I wasn't expecting raw silk at this price, but $xx.xx is priced high for this set. The quality is the lowest quality you could buy for a "Bed-in-a-bag" in an all-purpose store. The color is true tot he picture, but the product looks smooth and satiny in the photo. The material is rough and just not a high quality; therefore, it does not hang well over bed. Bedskirt opens at the corners slightly and is cheap fabric (the visible portion) sewn to thick paper material. Must be careful not to tear. IF I am able, I intend to return this product. If this comforter set had been $35, I would not complain and instead say "you get what you pay for". At $xx.xx I got much less than what I paid for. Shams do not completely close so pillow is exposed on back side. Were I to keep it, I would try to sew on buttons. The fabric is so thin that you can see through. Make sure pillows you use for sham are solid white (as most pillows are these days, but I have some older pillows that were made with stripes).
I needed a comforter for house viewings/open house. For the price and everything it includes this is a good deal. I wouldn't use it long term because the quality of fabric isn't that great, however I don't even mind that so much. The problem is it does not fit my king bed. It barely covers the mattress on both sides. So I have to pull it way over to cover the side of bed that faces door and hope no one walks over to other side of bed.
