Why did you choose this product?
I am new to latex pillows and bought two of these, two Premium Natural Latex Foam Pillows, and two Natura Ideal Talalay Latex foam pillows. The softest were the Premium Natural Latex Foam Pillows, and the firmest were these pillows. The packaging notes that the Eco Natural pillows are also made of talalay latex, even though the description does not say so. I like them all, and have them stacked on my bed in different shams and pillowcases to prop me up for reading, as well as for sleeping. I am very impressed with the quality of these pillows, and wish they came in 18" and 20" square pillows as inserts for occasional pillows elsewhere in the house. I have a pinched nerve and often find it hard to get comfortable, but these help tremendously. I am a side and back sleeper, and these pillows provide good support but are soft and welcoming when I lay my head down. They do not crush like down or feather pillows that you have to keep fluffing, and they are not warm and like solid cement like memory foam. They have a high quality off-white quilted cotton zip cover that comes off for washing. I highly recommend them....

These natural latex pillows are absolutely great. High quality and don't break down or lose their body like memory foam or other pillows. Great body that supports your head where your head doesn't sink or fall into the pillow but are also soft. Just try to make sure if the height of the pillow is right for you. Latex pillows are the best pillows I ever used and I tried ALOT of pillows, also much better for me than $*** plus dollar down pillows. Are also much softer than memory foam but more supportive. Love latex pillows!Read More
I have been using a water pillow for about 10 years now. They have served me well, but when my latest one sprung a leak I decided to look at alternatives. I had a latex pillow when I was a young boy, but that was long ago, and I wasn't certain it it would be the right solution for me now. I looked at down alternatives (I am allergic to down) as well as granulated latex, and pillows made of wool batting as well as pillows filled with wool "pearls." I decided that a solid latex core would probably work best for me, and boy does it. I am a side sleeper, and sometimes I have neck issues. This pillow is soft and springy, and at first I was concerned that it was too soft to provide proper support for my neck. It has not been a problem at all. Latex is naturally resilient, so when I first lay my head on the pillow it descends into a cloud of softness, that then subtly rebounds until my head has just the right level of support to keep my neck in line with my body - it's almost like magic. Combined with the 100% latex mattress I purchased recently, I am now sleeping better than ever, and waking up in the morning without aches and pains. If you are worried about a latex pillow sleeping hot, this one does not. The cotton cover is quilted with wool batting, this gives it a nice surface feel beneath the pillowcase, and it hasn't felt any hotter than your run of the mill fiber-fill pillow. I highly recommend this pillow.Read More
I had great hopes when I ordered this pillow. Unfortunately the loft is too high. The description said medium to soft. Well it is very firm and feels like laying my head on a sack of concrete. It does have some give when you push your hand on it. Perhaps it is best for a man. I was hoping for something cushier. The cotton cover is not removable so that might be an issue down the line. Well constructed, but not for me. I guess someone else in my household will inherit this very expensive pillow. It definitely is hypoallergenic.Read More

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses

How to Wash Throw Pillows
Part of keeping a clean house is making sure all of your decorative accessories are clean. Foam-filled throw pillows with cotton covers or other washable materials, however, can be washed -- some even by machine. Nevertheless, even if a pillow appears washable, always consult the washing instruction label before attempting to wash a throw pillow -- or you may be in for an unpleasant surprise when you remove the pillow from the washing machine.
