I purchased this because it had positive reviews. I sent it back right after I received it. There was hardy any down in the middle of the comforter.

Warm, yes. But it smells od solvent or kerosene - I really don't want to have to dryclean a new comforter...

I bought this comforter a while back. It is very comfortable when it is evenly distrubuted. However as time passes the all the down goes to the sides and then there is nothing left in the middle to keep you warm. Not to mention that the weight of the down pulls the comforter off the bed. It was suppose to have boxes to keep it even and it would work if each box was sewn completely, however there is a opening in each box to allow the down to shift to the sides, which is really aggervating and a pain to have to try and fluff it back out.

This was the first down comforter I bought and I love it. It feels great, fits well in the duvet cover and has not been too hot this summer. Would definately recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this comforter! It is poofy yet light, and it's really the best comforter I've ever had in my life. When I first got it, it seemed rather flat, but after laying it out on the floor for several hours, it fluffed up quite nicely. It didn't have any unpleasant odor, it's incredibly light compared to the thick bed-in-a-bag sort of comforters you might get, and it sort of hugs you when you sleep. The fabric is slightly stiff if you're used to jersey or sateen fabrics, but as far as cotton goes, it's good quality. I'm gonna cover it with a duvet cover to keep it clean. I love it and I don't think I could ever go back to another comforter after this. GREAT BUY!

I've never owned a down comforter before but I can't imagine a better one. It's lightweight enough for the south but yet plenty poofy! Sooo soft! I took the advise of another buyer and purchased the king size for my queen bed and I'm so glad I did. It fits perfectly in my queen size duvet; fills it all the way to the edges. Everyone who has entered my bedroom has noticed this new addition and been impressed. Overstock is great for the special treats in our lives!

I purchased this down comforter, after first reviewing all of the comments from others. I bought a king, and I have a queen bed (as recommended by others). It shipped quickly and I opened the box and aired out the comforter for a day, just to be safe. There was absolutely no bad smell. This comforter is wonderful! It is light and airy, not hot. I imagine it would keep you warm up North, but not too hot for the South. It is just right if you ask me. I bought a duvet cover and have found I like it better when it's not covered (although not practical). It is wonderful. It fits perfect. My son wants to sleep in my bed every night. And yes, it's hard to get out of bed! I would definitely recommend this comforter!!

Got this for my dorm room in Ohio and really liked it. Was very nice and warm. My boyfriend always commented that he it made him really hot, so he did not sleep under it much and complained about it when he did. He also commented that it was super heavy. The comforter was on a loft style XL twin dorm bed and did slide off all of the time. Was made well, but there was more feather loss than I expected. Bought it 4 years ago and still have it til this day. Has moved 3 different times to three different climates and still works well for me.

Very disappointed in this. Tried to return but was gift for my boyfriend and exceeded time for return. Bought duvet, too but the feathers still make a mess and the shifting is ridiculous. I bought one at **** for *** on sale from *** and the thing is fluffy and fabulous with not one feather lost and no shifting. Spend the extra money. Usually Overstock is accurate with descriptions but this one failed short on many levels.

This has been a great comforter. Never having owned a down comforter before, I didn't really know what I wanted. I ordered this one and was surprised when it arrived because it seemed thinner than I expected (but definitely smelled fine despite what some other reviewers have said). In the chilly months since then, I have stayed toasty warm at night in my very drafty house. My only complaint is that the down does kind of move to the edges where the comforter drapes over the bed, but I understand that this is common. Overall, it was a good purchase and one that I would make again.

Comforter came just wrapped in a plastic bag which made me think twice about its used status . Some boxes are not filled with feathers. Does keep me warm at night which is the only plus. Not at thick as I wanted it. Not heavy at all.

I really like it but, a couple of days later I found that the down had shifted out of the squares. That is why I bought a new one so I am a little disappointed in the new one. Luck I know how to sew so I fixed the problem.

Worked so well I had to put it back in the box and save it for colder weather. With overnight lows still around 65, I've been waking up covered in sweat. With two people, it becomes a sauna. I switched back to my old dilapidated comforter that leaves me cold at night. Goldilocks will need to keep searching...

Well, let's see...value? EXCELLENT! Appearance, this is the nicest looking down comforter I've owned. Comfort, I swear there is more down in here than any other down comforter I've seen. Fabric? BEST!! I did buy a duvet because I want this protected. And to that end, there are NOT straps on this comforter so I sewed loops of fabric (that took all of ten minutes) to tie the comforter in the duvet.) Now, this comforter is sewn in a box style so the edges are finished very nicely. I love this!! My best purchase to date from Overstock! Oh, and someone wrote they needed to air theirs out for 3 days to get the normal odor out...I needed like 10 hours.You will NOT regret this purchase! =)

Very pleased with the quality and performance. This comfortor, rated mid-range for warmth, is almost too warm. I do not run my furnace in the winter due to the high gas bill so the temp. in my house is low to mid sixties - this comforter is more than enough to keep us warm at night. Would not hesitate to recommend this product.
