This is my first time to purchase anything off of this site, so I wasn't real sure of what the quality of the bedding was going to be like, but I liked the reviews it got from other buyers. I absolutely LOVE this bedding! it is a steal of a deal, it is so beautiful, and chic, and the price is awesome! I also bought the pillow set with it, which I must say is a must, and actually after I put it on my bed I decided I needed a second pillow set to go with it. There are only 3 pillows in the pillow set and they are all different sizes, You can never dressup a bed with too many pillows, it just makes it look that much more chic! I found the color not to be as "off" as some of the reviews that I had read either. Definate gold and browns, beautiful reguardless!

Everyone needs a first time at doing something, and ordering this set from Overstock.com was defiantly my first. I sat before my computer admiring what was on the screen, but unsure if what I was seeing is what I would be receiving. I went off line for a while, but then returned. This time I took the plunge and ordered not only the comforter set in King size, but two sets of pillows along with a down-alternative comforter and duvet to put it in. When I take the plunge, I go into the deep end of the pool! Not many days after placing my order the bedding started to arrive. It was just like Christmas all over again! I first opened the boxes with the decorator comforter and matching pillows. the remaining boxes arrived the next day. Once I had every box opened and had looked the products over, I couldn't believe their beauty and quality for such a low price. They were all fantastic! Before I had logged onto Overstock.com I went to several well know department stores to look over their selection and quality. Every decorator comforter I desired to own ran way into the hundreds of dollars, and this was without buying the matching pillows or sleeping comforter and duvet to go with it. All I can say is that the quality I received through this website is as good as what I had looked at in these department stores . . . maybe even better.

We bought the bedset first and subsequently purchased the shams and decorative pillow set. It is beautiful to LOOK at, but I have a BIG word of caution regarding the fabric. If you do not have absolutely baby soft feet, your heels will pull the fabric badly. It's almost as though your heels catch on the comforter like the two opposite pieces of velcro!!! Even if your palms are the least bit rough, they will catch as well. And heaven forbid if you have an animal which you allow on the bed. Their claws just pull the fabric to shreds. Perhaps you NEVER allow an animal on the bed, but trust me on this. If you buy this comforter, fold it down before you ever lay on top of it. The comforter looks much older and worn than the dust ruffle and other pieces. Also, the pillow set is really beautiful, but the fabric pulls and frays where the seams are sewn together...not so much on the shams, but on the decorative pillows. Just a word of caution if you live a fairly active lifestyle.

This is the most luxurious comforter set, you just sink into it it's so comfortable. The quality and beauty is outstanding, I would put retail value much higher than $300. My bedroom looks like it's had a $1,000 plus makeover now. 150% TOTALLY happy!

This is a great price for the comforter, it looks like a costly comforter. The design is nice and the queen size amply fits my big mattress. The set with the pillows really looks like an expensive bed. There is also a button like design in the comforter which is nice. The only problem I have with this is the color. The picture would have you think it was a bright gold and varying colors of gold. It is a taupe brown, perhaps a bronzish looking gold. If you want a bright gold you will not find it here. On the other hand the set looks great so I kept it.

We were so impressed with the first set we bought we ordered a second set. Also ordered the pillow set. The colors go with a lot of other pillows we were able to find locally.

I recently purchased the comforter set and pillow set thinking I was going to return it because usually what you see and what you get are two different things. But to my surprise it was exactly what I wanted and the for the price and quality I am completely happy with this purchase!

This is a beautiful comforter but the fabric catches on everything and after having it for 1 year it is all pilled and look bad. OK for the price but you need to be careful with it.

I ordered this after trying several that didn't fit our new kingsize matteress that is VERY deep. I am very satisfied. It is not as bright gold as it shows in the picture and I was happy about that. It is a muted rich looking gold, much more expensive looking than it looks in the picture. I am very satisfied with this comforter set.

Don't be fooled by the website picture. This comforter set is neither gold nor luxurious. It was a beige/brown and the material was very rough and cheap feeling. I was very disappointed. I made the bed with it in hopes that it might look better spread out but it still looked cheap and was the wrong colors. It also had tons of strings hanging off of it. It just plain looks washed out.

The color of this comforter is not as bright as the picture, it's more of an antique gold, but it works in my room. It's very warm, making it perfect for a cold night. Truly this is an afordable luxury.

I ordered this and at first was going to send it back because I like brighter colors(it has a more tan/brown color than bright gold)but it looks so nice and it goes with everything so I am going to keep it but maybe buy some more pillows besides the ones that I bought to match and get them in another color to brighten it a little....very good quality....thanks!

I love it, it is absolutely gorgeous. When I go to bed now, it is all about feeling pampered, just lovely. The color is not as bright as the picture shows, but it a soft color, one which truly makes my room look like I've had a professional make-over. What really set it off was the set of matching pillows you offered with the comforter set. This is the first time I have ever been able to get a comforter set with the matching pillows (talking about quality now), and I love it. So thank you, Overstock, you made my room, and I hope you continue to offer the matching pillow sets with your quality comforter sets. As always, shipping was cheap and prompt, my set (and the other comforter and bed-in-a-bag set I ordered) came in time for me to have my bedrooms looking great for when family came to visit (due tomorrow). It is glorious. Looks like I paid hundreds for it. The pillow set is the crowning jewel. I just love it.

I really love this comforter. It is made of beautiful muted gold colors. I have seen better quality, but they cost a lot more. This is great quality for the money. We fold it to the bottom of the bed and sleep with a down comforter underneath so I worry less about damaging the comforter. I am very pleased with this purchase. I just wish I knew where to purchase the matching accent pillows.

Beautiful set for the money however wrinkles detract from overall appearance. After a month still trying to find a way to remove wrinkles other than sending to dry cleaner. Comforter is heavy and very warm and exactly as pictured. Cannot give a higher rating because of the heavy wrinkles.

I saw this comforter set on line and knew it was just what I wanted. The golden color was great-subtle and not too bright. It has 2 pillow shams and a bedskirt, which is all I needed. Most of the sets now have too many pillows and stuff with them. The fabric quality is great. It looks much more expensive than it is. Love the braiding and all the trim. Great bargain! Perfect!!

I needed a change but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars. I ordered this set on Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday! The one issue that buyers need to be aware of is the color. It is a darker shade than the picture seems to indicate. That is just fine with me but if you are looking for a cream or ivory tone, you will be unhappy. This is more brown and gold tone. I am very pleased with it. It is just the pick me up I was looking for!

I had bought and returned 4 other comforter sets, having a hard time matching the color I needed for our master bedroom. Another review stated that this set was more of a brown gold, which is what I needed, so I bought it, and it is a perfect color match for my needs. I didn't realize the material had a lot of rayon in it, so it does wrinkle quite easily, but for the overall , I am so happy with the set. The comforter is a nice size, not skimpy like some other sets, even from high end stores. All in all, I am very happy with everything and would recommend highly especially at this great price.

Nice quality ....good price....I just wish the other pieces ...like the pillows....were available....
