's a perfect contrast. However, not wrinkle free. Needed to iron the top edge of the top sheet and the pillow cases to get a crisp look.Read More

These sheets are very soft and have a luxurious feel. They were shipped and I received them in a timely manner and I was very happy with the way they were packed. I love the color I xhoose which is the tan but I would definitely purchase another set in any of the colors. The stitching is quality stiching and the product is overall excellent! I highly reccomend for anyone looking for a set!Read More
The sheets are good quality and came promptly. My only disappointment is that I chose the Dove color, which appears on the site to be -- as the name implies -- a pale grey. In fact, the sheets are very dark charcoal grey, almost black. I know that you can't judge colors exactly on a monitor, but there is no way that these are the pale grey that is shown. I don't like the color but I can't be bothered to return them.Read More
The description says these sheets are percale weave. They are not. They are sateen. i am very, very disappointed in this purchase. This is the second set of sheets that were misleading. I will not purchase anymore sheets from overstock.Read More

Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
