this comforter set is absolutely beautiful! it's soft to the touch and looks way more expensive then the actual cost. the colors are rich. we got this as a christmas present for one of our adult kids.. they LOVED it! i highly recommend it!

As noted in an earlier review, the photo does not accurately depict the amount of gold cording and gold threaded design all over the top of the comforter. However, one person's "tacky" can be another's "treasure". So, just be aware that the fabric is more gold and ornate than photographed and that gold cording trims the comforter.Construction of the comforter set is so-so; quilting consists of small (2" diameter) circles sewn at a distance of ~ 18 inches apart. For the price, I believe the set is a good value (you get a lot of bedding "pieces"), but if I paid more, I would definitely expect better quality. I largely purchased this bedding set because I love the squares (all my favorite comforters have square designs on top) and the colors (cranberry and chocolate).

I was really excited about this set since the picture makes it look so cute and the other reviews are glowing. However, the set I received is incredibly tacky. The parts that appear pinkish in the picture are bright red and shiny gold. The gold rope trim and tassles- yes, gold tassles- are truly horrifying. I love overstock, but I'm going to have to return this immediately. I'd be embarrassed to have it in my bedroom.

I was having a hard time finding bright red bedding until I came across this set. I was not crazy about the gold trimming but it grew on me as I set it up, the colors are beautiful. Great value for a complete bedding set with plenty of cute accent pillows.

This set looks like a very expensive product, very rich and plush fabrics with nice details throughout.
