I travel frequently on business and have grown accustom to the high quality linens offered in finer hotels. Having never ordered bedding on line, I was hesitant to purchase the duvet cover. I did a lot of shopping around and compared both prices and quality (thread counts, etc) before placing my order. When I finally did order, the package arrived promptly and the duvet cover was in excellent condition. It is absolutely beautiful! Clean crisp lines with barely a wrinkle --- and the subtle contrast of the sheen vs matte stripes is perfectly elegant! I do wish the sides were a bit longer but I think that's simply the nature of duvets, especially with down filled comforters. The fabric is beautiful, incredibly soft and pill-free. It's even better than the hotel linens! Thank you!

This duvet is a must have!!! I ordered it in July so it's the perfect weight. I've read many reviews about tc and there seems to be a little confusion about softness at higher thread counts. Rule of thumb: anything over 500 is going to be soft, however, the higher you go, the heavier the sheet will be. So, use around 500-600 in the summer months and switch out to your higher thread counts in the winter months. (800+) Also, sateen doesn't seem to wrinkle as bad as egyptian cotton. As far as all thoose wrinkles...wash in hot and dry on very hot with lots of dryer sheets and take the sheets out when they are completely dry and even hot!!! Put them on the bed immediately or fold nicely. Should do the trick!!! Throw a like colored towel in when drying sometimes helps to because of the weight of the towel and keeps the sheets from tangling on themselves. Happy shopping. Enjoy those thread counts.

I was so disappointed with this purchase.I bought it in Sage Green and it was not nearly as bright and shiny as the photo.I washed it and it was even more dull.The material is flimsy and no where near 800 thread count! The feel is not soft at all. The cover sort of hangs and dosen't give off that rich look you would expect from a high quality duvet cover. I say save your money and don't buy this one as once you buy it you can't return it without a fee!!!

I just replaced my duvet cover and the Fabric is of high quality and very soft to the touch. The color in ivory is closer to an off-white and has a very cool tone. So, if you are looking for any warm tones to your bedding this would not be the color for you. Overall I think this is a good product especially for the price!

This duvet cover works for me because I was looking for something much thicker than 2 sheets sewn together. And with 3 cats and 3 kids, this is definitely the protection I was looking for. It's very thick and the protects my expensive down comforter. It does wrinkle however (and even ironing won't get it smooth and shiny looking), but I don't care because I have it underneath my quilt. I wish the pillow shams were roomier as it's hard to stuff the pillows inside. And another issue I have is that it's pricey. Still, I am pleased because I haven't seen any other duvet cover that comes close to protecting a down comforter the way this one does.

I ordered both the Duvet cover and the sheet set in white. The shippping was fast - less than a week. The feel of the sheets and pillowcases and shams is amazing. They washed nicely and felt very substantial yet soft and silky to the touch. I really love sleeping in the sheets and I love the feel against my skin. I lay the sheets and cases on the bed as soon as they are out of the dryer and run a hot iron over them quickly to get that new sheen and feel but this is not necessary, just a little spoiling for me. I would recommend these sheets and duvet cover 100%.

In the few years that I've purchased bedding from Overstock, I've learned that it's hit or miss. This duvet cover wasn't an entire miss, but it wasn't an entire hit either. I've definitely purchased better quality duvet covers from Overstock before. For starters, the button enclosure has a few flaws. I dislike that the buttons are small (essentially, they're shirt buttons -- easily replaceable, so you could view that as a plus), and they were sewn on rather flimsily. One of the button holes was sewn shut, so I had to cut it open. There were trailing threads in various places along the seams, which makes me hesitant to wash the duvet cover in any cycle other than delicate/gentle. And the fabric quality for being 800tc is, in my opinion, below average. I have other duvet covers with the same thread count, and they feel substantially sturdier and better made. I will say that the color of the duvet cover is pretty spot on to what's displayed on the site. I realize computer monitors can't be relied upon for color accuracy, but the indigo color I purchased was, for the most part, precise. Overall, I'm content with the duvet cover. It's not so terrible that I feel compelled to return it.

Yes I bought 2 of these .. the blue and the white. Both arrived quickly and I was so pleased with how lovely they looked. I washed them right away in cold water and low drying and put them right on 2 down comforters (also bought on Overstock) They look lovely. They were wrinkled at first but this morning after a night's sleep they have settled into a nice smooth look.The fabric doesnt look very soft from the pictures but OHH is it. I'm so glad I bought these. Also .. the colors are almost exact to the picture for the blue and the white. The white is so crisp and clean and the blue was a brilliant royal blue. I've looked EVERYWHERE for a beautiful blue comforter or Duvet cover and I was very pleased.

I spend 1/4 of my day in bed and want it to be the most comfortable possible. The design on this duvet cover is subtle enough that it looks great in the room. Beautiful and white. Extremely soft. Forms to the 650 fill down comforter that I bought from Overstock. I bought this duvet with reservation because the dimensions were exactly the same as my comforter. They must be made with a little extra material in the width and length because it was a little big. Washed it in cold and dried it on medium-low and had no problems. It fits even better now. The key is to wash it alone and in a large capacity washer/dryer. This way it will not get smashed by everything else and wrinkle really badly. The duvet was under $100 dollars. I also bought a 1000tc Egyptian Cotton sheet set. It is the softest thing EVER. With 1000tc under me and 800tc covering me, I have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. Thanks to the online help for answering my questions.

Everyone gave it really good reviews and I thought it was a great deal considering the thread count but when it got to me, for one thing, the packaging looked a little suspicious as there was no labelling, it was only in a plastic bag. Another thing, I've felt 800 thread count before and this to me felt more like 300!! So unfortunately it was a return for me.

- Rec'd the sage color - looks amazing in person. - I washed it right after recieving it and it feels like i've washed it a hundred times.. it's so soft and has a luxurious broken in quality. Would definitely reccommend!

Product is much better than I expected. Love the design. Great option if you have animals that love to sneak on the bed when you are not looking.

I bought this item and I thought I was purchasing a comforter, so when I got it I was a bit disappointed. Although I didn't put them on right away it actually took me a year later, after telling my husband it was time for a new comforter and he agreed I thought about they duvet cover set that I bought and jtried it out to see what it would look like on our bed. It looked great, then I got under the covers and I feel in love with them right away. It was so soft and comfortable I didn't want a new one I want the one I have had all along. Thanks so much for not taking it back I really would have missed out on this wonderful item. I will be back.

I bought this in the Royal blue, and it is a georgeous color. It's a rich, vibrant damask stripe. The material is heavy, but ultra-soft. Looks great with our decor.

Overall, this product was very disappointing. The stitching looked extremely flawed and the fabric was far from acceptable. The cover feels very rough and there was no tag or insert verifying that it was 800 thread count. I would definitely not recommend this product.

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he really likes it. I ordered the chocolate and it is a really nice deep brown color, not faded like some of the reviews of the navy blue. It goes really well with taupe sheets. I got the Charter Club duvet to put the cover on and it is a little big for the milano cover, but I think it is because the Charter Club duvet is too large.

I purchased the chocolate brown cover and was very disappointed in the dullness of the brown. It did not look dark or rich at all. The fabric felt cheap and did not fit well on my King size bed. I was very frusterated in having to pay for shipping costs to return the cover as I feel it was not well represented in its description and picture.

This product was not what I expected. Once washed it was so wrinkled that there was no way I could use it without ironing. I'm hoping that as it gets softer it will "sit" better. The color is true to the advertisement but the product did not look upscale at all.

The king duvet did not fit our king comforter.The king shams did not fit our king size pillow.The quality is poor.I do think the king is mismeasured or defective.

I would have shipped this duvet/sham set back if it weren't such a huge hassle because I was disappointed when I tried them on our bed. For one thing, I wouldn't consider the color, 'navy' at all and was expecting a much darker blue. The duvet cover is true to size and fits my duvet well but the shams are relatively small and my standard pillows barely fit inside. I haven't laundered these yet so can't speak to the possibility of wrinkling or shrinking but overall, I'm not willing to rate them any higher than average. I do think this purchase is a case of the price being too good to be true in terms of the overall quality.
